The door swung open.

This time it wasn't Will

It was a girl, about 12 with short ginger hair and bright lime-green extensions

"Hi! You're Nico?" She asked

"Yeah..."

"I'm Kayla! Wills sister!" She said, beaming

"Oh...hi." Nico replied

"Will is busy with a patient right now so I'm going to be giving you a checkup. Ok?" She asked

"Um...ok."

"Great...so I see Will has filled in your details on the chart and... you're due for your next check up....now?" She asked

"I guess" Nico mumbled, raising an eyebrow at her

Kayla noticed this and rolled her eyes, "Will" she said "will be back in about twenty minutes."

"And why exactly couldn't this wait?" Nico asked, giving her a death glare, which made her shudder lightly

'Huh...I guess not all Apollo kids are unaffected to my death glares.' Nico thought

"Because apparently I need to" the rest came out in mumbles

"What?" Nico asked

"No need to be rude, kill joy" she said, smirking slightly at her joke, "Apparently the other patients were complaining about Will being partial too you and I haven't been in the infirmary in... a few... a year and a half... so I guess he thought I was able to handle a small job such as this." She explained

He nodded slowly as if he understood

But his mind was still wandering on the point that Will was being partial to him...

"Why?" He asked

"I just explained?" Kayla asked, sitting down on a chair

"No about Will...being partial...why would he, I mean." He asked

Kayla smirked, "He's...well... never done this, you know? Made one patient his priority.... He's trying to befriend you or something? He seems to have this, umm.... fascination with you." She said

Nico still looked confused

Kayla shook her head slowly, smirking wider, "Guess you're a favorite!!" She said finally, shrugging

"Okaaaayyy... so, what am I supposed to do now?" He asked

Kayla went into serious mode, "Well, Will said he'll check you're scars when he gets back...I'm just taking another general checkup! You've been medicating regularly?"

"I...am not on any medication?" Nico said

She looked at him, in a calculating way, "Really?" She asked, "Will also hasn't given you any?"

"No." He said

Kayla shrugged, "I'm supposed to take you're weight again."

Nico obliged and stepped onto the weighing scale

"Oh...okay....getting better I guess." She said, after checking the chart a few more times

After Kayla was done with the whole checkup schist, she turned back to Nico.

"Looks like everything is going....relatively normally, not to jinx anything but....you seem ok!" She said smiling.

Nico saw the way she beamed...he couldn't help but notice that their posture, when they smiled and the way their eyes squinted was very similar. Nico recalled that this was Will's sister on the godly side, and this made him wonder if he and Hazel...shared any such....traits.

Nico relaxed his shoulders, "Great. Thanks."

"HEY!" She exclaimed "You stopped being mean!" She said

"Don't push it" came another voice from outside. It was familiar and claiming and reminded Nico of soft rain on a sunny day

It was Will

'Will's voice sounds nice...I mean, he's Apollo's kid so...I guess I should have expected that' nico thought to himself

"Will!" Kayla said, "Finally!

"Well... he's not on his death bed...so you've improved!" He said to his sister, smirking

She stuck her tongue out at him.

And Nico noticed something else these two had I'm common

"PLEASE! One day I can be just and good as you...if not better!" Kayla retorted

Will sighed and rolled his eyes, "Wouldn't I like to see the day...."

Kayla rolled her eyes back, "okay byeee!" She said and she ran out

Will sighed again and chuckled

"She's a lost cause." He told Nico who smirked, "Yeah I sensed that."

Will smiled at him softly and caught himself staring 'shit shit fuck stop it Will!' He yelled at himself in his head 'what are you even doing? Get healing or something, you useless douchebag'

"So... are you're scars hurting?" Will asked

"No..." Nico replied

"Can i check them out?" Will asked, his eyes widened but Nico didn't seem to notice

"Um... sure." Nico replied

He slowly peeled off the black CHB t-shirt Will had given him and glared at the bandaging .

"Glaring at your scars ain't gonna make em go away, Death boy." Will teased, his long lost county accent slipping back a bit

Nico looked up to him, smirking, "You have an accent?" He asked

Will's eyes widened a little, he chucked nervously, "Did I do that again? My siblings say I do that sometimes... Was it weird?" He asked

"N-no, it was.... interesting... I guess." He said the corners of his mouth twitched upward

Will groaned, "okay okay, let's get back to the scars, Death boy!" He said with fake enthusiasm

"Solace?" He asked

"Yeah?" Will asked as he slowly unwrapped the bandaged

"Don't call me death boy, EVER again, or I behead you!" He said, death glaring, but Will seemed as unaffected as ever.

"Yeah, no thanks." He said smirking and he removed the last piece of bandage.

He looked up at Nico and smiled, "Almost better!" He said happily

Nico smiled back again, skeletal butterflies fluttering in his stomach yet again

I added Kayla!! Finally!!!

That was a lot longer than I thought it would be... but I'm glad!

I think I'll end this chapter here and say 3! Oh my gods! The final day!!!!

It will be here in 2 or if we go at the same amount of worlds, one more chapter!

I have this very particular scene in my head of Will he is healing Nico's scar and....

Anyways I'll definitely try to update sooner! I had my exams in the middle but I want to promise that I'm not giving up on this story anytime soon!!

P.S- the title of the solangelo book has released!!! THE SUN AND THR STAR!! At first I didn't know how I felt about it but it's so cute and reminds me of what Bob said at the end of Hoh!!! So now I officially love it! (Which is good because it's gonna be the name of the book anyways...)
