The school was on it's final days already, the time was passing and Alina wasn't realizing it,truth is today was the Prom something she had forgotten to be honest. Her head was nowhere to be seen, not in the study, not in boys, their friends had come to realize her weird and neutral behavior in these last weeks.

They were at Sophia's room at this moment getting ready for the prom, the room was messy, makeup, brushes, jackets, purses, rings, earrings . The pink room was a definitive mess.

"So what is Maximo wearing?!" Zoey questioned

"Hopefully nothing" Gabe answered making the girls laugh "the same as me" he said now in a serious tone

"Oh you guys are so cute " Sophia squealed

"Maybe he'll ask you to be his boyfriend today" Alina suggested while she was busy doing Sophia's makeup

"I dunno! That man looks like a rock, he doesn't do anything, he doesn't speak. Honestly if he listen to me it's s a miracle"

"Maybe he has some walls to be knocked down" Alina implied

"What about your partner Miss Zoey?!" Sophia asked

"That boy is really a shame to the Jones' family" Alina laughed

"Ok let's give some final touches so you guys can meet your dates" Alina said smiling to her work, she was the makeup artist of the group and till now she was doing and incredible job meanwhile the expert in hairs was Zoey.

"Speaking of dates" Gabe started "Who's yours?" he asked looking at Alina, she was busy putting Sophia's lipstick on and without looking she answered

"I don't have one"

"You what?" Gabe gasped

"What?" Zoey said now

"HMM?" Sophia questioned making a sound because her mouth was positined for the lipstick

"How came you not have a date? Every football player asked you for prom" Gabe mentioned "How are you going alone?"

"You don't necesarily need a partner to go to prom" she defended herself

"Yes you do. That's the whole point of going to prom"

"No, it's not. You go to prom to celebrate your school year, to relax and especially have fun and for that I don't need a partner"

"What about the waltz? You can't do that without a partner"

"I'm not doing it" She simply said "You're done sophs" Sophia left the comfortable chair and went to the bathroom to put her dress on

"But you'll be alone" Sophia said from inside the bathroom

Everybody cheered happily "Alright we are now going to announce the prom queen and king and for that we have our school principal Mr.Copeland" she announced making everyone clapp and whistle, Mr.Copeland climbed the stage waving and thanking the teenagers

"Well thank you!I hope you're having fun. We'll now announce the royal couple"He said giggling he took the envelope out of the pocket of his suit. Alina watched the crowd's excitment but nothing could compare to Emma's excitment her childhood dreams were coming true, Alina could understand why she was so excited.

"The prom king is .... Colten Perk" Between applauses and cheers Colten climbed up the stage and was coronated by Tracy " And tohelp the king to rule we have our Queen... Emma Huggings" Alina watched her cry in happiness getting coronated in front of her eyes

He was handsome as ever while she was over excentric a true queen.Colten extended his hand to Emma, she gracefully held it and he guided her to the dance floor .

"Ladies and Gentleman The Prom Queen and King will now have their first dance" Mr.Copeland announced getting off the stage. They stood in their positions to watch the couple dance. The song began and they slowly began to dance.

Fools rush in

She walked to the field a bit tipsy and sat in the benches where normally the coaches or the others plays whould sit.She closed her eyes and dreamt about the perfect prom... in her mind she would be somewhere else, she wouldn't go to prom, she would go to the beach,have a night out dance on the beach, eat some junk food with the right company it would be the perfect prom, a prom far away from here it's not much of a big deal going to prom yet why was this one letting her down, sad, overwhelmed, nauseous, wating to escape...
