Rogers pov.

I was sitting on the steps to the boar hat tavern as I stared at the sky thinking about what we may encounter at the Necropolis. "Sir Rogers." I heard my name making me look over my shoulder to see Elizabeth and looking much better since she wasn't so beat up from before. She still had the bandage on her face though.

"Yes my lady?" I asked looking at her as she smiled.

"I was wondering something and hope you don't mind me asking about it." Elizabeth said before sitting next to me. I looked at her outfit shaking my head slightly.

"Why do you wear that uniform?" I asked as she looked down at herself before blushing.

"Sir Meliodas thought it would be good if I had on this outfit to help serve the patrons in the boar hat." She answered a bit embarrassed as she looked away with a blush.

"I like a bit of skin showing as well but that's a bit much." I sigh as she nodded. "So what did you want to ask?"

"Huh oh right." She straightened herself out while looking at me. "How can failure be a sin?" I looked down with sadness.

"By me failing to protect a lot of people I got them killed." I explain with sadness as the face of Andre appeared in front of me.

"Who did you feel to protect?" Elizabeth asked as I felt tears creeping into my vision.

"Her name was Andre. She was an amazing woman. Strong, caring, kind, and beautiful. I knew her for a year. The day she passed away was the day I met the seven sins." I started to cry as Andre's face showed her with a smile. I then felt arms wrap around me comforting me. I hugged back and cried into Elizabeth's shoulder. "I loved her."

"She's in a better place." Elizabeth said comforting me as I felt more and more tears.

"I never got to tell her that I loved her." I cry more before starting to slowly calm down. "I'm sorry about that I don't really talk about the past much."

"It's fine. Thank you for answering question." Elizabeth smiled kindly before getting up and walking back inside. I nodded as I then look back at the sky before hearing Ricos screams coming from inside.

"I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE GOD HIMSELF! I'LL CUT OFF YOUR DICK IF YOU TRY THAT AGAIN!" I heard Rico scream as I got up and walked inside to see that Rico was in her rider form threatening Meliodas.

"What happened?" I asked as I looked at everyone.

"THAT LITTLE PERV TRIED COPPING A FEEL!" Rico yelled as her flaming head went from red to black.

"I was just trying to get a size measurement." Meliodas said casually.

"Captain don't do that again please." I say as I rub my face.

"Okay okay." Meliodas said before Ban came down the steps.

"What's going on?" He asked staring at us. I saw blade was drinking some ale at the bar not caring. "Woah whose the hot head?" Rico growled before turning back into her human form.

"That is Autocylus. He, she, it is the reason you do not fuck with me." Rico explained before I watched Meliodas walk outside. We followed him to see the town closer to the Necropolis.

"This is Necropolis? It's not what I expected." Diane admitted as we stared at the broken down town.

"It's just the closet town nearest." Meliodas said as the giant pig stopped. "Alright team. We need to get the tavern up and running."

Timeskip.

After the giant pig set down Meliodas gave Ban the job of cooking, Diane the job to get customers, and Elizabeth despite her injuries wanted to do work herself so Meliodas had her just take it easy while serving. He was going to give Rico, Blade and I a job to do but he then noticed Ban had left. We all left to see him and King in his Fairy form fighting Ban. 2 kids were peaking around the corner of a house as we watched.

"Hey king." Meliodas said after scolding ban about just leaving work.

"That is not king." Ban said with annoyance.

"Hmm he must have lost weight." Meliodas said making me chuckle as Diane joined as smiling at him.

"It's good to see you king." Diane said happily as he floated away.

"That is not King." Ban said as we walked over to the kids as they stared at us. "You 2 come on." The 2 kids looked at one another and walked off with Ban, Rico, Diane, and Meliodas. I just stood there staring at an empty dirt field as I was thinking about Father Matt. I remembered the time he was teaching about the goddess clan when a giant tornado sucked me up and spit me out into a land with large emeralds.

"What in the fuck?" I say as I then saw father Matt. I went wide eye and rushed over to him just to have him disappear. "Father?!" I yelled looking around as I was wondering where I was. "Are you here father?!"

"Yes my child." I whipped around to see Father Matt standing there with a smile. "You have grown so much my son."

"Yeah thanks to you." I say before hugging happy to hold him once more. "I'm so sorry."

"What are you sorry for Rogers?" Father Matt asked me as I looked at him.

"I couldn't save them. I couldn't save anyone." I say crying as he hugs me more with a thin kind smile.

"My son. You did your best. No one can ask more of you. But you did save someone." He said as I pull back looking at him as I realized something.

"Wait if you're here then that means Andre is as well. Where is she?" I asked looking all around for him as he shook his head.

