{ DIARY ENTRY. day one }

Nothing is fun anymore. School is getting worse. No matter how hard I try to look at the positives, I'm drawn empty-handed. There are days I wish I would never wake up. I can't stand these people. I can't stand it, I can't stand it, I can't stand it. As soon as I get out of here, I will never look back. I will never look back. Not when I know the truth. What happens in highschool stays in highschool, right?

EXHIBIT A - "FRENEMIES?"

You're a student and that's about it. Club activities and bustling social life keep the world spinning, but there's much more to your school than meets the eye. The snickering jocks, the gossiping nerds, the judgemental punks; no matter the turn, there's always someone with something to say. Recently, there's been a nasty rumour circulating that's directed solely towards you. Your search for clues is endless, the instigator never seeming to pop up. In desperate times like these, you'd be willing to give your trust to anyone for some evidence. . .

Even your worst enemy.

EXHIBIT B - "STRICTLY IMPERSONAL"

- it's not personal, just business

Dating wasn't really your thing, but for the sake of keeping your reputation, faking it didn't sound too shabby. Protection from the scary stuff like blackmail and bullying was one thing, but status was the ultimate prize: a reason to feel validated (whether it be deceitful or not). Now the only thing needed was a suitable business partner, someone flexible but determined, someone. . . unexpected.
