Alina tried to escape as fast as she could and she did it sucefully she took the chance of her brother's drive and went home, adrenaline running through her veins.

As they got home Alina made some noodles "Hungry sis?" Aaron asked her

"Yes"

"You look weird you know? What happened at the beach?"

"Nothing... I'm going to my room" she said with the cup of noodles in the hand trying to escape that conversation she climbed upstairs, her parents would come home later that day so she chose to eat in her room rethinking what had happened. Everytime her mind travel to there her belly would get tickled, a fuzzy feeling inside and her heart pounding fast as if it was scared or maybe it was just the adrenaline rushing.

She ate the noodles in her desk trying to distrat herself with some instagram posts.

She saw Kyle's post and analyzed it very carefully she saw that Colten was tagged so she unexpectedly, without thinking clicked on his name and got to his profile. For the first time she saw his posts, all of them, the recent ones, the old ones, there weren't many of them in fact but then one caught her attention...

Is that- m-me?

She quickly clicked on the photo and read the description

"That's me!" she shouted choking on the noodles, she let go of the noodles and grabbed the phone with her two hands closely analyzing herself and thinking about those words " things change but not all...what did'nt change" she said to herself

knock knock

a knock on the door scared her away "hey sis you good?" Aaron asked from the pther side"Heard you scream or whatever"

"eah I just got scared with a- a- spider!?"

"Ok?! Anything knock on my door "

"Sure" she simply replied her head going 1000 miles per hour thinking about the post and the kiss and all of these things that had one thing in common... Colten Perk.

Why? Was the question wondering around Alina's head after all this time and all these crazy fights, disagreements that they had ... it didn't make sense to Alina at all.

Time passed by and Aina went to bed with that thought in her head 'why' making her very awake not letting her sleep, she even heard Tobias getting home who had been picked up by his older brother and eentually, later, her parents whom arrived home from work.

Time passed and it was 1 AM, everyone in the house was already, possibly, sleeping...everyone but Alina, her eyes were closed but she was seeing a lot of things, moments framed from the past which were interrupted by a weird sound on her window, she quickly sat up scared of the noise. Altough the RGB leds were lighting up the room she need to see better so she turned on her chandelier

Bang~

There it was the sound again, now more clearer... she looked at the window it seemed normal, she waited foranother sound, a confirmation... but thesound vanished, she shrugged her shoulders and turned pff the chandelier light getting ready. to sleep or at least rest her body since her mind kept her very much awake but not to her luck another sound was heard-

Knock knock knock~

three fast knocks on the window making her get up really quickly, she looked at the window with her eyebrows furrowed and the thumps repetead. Three fast thumps...again...she got close to te window to take the curtains way and see what was making that sound, there was one person she remind herself of that would knock like that all the time, as if it was a slogan, a motto, a signature to know it was him.

"Colten?" She gasped her eyes widdened, Colten was outside on top off the roof in front of her window..."How did you get there?" she asked but he pointed to his ear signaling he couldn't hear and then to the handles of the window so she would open the window as she did.

He didn't even gave her time to open the window properly, he seemed in a hurry, he seemed tired also, he closed the window behind them and finally turned to Alina, she was dumbfounded her mouth open, her eyebrows widened... "What- The- Hell?"

"Hi" Colten waved with a small smile on

"What are you doing here?" she asked

"Wanted to talk to you" he said taking his leather jacket off and laying it on the chair near the end of bed    

"Coudn't wait for tomorrow ? We have family sunday.."

"Nope it really can't wait"

"Well... I was busy" she said tried to avoid this whole situation

"Doing?"

"What a normal person does at one AM ...sleeping" she whispered

" Sure..."

"If my parents find you here you're dead meat...literally"

"Worried?"

"A lot"

"You weren't worried when you ran off the beach after we kissed" he said bluntly, hearing him say that abruptly took her off her guard, hearing those words so directly and cold made her knees shiver and her skin bristle.

"Had- Had things to do"

"Did you just sutter? and what things? eat noodles? " he asked looking at her the sup of noodles on the desk

"I was just tired"

"You were just scared...admit it" he said looking in her eyes she tried avoid his gaze as much she could, but he grabbed her arm and got close to her making impossible for Alina to not look aat him, at his face, his eyes. Though the only light in the room was from the leds she could see his eyes shinning as if they had been crying but his mouth had a soft smile, a small curve on one side of his mouth making a dimple appear. "I'm scared too" he said appreciating her beauty under the soft lights "but we can't ignore what happened at the beach. We've ignored a lot of things, even the fucking New Year... but this... no way. I'm here till we have a proper talk about everything..."

"Let's start by hmm... do you like me, Alina Jones?"

"Colten... you should go. My parents they-" she tried to say but was stopped by his hands grabbing the back of her head

"Stop wandering around the question! and just freaking say-" his loud words were cut off by a pair of lips on his, he quickly recovered by the shook and grabbed her waist close to him as if it was possible to be even more close. Her hands were now on both sides of his face touching carefully in his jawline.

After some seconds they separated for air, he slightly opened his eyes directly gazing hers "So...?" he questioned

"Actions speak louder than words"

"I'll take that as a yes" he smirked holding her in a hug her arms free resting in his shoulders

"You will?" she smirked back " What if it's a no?"

"Oh Alina Jones you kill me" he give a bigger smirk and raised an eyebrow

"good to know" she flirted making him grab her by her thights and holding her, she gripped her legs around his torso her head above his and her hair falling down making a curtain around their heads. He slowly laid her down on the bed and she pushed his face to meet hers, they changed some sweet kisses which rapidly turned into sloppy ones.

The room started to get warmer and warmer and by the time Colten's mouth was already in Alina's neck, licking her soft skin, it was not hickeys that was considered childish for Colten at that moment... the neck was a place to be savoured while the hickeys should be given in places the clothes would cover.

"Colten..." she whispered her hand clenching on to his t-shirt, close as almost demanding him to continue, both running high on adrenaline, the hears beatting fast and their heads dizzy as if they were completly high, under the effect of the most powerfull illegal substance... but it was only love.

His mouth tried to go down it was already in the clavicle bone but the fabric of her pajama t-shirt didnd't allow him to, his hands travelled to her torso under her pajama the contact skin on skin made Alina grunt, music to Colten's hears, how could they be missing all that, all of this right here, they fit each other like gloves, they completed each other but unfortunally their heated moment was ruined by Alina's mother calling her.

"Shit..." They cursed

"Hurry...c'mon" she said quickly getting up and opening the window, Colten dressed the his jacket, Alina started to freak out telling him to move and hurry up but instead of climbing the window and leave he grabbed her waist and kissed her, she kissed back, a sweet kiss "I'll see you" he whispered smirking at her

"I hope so" She gave him a kiss on the cheek and happily he left by the window she closed the window and then the curtains right in the moment her mother opened her bedroom door.

"Alina are you okay?" Her mother questioned

"Yes" she smiled "I'm fine"

"Though I heard something"

"Probaly the window, it was hot so I opened it"

"Oh okay, well go get some sleep please"

"Sure ma"

"Goodnight dear"

"Night" her mother closed the door leaving Alina in the room alone, she then between the curtains tried to find Colten and there he was, already near his car. She took a deep breath and smiled to herself, not knoing what was really happening, why was she so happy and dizzy, she didn't knew but she liked it.

And just like that she went to sleep peacefullly thinking about him.
