"H-Hi" Aaron stuttered, he was contemplating how breathtaking Zoe looked like never did he seen such beauty in his life

"Aaron?" she called again

"What?"

"You zoomed out! I asked where's your sister?" Zoey explained, a bit embarrassed he looked at her in the eyes and pointed upstairs she smiled and left him alone thinking on what the hell was going on for this sudden stupidity of his, any girl made him good like this but Zoey and that was considered a problem.

"Hey girl" Zoey greeted Alina once she stepped inside her room

"Hey, I'm here" Alina shouted from the bathroom, Zoey got inside the bathroom and looked at her friend

"This is huge" Aaron commented once they entered the hotel

"Very Well, everyone has their invitation?" Sophia questioned

"Yes sophia" Gabe rolled his eyes "You've been asking that for the whole trip, woman" making everyone giggle, they walked to the reception and a nice lady attended them.

"Good evening, welcome to the Palace Hotel how may I assist you?"

"Good evening! We came to today's party that the hotel is holding " Sophia explained

"Very well may I see the invitations?"

"Here they are" Sophia gave the invites to the receptionist

"Ok, very good! The party is being held in the club upstairs while the dinner is downstairs for any information please be free to come here and ask" she gave a smile and delivered five black cards to each one of them "These cards gave you permission to pass in certain rooms of the hotel according to the invitation you bought if you both the expensive one you are able to enter in VIP spaces"

"Ok! Thanks you so much!" Sophia thanked

"No welcome! Have a great dinner and a happy new year"

As that said they walked happily to the dining room which was delightful

It screamed money, luxury and champagne, literally. The tables were big which made everyone to connect and speak there was a lot of people from a lot of different ages, it was so exciting and exhilarating. The music was calm, just a simple piano playing but they had to eat now if they wanted to go to the new year's party upstairs.

They sat down near q couple of friends of the school, everyone was there....

"Hey T" Alina say greeting him with two kisses

"Hey Al, your boy went to the restroom he must be here in a min"

"Ok thank you! Hey Joe" she said greeting the boy next to Travis

"Hey girl wassup" after everyone was greeted and properly introduced to Aaron the food came and Jake was still missing

"Hey boys" Alina heard a very familiar voice at the end of the table which made her anxious and eager

She didn't dare to look at him but occasionally her best friend didn't made his presence go unnotice " Is that Colten Perk?"

"Oh my I'm going to die" Gabe mumbled waggling the napkin to his face

"That man is hot!" Sophia stated hitting her lip

"Well I'm loving this talk about Colten but I have to go to the restroom so excuse me for a minute" Aaron said leaving the table. Alina didn't want to look because she knew it would bring back emotions she didn't want to fell again, it would bring her disgust, anger, disappointment and mostly heartbreak but also over the fact of fear that if she looked she would be stunned by him, he was a handsome man and right now she didn't wantI to look at him in that way, in fact she didn't want to look at him at all.

"Alina? Alina Perk?" a feminine voice questioned, Alina, woke up from her trance and looked at the owner of that voice

"Vanya?" Alina smiled

"Hey how are you?"

"I'm great"

"You're here by yourself?"

"No! I'm with Gabe" she said pointing at him "Sophia and Zoey" she pointed at the girls " and also my brother"

"Oh Aaron is here"

"Yeah, he was just a minute ago"

"He went to the restroom but who are you again?" Zoey questioned not liking this new face

"I was a friend of Aaron"

"Correction, a girlfriend of Aaron" Alina said, Zoey did definitely not like her

"You dated the hot Jones? Girl, tell me!!!" Gabe squealed making Vanya laugh

"It was a long time ago "

"It was 2 years ago, my baby bro was a freshman and hunted down Vanya that was a sophomore"

"Dang! Lucky girl" Gabe mumbled

"I was yes" Vanya smiled. Everyone was loving Vanya besides Zoey, she hated every single bit, she didn't want her here she was a possible threat and she was so happy right now that Aaron looked at her in different eyes.

"Hey, I'm back" Aaron said sitting down next to Zoey

"Hey A" Vanya smiled

"V? Hey!! Wassup?"

