"I would love to meet Harold" Alina mentioned, "He seemes like a lovely person"

"Sometimes" Colten smirked " I came here now and then he reminds me of my grandpa and he needs help on the field "

"Such a kind heart" Alina said placing her hand in Colten's heart Colten grabbed her wrist and pulled her close he laid down on his back pulling her with him, she had her torso on top of him.

"I do have a kind heart" He admitted looking at her

"I know" She said with honesty "You have it since yoou were little"

"I had a good reason to be like that" he said admiring his view

"It's the second time today I feel flattered" She smiled back at him

"Well I plan on flatter you every day"

"Look" She pointed at his face "Stop being that romantic or I'll think you're like that naturally"

"This is me being natural" He smirked at her carefully taking the hair out of her face gently brushing his fingertips on her skin like if she was a porcelain doll

"Stop it" she said tapping him slighlthy on the chest

"Never" he chuckled making her kiss him, a sweet kiss, he held her head on both sides making her feel secure and between the kiss he smiled she took her lips from his, but their faces were still very close she opened her eyes and look at him

"Why are you smiling?" She questioned

"I'm happy that's all"

"Is Colten Perk happy? Oh my god" she said teasing and sitting down again, she then got up carrying on her act "What an unexpected moment ladies and gentleman"

"You're pushing it" he warned chuckling watching her tease him

"What a rare moment should we take pictures I think we should" she grabbed Colten's old camera and started to take pictures but Colten got up and grabbed her putting her over his shoulder "That's cheating" she laughed

Both had a good time after lunch, just chatting about random things and after awhile Colten proposed her to pack everything and visit Harold as they did. Once near the house Colten knocked on door wating for Harold to open.

"Oh look who it is" The old man said happy to see Colten, they hugged each other and Colten turned to Alina "I see your happier than usual " the man mentioned

"Harold, this is-"

"Your love" Harold smiled " I presume" he lifted an eyebrown joined with a small smirk

"Yeah- Alina" Colton said blushing making Alina smile in admiration

"Hi it's a pleasure to meet you. I've heard great things about you" she sweetly smiled

"Well I lost nights of sleep hearing about you" the man joked "But it wasn't a bother at all in fact I really liked Colten's stories"

"Thanks" Colten thanked still blushing his ears red

"Oh come on in" They followed the man through the house, Alina analysed every detail of the house, how comforting it was and how beautiful it looked. They sat at the dinning table and on the way Harold held two books carefully he placed it on the table and then sat down.

"Well I guess it's a good time to look at old pictures" He mentioned smiling at the books, he opened it and showed them the first little field of sunflowers, it wasn't even considered a field it was more like a garden, her wife's garden. "I presume he told you our story" the man asked Alina and took a quick glance to a photo of his wife

"Oh yes. That's her? Doris?" She questioned smiling at the beautiful woman on the photo

"Yes, that's her" The man smiled "Like you, she liked sunflowers it was one of her loves"

"She seemed a genuine person" Alina commented

"Oh she was" they stood there talking and chatting about life, and how quick it was. They all got along well.Harold told Alina the amount of times Colten would appear at his house, crying, or furious about something she had done. When they noticed the sun was already setting and the moon was shinning.

"Thanks Harold for letting us stay" Alina said hugging the old man

"Thank you. For making me company" Harold said, Colten put the glasses of water that they used in the sink "Oh I almost forgot" Harold said leaving Alina on the hallway.

Colten met her in the hallway in her coat in his hands he carefully put in over her shoulder "You okay?" He asked and she nodded with a smile on her face, he smiled back at her and then started to tap with his hands all over his body a frown on his face "Shit. I think I left the phone in the kitchen I'll be right here in a second " she chuckled and watched him leave meanwhile Harold was approaching her with a book.

