Neil's Pov

I had to go to the police station i didn't want to go but it was necessary i had to punish that bastard... Then I went to home from there we all came to Mehta Mansion... When i was going towards Avni's Room i meet Amol bhaiya... He told me that elders had left the decision of Avni and my engagement on me and avni... I went to her room asked her about her health and did she took medicine and food... Then i told that we have to decide our engagement date... I want to choose an early date but I have to also see  Avni's health so i told her that we can do engagement after a month but she said she want to have engagement after two days... I asked her that she is sure or not... I mean she needs rest... But she said she is sure and my happiness beyond any level... She asked me i am okay or not... I am super duper okay... Then we both went down to tell our parents about this...

They both went down and told about their decision to everyone...They were happy with the decision... 

"Mom dad I want a simple Engagement... Avni hasn't healed completely and i don't want any problem..." Neil said he was concerned for Avni

"Yess I also want to do engagement in a simple manner," Avni said taking Neil's side

"See Neela jii, They aren't married yet and taking each other side..." Shweta said in a way to tease Avneil... 

"Haan Shweta jii..." Neela says...

"Stop Teasing my bacha's," Bebe says...

"Now we will take leave... " Prakash said while getting up...

"Arre... at least have dinner with us, "Ashish says...

"Next time surely samdhi jii... " Prakash says...

"Why not this time..." Neela says...

"Beema would have made dinner... and wasting food is wrong that's the reason," Shweta says...

"Ok next time for sure you will have food with us..." Ashish says...

"Sure... Bye " Prakash says and starts moving...

Neil goes towards Avni...

"Take care Avni... And do take medicine and food on time... and sleep on time... bye..." Neil says and bids Avni...

"Yes, I am here to take care of her..." Anjali comes there...

"Okay Bhabhi, Bye..." They bid each other

The other two days passed quickly... Mehta's were busy in preparation... This time they decided to have the engagement at Metha mansion... Avni was having a full-time rest she was not allowed to do anything... on the other hand, Neil was busy with his work as he had to take holiday for wedding functions so he had to complete all the work... Soon the engagement day came...

Engagement day...

"Amol have you talked to caterers..." Neela asked being highly stressed for the engagement 

"Yess Maa they will be here till 2:00 pm... You don't take stress i and dad will take responsibility for everything..." Amol answered and assured Neela that everything will be fine...  

"Yes Maa you come with me and select earpiece for Avni i am confused between two sets..." Anjali came and Asked Neela to come with her

" Yeah let's go... Amol please see hat they put flowers everywhere..." Neela went with Anjali but not before guiding Amol

Neela and Anjali went to Avni's room whereas Ashish and Amol made sure that all arrangement is proper...

"Anjali till when beautician will come..." Neela inquired

"Maa, she will be here at 1 o'clock " Anjali answers

They both reached to Avni's room...

" bhabhi are you here... Bhabhi till when I have to be like this" Avni asked being frustrated with the face mask...

"Just 10 mins more Avu then you are done and don't move or talk sit quietly," Anjali said and took out the jewels... 

Neela was happy to see this sister duo... Anjali filled the place of an elder sister in Avni's life...

"Maa which is better," Anjali asked showing two sets of earpiece...

"This one will, "Neela said pointing towards one of the set

"Now I am taking this mask out," Avni said while peeling out the mask...

"Arre wait let me do it," Anjali said and ran towards avni...

"Okay I am going down I can't leave the whole responsibility on the boys..." Neela told and went back to the hall

Anjali helped Avni and soon the beautician came... Time as passing rapidly...

It was around 5:00 pm and Avni was fully ready...

"Let me put Kala tika," Anjali said and put a black dot behind avni's ear

"Avni are you ready... The Khannas will be here till 6 " Neela said while coming inside the room

" Yes maa she is ready," Anjali said and move aside (she was in front of Avni)

" wow avni you're looking like a princess," Neela says and cares Avni's cheek

"Arre she is my Princess," Ashish says while coming in...

Avni hugs Ashish and Neela... Neela and Ashish both were getting emotional and Avni was sad...

"Everyone forgot me " Amol came while complaining

They shared a family hug...

"No one will get emotional... The makeup will get ruined " Anjali said while wiping her tears which came out without Anjali's permission

"See who is saying... The one how gets emotional fastly" Amol said while teasing Anjali and making others smile...

Anjali smacked Amol Arm...

"I will see you later," Anjali says...

"Bas Now let's go down they will come at any moment," Neela says and then all went down... Soon some close friends came

In no time Khanna's also came and Mehta's welcomed them in a royal way...

Amol made Neil sit on a sofa which was on a decorative stage... Anjali went to bring Avni...

While avni was coming down through stairs Neil got lost in avni...

Neil Pov

Finally, the engagement day came... Last two days were head aching days... I had to complete all my work had to make my team ready so that they can handle the situations in my absence... Today I took the half-day... I went home and got ready and then we all came to Mehta mansion... The while mansion was decorated with flowers and it was looking fabulous... We got in and they welcomed us in a very lovely way...Amol bhaiya took me to the stage where a sofa was fixed... The decoration of the sofa and stage is mind-blowing... Soon Neela maa asked Anjali bhabhi to bring Avni...

Wow... She was looking so beautiful... Just like a princess... She was not having heavy makeup... She was looking awesome... Soon I felt a tap on my shoulder

Amol tapped Neil's shoulder... Neil looked at Amol...

"Don't stare my sister she will be with you soon" Amol says making Neil little embarrassed

Soon Avni sat beside of Neil... Amol and Anjali brought the rings on a decorated plate...

First, avni slides the ring followed by Neil...

The whole hall was filled with happiness...

Suddenly all the lights went off...