"I'm good, I hope you're having a cool night"

"Yeah"

"Ok I'll see you in the club bye" Vanya smirked at him leaving a super pissed Zoey

Alina that was next to Zoey whispered in her ear " There's fume getting out of your ears"

"Shut up" she said Alina giggled looking at Gabe that was in front of her making him giggle

The food came and it was divine, while they were waiting for the dessert Alina sees someone that she wished she didn't, her eyes get stuck in the man in front of her and her best friend notices "So... how's things between you and Mr. Not-so-Perfect?"

"Better than ever" Alina responds looking down at the table to get distracted

"Oh, How so?"

"We are definitely never speaking again"

"Just like you wanted huh?"

"Yup"

"Something happened on Christmas?"

"How do you-" Alina wondered but Zoey quickly interrupted her

"Well Miss.Fakeness filled up her Instagram with Colten's Cottage"

"Yeah" Zoey looked at Colten for a moment he was mesmerized his eyes didn't move, it looked like a breaking statue but his eyes were full of adoration? no, no.. Lust! Yes lust... then she realizes he is looking at her best friend.

"Is he wearing a pink velvet blazer??" Sophia whispered "Shit, that man has the looks, the style what doesn't he has? ..."

"personality" Alina mumbled to herself, a little to high making their friends listen

"Who's that next to him?" Aaron asked curiously and they all snap their heads, totally not gone unnoticed

"What the fuck is he doing with Danielle?" Jake asked in an angrily tone

"Well she was the perfect woman for the job " Alina replied

"None" he mumbled,finally the dessert got served. Brownies with vanilla ice cream.

Alina's favorite. The girl loved food in it self but brownies with ice cream where in her top 10.

Although she was all delighted with the dessert she couldn't stop to look at her boyfriend she sensed that something wasn't right, what was this sudden change of humor when Danielle was brought up to the conversation and why the hell was he still looking at her and Colten with these angry eyes.

"So I've been thinking about who I wanted to kiss today..." Sophia started and she quickly got our attention "maybe I'll find a sugar daddy and then we'll end up falling for each other..."

"Bitch I been looking for them first" Gabe snapped

"Look I'm serious! I need a man... I'm done being a whore"

"Well that's news flash" Zoey said taking back

"Are you sick?" Alina commented making the others giggle

"But hey... If you find a sugar daddy tell me" Game interrupted

"Hey babe- " Jake whispered to Alina to which she hummed "I'm going to the bathroom ok?"

"Ok! But be careful you know it's a big day and it's already ten some people are already drunk and all"

"So...Aaron why you here?" Gabe questioned, he surely knew why he was here but he wanted to spice things up

"Hum well Alina always told she had a great time here and then when Zoey asked me it felt alright to come"

"Yeah I mean... I thought I would have and amazing time here so I thought why not!"

"Then why did you refuse all those times I asked you to come?" Alina said smirking

"Well... Because it was different?!"

"Hm what changed ?" Sophia said with her eyebrows furrowed

"Guys..." Zoey warned

"Do you have any friends?"Sophia asked

"Yeah I do "

"Where they at?"

"Probably partying and shit"

"I have to go now excuse me..." Aaron said leaving the table, Alina was starting to get worried about her boyfriend so she texted him

"Oh poor thing" Zoey said worriedly, after a couple of minutes talking they are interrupted by a familiar voice

"Wassup T" Alina greeted

"Hey Travis " Zoey smiled

"Hello pretty boy" Gabe smirked and Sophia didn't said anything, she didn't moved she just made an annoyed face that they all saw

"Hey you took a long time " Zoey said and that reminded Alina that Jake wasn't replying her texts

"Well I went outside to take some fresh air and then when I wanted to go to the bathroom it was impeded"

"Why?" Gabe asked

"There was some security guards outside saying there was a situation"

"A situation ?" Alina's heart speed up really quickly, her boyfriend had gone to the bathroom a hour ago and hadn't turn back maybe it was him, maybe something happened to him.

"Jake's in the bathroom! I need to go and see if he's okay!" Alina said standing up

"Be careful, anything call me!" Zoey instructed

"Yeah!" Alina walked to the bathrooms and desired with one security guard near the man's restroom. When she got near him she heard loud screams and noises.

"Miss you can't be here my colleague is dealing with the sittuation"

Then she heard someone, a woman,
crying out "Stop it Colten stop it "

I need to get in, Alina thought

"Sir I know the guy I can help"

"Are you sure the situation it's really messy"

"I'll help I promise" the security guard nod and opened the door when he did she was faced by a shocking scenario