"This. Here. " He sad opening the book and placing it on the small table with a old phone there "with his other hand he handed her a pen "Sign it" he gave a soft smile Alina wasn't quite understanding what was happening

"Whenever we got visits Doris liked to remember who has been on the house so she made this short of visit book people would came and visit the sunflowers field of all over the place and she liked to keep that information to later record it. Take it. She would be more than happy to know you've signed it, to know you've been here. I'm sure she would love you" he smiled

"Oh I would loved to have met her" Alina said taking the pen and filling the book with her first and last name and where she lived

With the book signed and Colten finally with his phone the happily left the house and Harold. They talked a lot during the way home mostly Alina, she was amazed by Harold's love for Doris even though she was no longer here he would take about her with such adoration and love that made her feel like she was still alive.

"Well thanks for the ride bad boy" Alina teased while unbelting herself

"Well sure miss no problem" He smirked looking at her, his head resting on  the headrest

"See you tomorrow?" She questioned

He lifted an eyebrow "Hm... I don't know I must say your company was tolerable I guess I can do another day with you"

"Oh why thank you sir"

"Plus tomorrow it's Sunday"

"Our families reunite"

"Yes, so you shall see me"

"Hm, then I will excitedly wait for tomorrow" she said smiling, she opened the car door

"Hey hey" he grabbed her wrist "Where do you think you're going?"

"To my house"

"Without a kiss?"

"You're so cheesy did you know that?" She asked smiling approaching his face

"You make me cheesy" He smiled back, she gave him a sweet kiss on the lips, lips on lips

"Well cheesy boy I need to go" She said giving him a quick peck on his cheek. She got out of the car and closed the door, the window slid down she bowed so she could see his face "Good dreams"

"Only if they are with you" he answered back

"Text me when you're home" She advised walking to her front door

"Ah is that worry I see?" He question loudly so she could hear

"Don't be an ass" 

"I am a hot one though "

*Next Morning*

"You got home late"

"Sorry dad"

"I'm serious, where did you went?" Aaron question again, they were now setting the table outside for the whole family plus Perk's family

"Why do you care big brother?"

"I feel like you're more happy than you usually are. I mean you're not happy all the time but when you are you're not like... that"

"You're thinking too much...again"

"They are here" Martha advised them. The Perk's got in and started immediately to help like usual. Colten gets in Alina's view, he greets them and wastes no time but to check her out, a smirked planted on his face

"I'll help your sister" Colten said to Aaron "You can go"

"Really? Thanks man" Aaron said quickly leaving the place

"I see you love to set the table" she whispered

"I can look at you in the meantime so I guess I do like setting the table"

"Carefully with the flirtation " She warned "Our parents are inside"

"I'll try to keep it down"

"You better"

"Amazing as always" Anna said

"Oh please don't make me blush" Martha laughed

"Who wants some dessert?" Damien asked, the kids suddenly raised their hands as high they could. He got inside to get the ice cream for the children

"Oh I miss Ice Cream" Toby said

"Well you'll have plenty of time to eat it during the summer" Martha told him caressing his son's hair

"Oh speaking of it what time do we leave?" Anna questioned, Alina was caught by surprise not understanding the conversation

"Around 7 maybe? In time for lunch they can even go to the water " Martha proposed

"Yes, yes, I think it's good"

"I'm sorry to interrupt but what are you talking about?" Colten asked also lost in that conversation just like Alina

"Oh we forgot to tell you" Anna laughed

"oh right I didn't told Alina neither" Martha joined

"so... what's happening mom?" He asked

"We are going on vacation together"

"what?" Alina and Colten asked at the same time

"To the lake house" Martha explained "It's just a month, gladly we could reconcile the days to go all together"

"So when is this?" Alina question

"In two days..."

"What about Aaron?" She question knowing her brother was doing internship during the summer"

"He said it was fine for him, He said something about being perfectly fine" Alina took a suspicious look at Aaron

"You better not do it in my room" Alina whispered advising him

"Who knows" he shrugged his shoulders
