Seamen James Courtney and Michael Meehan died in a freak accident aboard the SS Watertown in 1924.

The next day, and through the remainder of the trip, crewman were in an uproar over seeing both man's faces in the waves, following the ship.

This photo was taken, and not even developed until the camera was taken to City Service Offices.
