(In upcoming chapters there will be other POV too,in case you're bored with Aviva's POV)

We entered the Biology Lab. Bio's always been easy for us both. And, Jenna's an amazing Lab partner.

This reminded me of Last year, back when Kate used to be my Lab partner in chemistry. It's that one day that proved that she has absolutely no control over her temper. She literally threw the glass beakers while doing the Mohr's Salt experiment. She was just too annoyed after messing up at one of the steps.

Everyone, including me, was so scared of Kate at that time. No wonder that the examiner was shook as well. I tried to console her but she never listened to anyone except her volleyball team coach. I'm not even exaggerating, but everyone must have stood at least five feet away from her at that time, in case she broke someone's bone who came near her.

I don't know how but her volleyball team coach knew how to calm her down. So I called him and then he took her to the nurse room. Well she is having ADHD for years, so it makes sense that why her anger issues are so intense.

Coming back to the topic, in minutes, me and Jenna were done with our epidermis desection of leaf.
The bell rang while we were doing our regular talking. The day was going smooth so far and then it was finally recess.

I reached the canteen, already finding Max and Daniel sitting at our fixed table. They both are way too punctual. Soon Kate and Jenna arrived.

"Okay guys, as we all know, today's an important day ", Max announced in an alerting tone.

We all nodded, agreeing with him.

"I hope all of you remember the plan", I said." But, just for verification, I'm repeating.", I said, " Daniel, bring 5 torches and a hammer, in case we needed to break the lock of a door or something. Jenna, bring a few insect repellent sprays, since the place will obviously be full of worms and roaches and whatnot. Kate, you have to keep track of time and to make sure everyone gathers at the correct location. Max, get a packet or two of baking soda in case of a fire and if we need to set it off."

" How will baking soda set off a fire? ", Kate asked, confused. Her brain is always messed when it comes to chemical reactions.

" Because it produces carbon dioxide when it is thrown near fire ", Max replied. He didn't seem to pay a lot of attention, but, his face looked activated all of a sudden. Yeah, he is weird. Very weird.

" Yeah. ", I continued," Make sure all of you bring your phones and keep them fully charged. "

" And what are you going to do miss Aviva. ", Max said in an annoying and squeaky voice. He loves to irritate me.

" My job is to monitor everything ", I replied boldly. " And Kate, please be careful in the lab at that place. You know what happened last year. "

We all had our meals and then the bell rang. I reminded everyone that where and when we all were supposed to meet and then left for our classes.

Now was the time for the most miserable class of my life,
Mathematics.
Mr. Banner was an extremely strict teacher. I have tried to keep my record clean the entire year, because I don't want to loose my internal marks in the end.
I was on time when I stepped into my maths class. I went and sat at my fixed seat. After a few minutes Mr. Banner walked in and wrote 'surprise test' on the board.

Great.

"So,", said Mr. Banner, slightly smiling, "as all of you must have understood, get your pen and papers ready."
" But sir", said the nerd of the class," this test is for which-"
" Shhh. Stay silent and get ready for the test." Mr. Banner said, cutting of the student's statement.

I braced myself for the test. Then the worst thing happened. It was fine until he wrote this on the board:
Q1. Factorize 3x^4 + x^3 - 2x^2 + x + 2

Now that I knew that the test was for polynomials, I was even more frustrated. Math has generally been my weak point but to be much specific, polynomials have been my WEAKEST point. I just don't get the logic behind them.

Somehow, I successfully went through the first few questions, but then this one really weird question came that was only possible to be solved by the nerds of the class.

That's when the girl behind me whispered this in my ear, "Move a little bit left, I can't see your answer clearly."
"Have you being copying my answers all the time?" I asked her back.
"Yeah, so what?", she said as if it was a very normal thing.
"What if Mr. Banner caught you?"
"He must have already caught me about ten times earlier, so now it doesn't matter if he catches me. By the way move a little left so I can see your answer."

I didn't want to show her my answers because then we would get the same answers wrong and same answers correct and Mr. Banner would know. But my inner self was forcing me to let her copy. So I moved as she had said. But as soon as I turned back front I noticed Mr. Banner staring right at me.

"Miss Aviva" he said in a cold tone.
"Ye-ye-yes sir", I replied hesitatingly.
"Do you know what is the punishment for what you were doing right now?"
"No, sir"
"Congratulations", Mr. Banner said sarcastically, "you have been rewarded a hour and a half of detention."
"But sir-"
"Oh! A hour and a half weren't enough. Well, in that case, your reward has been increased to two hours."

Now I had a million things to worry about. This was the first time I was having detention. And obviously that meant I won't do so great in my internals. But the major issue over here was that I will not be able to reach to old house in time. I know everyone was going to be mad at me now.
Now that was when I realized that I made a mistake. I had given the task of making sure everyone comes at the place in time to Kate. She is very impatient and is obviously not going to wait for me. But I can't blame it on her anyways.

Now hope was my last chance.
