Waiting
((Author's note: Well, hello my dearest readers. This one parallels two things, though I recommend up to the reader's interpretation I actually wanted to share that this particular poem comes from my personal life along with being highly inspired by the Netflix original series Sense8. From what I have seen on Tumblr and other blogging sites I thought this poem would be most fitting. Enjoy...))
I watch and wait as you sleep
In my bed or on my couch I hear not a peep
I see the low glow upon your face
The moon hitting it just right making hearts race.
Loving you is my weakest strength
Every time I see you my mind goes blank.
I get jealous watching you with him
Feeding you by hand making you grin.
I feel envious when your eyes shine with glee
When it seems you now look at him and not at me.
I turn my head and push them down
I feel my emotions know no bounds.
I wish I could give you a glimpse of what I'm thinking
And in return know the feelings you are feeling.
When surrounded by many you seem so alone but yet when you are alone the word itself doesn't seem to be so lonely.
To me you are a symphony
The burdens you hold seem heavy enough for three thousand people though I know you and you need to run and go.
You mustn't stay here, in my heart full of tears.
The way I see it is that the things we say are what come back to make us pay.
We were so young...we didn't know love was the gun but we pulled the trigger and were right, we thought we had it figured but I guess in spite of all going right we slipped up. Fucking up all the things we had, all we ever built. Our castle falling down my heart hurts, feel it pound at the sight of your face and the scent of you. I know no other luxury than to love you.