"Child I wish I could tell you everything you wish to know but you must find those answers for yourself. I can tell you this though." Father Matt said as I looked at him. "The living do not belong here. They may visit but not stay. Such was the same for your girlfriend." He said as I just stared at him confused. Before I could question more I saw an explosion a bit away. "You should probably go check that out."

"What's happening?" I asked looking back to where Father Matt was only to see he was gone. "Damn it." I sighed before pulling my shield off my back before rushing as fast as I could.

Narrator pov.

As Rogers arrived at the battle he saw a holy knight apprentice attacking Meliodas and Diane. He threw his shield at her making her stumble. "Hmmm you must be the eagle sin of failure Rogers Ryan. How ironic of a name." She watched the shield go flying back to Rogers right arm

"You know me. How about extending the courtesy and telling me your name?" Rogers said walking forward with no emotion. As he walked forward he rolled his shoulders getting ready for a fight.

"I am holy knight Guila." She said with the point of her rapier glowing orange before sending an explosion orb at him. He raised his shield making the orb explode in other directions away from him. "Hmm interesting. Your magical ability is reflect." She then sent another explosion before trying to flank him from his right. He threw his shield at her making Guila divert her attack.

"Yeah that's about my only magic ability." Rogers admitted as Guila kept trying to break his defense. After trading blows she hit him at his feet making him fly back.

"You are very interesting eagle sin of failure Rogers." Guila said walking towards him. He chuckled a hit while coughing up a bit of blood. "But I am better." She then went to strike as Ban appeared.

(Put rogers appearance in the battle right before ban uses snatch to keep guila from killing)

After king had joined the battle it was easily won. Rogers was limping slightly as he felt himself fading from the Necropolis realm appearing right where he was before. "Where the hell gave you been Cap?" He looked over to see Rico and blade staring at him. Rico had her hands on her hips as Blade had his arms crossed.

"Sorry was busy with something. So what did I miss?" Rogers asked as they stared at one another. He looked back just in time to see that Meliodas, Diane, Ban, King, Hawk, and Elizabeth had appeared before them.

Timeskip.

"So what you're saying is that king was working for the holy knights to kill Ban because he believed it was Ban who killed his sister?" Rogers asked making sure he had everything correct. Everyone was sitting next to a lake as King was talking about what happened when he was working with the holy knights.

"Yes." King answered as Rogers just shook his head and took a drink from a beer mug. "And it seems you're the only one who kept track of their sacred treasure."

"You know it fairy boy." Rogers said bit drunk. as he chuckled.

"Funny, speaking of funny hows that town you tried saving protecter." King said a bit bitter causing Rogers to glare at him. Rico looked between them confused as Blade didn't care and walked inside to grab more ale.

"Bring that up again and I'll cut off your dick while you're asleel." Rogers warned before burping slightly. "Scue me." King gulped slightly before turning to everyone.

"So where are your sacred treasures?"  king asked as they all answered.

"You sold yours, you got yours stolen and Diane misplaced hers." King said aggravated.

"What's so important about a sacred treasure?" Hawk asked as king then went into a really boring explanation. Rico sat at the edge of the lake away from everyone as she was thinking about what was coming.

"You okay Rico?" She jumped slightly as Blade sat down next to her and handed her a bottle.

"Fine Blade." She sighed a bit irritated at him scaring her. "Just thinking."

"Okay." Blade said as he drunk from his own bottle.

"I'm just thinking about what our captain isn't telling us." Rico started as he cracked his back.

"I don't remember asking what you were thinking, but okay." Blade said uninterested.

"Look I'm just saying how can we trust that these guys are even telling the truth about what happened?" She whispered to Blade as he looked over at her.

"We can't. Since day one of meeting Rogers I sensed great power in him. Something I never felt before. It was pure and old. Kinda like Elizabeths." Blade admitted as he emptied his bottle.

"What?" Rico asked confused as she looked back at Rogers to see him grinning from ear to ear before she saw Ban looking up at them.

"Come on. You can't tell me you don't feel that." Blade said before standing up himself. "It's time to go soon."

"What do you mean?" Rico asked confused as she stood up with him.

"Rogers and I talked awhile ago that if i felt i was needed somewhere else I would go. I know I'm needed somewhere else." Blade said staring at the sunset.

"You need some company?" Rico asked standing up as he scoffed before looking at her.

"Seriously?" He asked as she nodded. "Just go get ready. Cause we're leaving very soon."

"I'm ready are you?" Rico asked wrapping her chain around her torso.

"I was born ready motherfucka." Blade said making her chuckle. "Tell the captain." Rico nodded and looked at Rogers to see him and Ban giggling like school girls about something. She just shook her head and grabbed a note and burned a message on it before setting it inside the boar hat.

"See ya later Captain." Rico saluted before turning and walked away with blade from the seven as she looked at him with a smile.
