It was Christmas Time and as always, The Jones's family would join Perk's at their cottage.

The road trip was very long they were going to stay there for 3 days, The Perk's were already there waiting for the Jones's and of course the rest of the family (Nana, Grampa, Grammar the cousins we're in their families) would come to. Good thing it was a big house.

Alina wasn't feeling Christmas this year which is odd because she loves Christmas but the whole incident with Colten at the library and at the bathhouse was getting her insane.

"Ah little sis you need to chill out" Aaron said once they got in the cottage. Everyone was helping to take the bags out of the car "It's Christmas " Aaron smile which she rolled her eyes

When everything was settled it was time for dinner, today it was Christmas Eve so everyone had to eat and go to bed really soon so Santa could deliver the presents if he has presents.

Alina tried to chill out like her brother told her too but once she got into her room, there was someone already there...Emma

What a surprise.

"What the hell are you doing in my room?"

Emma had a smirk on her face and with all the serenity in the world she looked at a Alina and said "Anna gave me this room, don't be rude to me please!"

"Ok ok relax" she said to herself leaving the room she walked to the kitchen and asked "Where am I sleeping? Because there's someone in my room "

"Oh I forgot to tell you, dear" Anna said "Emma is passing Christmas with us, I borrowed her your room. I though you could stay in your old one"

"But my old one was in Colten's room" she said starting to panick

"Well it's the bigger bed and I'm not letting you sleep in the couch" Anna laughed

"It's like the old times honey!" Martha smiled "You used to sleep in the horizontal because the bed was so big"

"Oh I remember that" Anna laughed with Martha but Alina wasn't that happy with the idea, oh if Emma finds out she's dead

Colten! She needs to find Colten and solve this.

"Where's Colten?"

"Near the hot tub, darling" She walked outside to the balcony and found him on his swimsuit not near the hot tub but in the hot tub

"Hey" she greeted calling for his attention

"Hi" he simply responded noticing how good she stayed under the christmas lights

"We need to talk" she stated making his heart skip for a bit

"Hum yeah" he said coming closer to her in the hot tub, she was outside with her arms resting in the edges of the hot tub "I'm sorry -" he said

"I don't your girlfriend is in my room"

"What?" he questioned he thought she wanted to talk about Friday's little situation in the library and in the bathhouse, oh how wrong he was

"Well apparently, your girlfriend is here so she's staying in my room!"

"Where you staying then?" he asked, he didn't know about this

"In your room" She commented and his eyes widened, his heart was beating like crazy and suddenly it was very hot and no it wasn't from the hot tub

"You what?"

"You heard me! Now go talk to your mom and do something!" she demanded

"Wow I can't do anything " he said

"You can! Talk to her, say you can behave around your girlfriend and make her sleep with you!"

"Wait!" he stood up showing his perfect body, it wasn't too worked up it just had this excellent shape where you could see his abs perfectly which intimidated Alina a bit "You know my mom she would never allow that!"

"She did in times"

"You took girls to your bedroom all the time" she pouted, she wanted her room back

"yeah, and because of that I can't do it now with my girlfriend..." he said looking to her lips

"Fine" she rolled her eyes and walked inside super angry

"Someone's grumpy, guys"Aaron told the little kids

"MR. GRUMPY, MR.GRUMPY"

"MR. GRUMPY, MR.GRUMPY" they sang pointing at Alina

"I think it's the- the- "

"THE GRINCH!" They said in unison

"Whatever, I'm going to unpack" She said super grumpy

After a delicious dinner and some Christmas Stories around the Christmas tree it was time to go to bed...

I don't know who was happier, Alina or Emma, after finding out where Alina was sleeping. Emma couldn't allow such thing so she had an ideia.

Colten and Aliana went to their old room and while she was in the bathroom changing to her pijamas, he got undressed, with only some boxers and a white shirt on which was perfect, the cottage was very cozy and warm not to talk about the amount of sheets that bad had...So this night Colten wouldn't be cold.

Alina got off of the bathroom with a simple pijama on, some fry pants and a white sweater not to forget about her fluffy white slippers

while Colten was trying to debate the reason why he couldn't sleep wether it was Alina's presence or the fact that he had to breakup with his girlfriend sooner or later.

After 30 minutes or so, Alina was already sleeping and snoring really loud at least from Colten's perspective. He couldn't sleep his head was hundred per mile so he decided to leave.

Alina which was sleeping peacefully was woken up by a body on top of her doing weird things. She opened her eyes and through the dark of the night she saw the one and only, Emma.

"Get off" Alina said pushing Emma off making her fall gracefully into the floor

"Rude"she said getting up, fixing her shorty pajama

" I was sleeping... What the hell is that?" Alina asked

"What?"

"That?" Alina pointed at Emma's clothes

"It's my pajama"

"You know it's winter? What is your pajama on summer?"

"Oh my God Alina can you be more boring?"

" Your pajama is extremely short"

"Is sensual "

"Is cold"

"Is sexy"

"It's winter, you're in shorts"  Alina stated and Emma rolled her eyes

"It's perfect to spend the night with your boyfriend..."

"Is that my coat?" Alina asked

"It matched ....Now let me be in the middle?"

"Hell no! I'm not third wheeling"

"Whatever" Emma climbed Alina till the middle of the bed but then she realized "wheres colten?"

"Alina!"

"What woman ? What? I was dreaming happily with Harry styles!!!!"

"Where's Colten"

"I don't care"

"Where is he?"

"Probably downstairs, I don't know, leave me alone!"

"Urgh, fine! You're useless"

"Thank God!" Alina said trying to get back to sleep but she wasn't that lucky today when she was about to sleep Emma's annoying reached her ear again.

