School was finished and the two siblings, Bart and Lisa soon slipped off, out of the building to go home that night. They were both eagerly chatting away to each other as they were excited to go home. They were both just laughing and making general chit-chat when Lisa brought up a subject that made her brother think.

They were both talking about the other kids at the school and that was when your name came up. "Bart, have you noticed, (y/n)?"

"Who? The girl with the (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes?" 

" Yeah, that's the one"

"Why? What's she done?" He asked.

 "Well I just noticed it today, she seems to looks at you, longingly, as if waiting for a chance"

 He blinked twice, flustered at the words spoken by his sister. "So? What of it?" He answered.

 " Well I think someone's got a bit of a crush" she smirked and laughed a bit, making him blush a little.

 "What does that matter? I fly solo" he said, trying to be cool as he slipped out a pair of sunglasses from his pocket and putting them on. They both had to talk more quietly as they were now on the school bus. He saw you at the seat across from him, staring out the window and took a quick glance at you. You felt someone looking at you and you looked to see who it was. Your face turned red when you saw it was your crush and you both quickly turned away.

 "Maybe you're right" he said.

" See? I don't know if she looks at you in class but I've definitely noticed some strange behaviour from her"

"Do you think she's a stalker?" He asked suddenly.

"Eww! No! She's just a girl with a crush. You should talk to her"

" I don't like her back though"

"How do you know if you've never communicated with her?"

" I...don't know"

"See?"

The brother and sister went back home for the night and so did you. You had had a crush on him for so long and you felt like nothing was ever going to change. You still hoped for a chance with him though.

the next day at school, as you both showed up for class, Bart wanted to know if his sister was right and so he tried to see if you were really dreaming about him and it seemed she had a point. One or two times your gaze quickly fell upon each other and you quickly looked away in embarrassment and he knew she was right. He was blushing a little after what he said about not liking you, because the more he saw you, he found you nicer and sweeter and did want to talk with you.

Lunchtime soon came and you were about to sit at a table with your friends, but then you saw Bart. "Hey, what's the rush? Don't you want to sit with me?" He offered. You couldn't believe your ears. "Sure" you shrugged with a weak smile and sat opposite to him at a table.

 "So, come here often?" He asked.

 " Uh...yeah? " you answered, thinking this was a weird question.

 "Have any plans for after school?" 

 "Well not really, I'm just gonna watch itchy and scratchy" you laughed as you thought of he cat and mouse duo.

 "Hey, that's my favourite!" He smiled.

 " Oh my gosh, mine too! " 

You both began recalling episodes and laughing and got to know each other and trading lunches. You felt your shame melting away and you really felt he liked you too.

The bell went off and it was time to go back to class, but he had one last thing he wanted to ask you. 

"So, you're just watching itchy and scratchy, right?"

" That's right " you smiled.

"How about watching with me at my house?" He grinned and have you a flirty look. You gasped in amazement and your heart was pounding. "I would love to!"

" Until tonight " he whispered as you both departed.
