Colten's PoV:

It wasn't right what I was doing it wasn't but how can I explain this it all started when we were younger. I loved her, I did. I know it's hard to believe I had 9 at the time but isn't that a pure love because it's innocent and pure?

I had known her my own life, she was my best friend but also my half. I knew all about her and she knew all about me. I told her everything and she told me everything, we were inseparable.

But not for that long.

In my little stupid and young head I decided to talk with her alone, talk about how I loved her and how I didn't just want to be her best friend but her love, to a nine-year-old boy I was very sentimental and that ruined me.

~*~ Flashback ~*~

"So where we going?" she asked

"There" I pointed to a lake

"I've never been there"

"Mom, doesn't want people there. She says it's too beautiful and people are bad and can ruin it"

"Oh then maybe I shouldn't go"

"It's okay I asked her if I could show you"

"oh okay" the little girl smiled, after a walk they both got into the lake it was beautiful it had a wooden trek to the water and the sunset made it even prettier

"wow it's beautiful Coltie" she said smiling

"You're beautiful" he said and she blushed

"Thank you very much" she smiled with her teeth and her eyes closed

"No welcome, it's true" he said "I wanted to tell you something"

"What is it?" she said sitting on the wooden treck, she took her shoes off and put them in the water

He followed her lead and sat near here "Promise you won't be mad, okay?"

"Okay" she smiled

"I'm going away"

"why?" she pouted

"Mom and Dad found new jobs and I'll be gone for a while but I'll be back I promise you" she started to cry and he took her head into his chest

"I don't want you to leave "

" I know, but I have to" he said caressing her hair

"what if you forget about me?"

"Are you crazy? I'll never forget about you! Will you forget about me?"

"No but I'll miss you so much"

"look" he told her looking at her eyes "if you ever miss me just think about me and know that I'll always be here" he said pointing to her heart "and you'll be here" he sad pointing to his heart

"I really like you, coltie " she have little sobs

"I really really like you too, so much" he said looking at her eyes and then her lips and then in the innocence of two little children's a very meaningful kiss was given

I stopped daydreaming when I knew I was still looking at the book and Alina passed in front of me, she stopped and her eyes met mine she looked at the floor and then at me again and her face went furious

"Are fucking serious, Perk?"

What did I do this time? I thought

"It's not what you did but what you didn't" she stated

"I- Well-"

"For fucks sake's Perk" she said "We are never getting out of here if you don't finish this "

"I'm sorry I was thinking"

"Ah wow you do that now?"

"Fucking funny" I said, I tried to grab the mop but I don't know what I did and the bucket of water fell, spreading the water everywhere including Alina's shoes they were soaked in water

"PERK!!!!" she shouted and I couldn't do anything but to laugh "ARE YOU SERIOUS?"

"I'm so sorry "

"you're so not" she tried to lift her feet up and when she did she also dabbled water against me

"really?" I asked

"It wasn't on purpose " She commented giving a step back probably knowing that I would do something which I did. I grabbed the mop bumped it into her clothes. She was all wet and I just couldn't stop laughing.

"I said it wasn't on purpose!"

"Hm I don't care" I shrugged my shoulders, I did love to see her pissed off. She was so little and vulnerable.

Then cold water came down my skin . Alina just poured out her bucket of water on top of me.

Ok. Not that vulnerable.

And now I'm furious!

"YOU DID NOT!" I screamed

"but I did " she said putting her tongue out like she used to do when she was a kid

"Alina Jones, you're dead!"

"Only if you catch me" she started running through the water and I followed her, it was like we had 9 again. Crazy times.

She ran everywhere, she was really fast and the library was huge, so huge that I lost her.

I was looking between the shelves if I could find when I heard her little giggle I smirked, she was crouched near the water I spread earlier. I walked slowly and quietly so she wouldn't hear then I gave a sprint and grabbed her putting her in the wet floor, she was soaked in water and I couldn't stop laughing.

"This is why I don't play with you! You don't know how to play!" she said mad at me

"Me? You're just a terrible loser-" when I said that she grabbed me by the collar of my sweat and flipped me to the ground so now my back we're soaking in water and she was on top of me grinning like she had won the lottery or something.

"I'm what?" She asked all happy that she was winning

"A loser" I said chuckling, she grabbed my face and turned it to the left so my face would touch the water, I tried to grabbed her arms to stop and I did.

I pushed her arms off of me placing them over my head which was not a very clever idea because now we were really close. I could sense her cold breath arrive my face, I could see now every trace of her face and I just realized how much I missed, how beautiful she was and how she didn't had enough recognition for it, she should be a model, could be considered a Greek goddess.... maybe she was.

Our eyes locked, her eyes always had something I couldn't describe they were not like her brother's her eyes were blue with shades of golden, it was like a whole world there and I know that I wouldn't get tired of it. Her lips were parted, her lipstick was beautiful, it was a dark red that suited her perfectly though right now I just wanted to rip it off of her lips.
The position we were on didn't help either, she was on top of my lower region, and I could feel her breasts near my chest.

My thoughts were interrupted by a loud voice "OH MY GOD! what are you doing? You are all wet and what is this? This looks like a pool!" it was Julia

Alina quickly stood up and I did the same

"Go take a bath you two! I'll take care of this and go home please!" Julia said

"Thanks Julia!" Alina said giving her a kiss "Happy holidays"

"Yeah sure darling, Happy Holidays to you too"Julia said grabbing the mop

"Thank you so much Julia " I said to her, hugging her

"It's okay, son! Just don't lose her! " She advised me, I nodded at her, I said my goodbyes and walked to the balneary

Once I got in I took quickly my clothes and grabbed a towel I walked to the shower and then I heard another shower, I heard the water falling onto the floor...

Nobody was here at this time, it was the last day of school so the only possible person to be in there was

Doesn't she has the girl's bathhouse? What is she doing here? I turned up the water and I took my shower, trying to think in everything but Alina, I even thank about how didn't had time to go to Taco Bell lately

After the shower I went to grab my things and I suddenly collide with a wet and warm body

"Sorry!" she said not moving, I don't know if she was blushing or if it was from the hot shower

"What are you doing here?"

"The girl's bathhouse was locked" she said still pretty close to me

"oh ok" I said looking at her lips, my heart seemed to be on fire and my lungs weren't working correctly

"I need to go now" she said bitting her lip nervously, oh that lip

Stop it!

"yeah yeah ok" she walked away, leaving me there knowing that I needed to made up my mind and stop living in this lie...