"Alina"

"Hm"

"I can't find him, he's not downstairs nor outside! Help me!" she demanded

"Maybe he doesn't want to be found Emma! Go to sleep!"

"I told him that I would be here and he loves me I'm sure he wouldn't disappear!"

"If he loves you that much then he'll appear in your room anytime so chop chop hurry"

"You're right maybe he is trying to surprise me !"

"Hm hm"

"Bye!" Emma said happily going to "her" room

When Alina was finally ready to sleep her consciousness hit her like a bitch not letting her sleep knowing Colten was disappeared... So after a long debate with herself she got up and walked downstairs, she knew that she loved to drink warm milk at Christmas night. When they were younger they used to sneak out of the room to go downstairs and drink the hot milk and the cookies with Santa but the sleep would take care of them making them fall asleep before they could see Santa.

She looked first in the kitchen, nothing! then in the living room, nothi- Wait! She walked closer to the sofas and saw a body paying there, Colten, and in the little table was a empty cup .

She touched his face carefully to wake him up.

"Perk" she whispered

"Hm"

"Perk"

"what?" he said opening his eyes

"Your girlfriend was looking for you"

"I know that's one of the reasons why I'm here"

"Oh then what's the other?" she questioned sitting on the table

"Well there's actually two other reasons, being one the fact that I love a good cup of warm milk at Christmas night and the other being the fact that I didn't want you to feel uncomfortable sleeping next to me" he said looking at her eyes, she felt bad knowing she had trespassed that idea to him

"I'm sorry I didn't want you to feel bad"

"I don't feel bad, I simply understood your part" he smiled, a hurt smile that had actually hurt him. She felt bad now, really bad and without saying nothing she left leaving Colten with his broken heart and an empty cup of milk. He stood there dreaming about how easy things we're when he was little how everything was easy when everyone was young and naive, and expressing things or emotions wasn't hard and complicated it was truthfull and simple but adolescence really hitted like a bitch.

He turned around and tried to sleep when he felt someone covering him up with a fluffy blanket. Alina.

"you back?"

"you thought that I would leave you?"

"I mean-"

"yeah yeah, take your cup" she said handing him a cup of warm milk in the table were the cookies that their moms had made for Santa and in her hand was another cup of milk.

"So what do you want for Christmas?" she asked smiling, this was what they did when they were younger they would go to the leaving room waiting for Santa, speaking their hearts out till they fall asleep

"I don't know..."

"oh please it must be something..." she said taking a sip of her warm milk

"a book"

"always so simple"

"I don't ask for big things"

"You should, maybe Santa will actually bring your present"

"Hm yeah I don't think so" he said admiring her "What do you want?"

"Well, I really wanted a Louis Vuitton bag..." she smirked

"You always knew what to ask"

"Hm yeah but I would always wonder if I made the right request"

"If it don't work out you'll always have next year" he laughed

"You're so funny" she laughed

~*~ Christmas morning ~*~

The morning came and like always the kids were thrilled to see the presents under the tree.

Callie and Tobias walked downstairs slowly so anyone could hear, they got to the living room and seached for the presents under the tree but they noticed something odd.

"Toby?" the little girl question the boy croched under the tree seachring for a box that ahad his name on it.

"Hm.."

"Look" she pointed to the couch where two bodies were snuggled in each other.

"They slept down here?"

"Maybe they wanted to see Santa, look at the cookies and the milk" the litte kids jumped to their brothers waking them up in great jolly.

"Wake up Mr.Grumpy and Mrs.Grumpy!"

"WAKE UP!WAKE UP!"

"Guys!Guys! Calm Down" Colten said once he woke up

"Oh god my stomach!" Alina said in pain due to the jumps on top of them that the kids were doing

"Hey guys get out, you're hurting her" he demanded, taking them out of the sofa, they got out and run quickly to tree, well to the presents.

"You okay?" Colten asked Alina, she nodded and they stood there for a few seconds looking at each other they didn't know how they got to that closeness last night but definitely any of them was complaining .

They heard steps upstairs and quickly stoop up and walked near the tree to help the kids out and so anyone could see them i the couch together like that.

"This one is mine"Toby cheered

"Oh i got this one" Callie smiled picking up her present

"You guys are already downstairs ?" Anna laughed seeing the kids around the tree

"oh let's open the presents c'mon " Martha smiled walking near them

Emma quickly rushed downstairs after hearing the whole noise, her hair was extremely messed up and her sleep mask was on her head.

"Is it Christmas already?" she asked

"Yeah" Colten said

"oh I have a present for you..." she smiled picking up a bag and giving it to her boyfriend

"Thanks, Em" he said giving her a kiss in the cheek. He opened it and there it was a leather jacket "It's really cool than-"

"See the back! The back!"

He turned the coat and he saw there written 'C+E' and heart around it, Colten's eyes ridden and Alina started to chuckle

"Wow..."

"Isn't it amazing?" Emma asked

"Yeah yeah" Colten smiled. Alina's phone started to ring and she picked up, it was her boyfriend, Jake.

"Hey bae"

"Hey Jake"

"Did you opened my present yet?"

"No"

"Go see it..."

"ok ok" she grabbed her present and opened it up and a smile grew on her face "Oh my God! Jake! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!"

"Did you like it?"

"I loved it! It's the bag!!"

"Yes babe! Ok I have to go now, bye I love you!Merry Christmas"

"Merry Christmas" she turned off the phone and squealed in joy

"Oh isn't that the bag you wanted so much?"Anna questioned

"Yup" Alina smiled

"What a great boyfriend you have" her mother smiled at her. Colten was looking at the bag like if the object was a threat, maybe a warning.
