Ancient stories tell of a gem
Quarried by tritons and mermaids
Underneath sea foam petticoat hem
And carved by artisan nereids
Magical turquoise best fortune tells
Alchemist best antidote stone
Romance potions and love spells
In times of war, builds a throne
Nature's finest pallet of blues and greens
Embossed in the surface of oceans and streams.
