4- Mr. FrenchFry and Ms. Burger
I hate mornings. Why can't I sleep till noon? Oh wait, that would make it a new morning. Poop that.
I got out of bed, and went into the bathroom. After doing my business, I went to brush my chocolate brown hair. I looked in the mirror, and realized I have never just looked at myself. I have brown hair, with eyes that change from a sunriseish green to a Bermuda water blue. I have a few freckles here and there, and a small tan. I think I'm kinda pretty.
I walked to my closet, to figure out what to wear. Me and the girls have a shopping trip planned for today, so I need to look presentable. I went through a few outfits, before finally choosing a white and black shirt with penguins on it, and a pair of Mudd shorts. I went back to the bathroom, as I forgot to put on deodorant, and then went to the kitchen for breakfast. I fixed some cereal in a coffee mug, the went to sit outside in the porch.
Today is a pretty day, but it's supposed to storm later tonight. While eating, I focused on this one baby bird. It couldn't fly, so it was stuck on the ground. I put down my cereal on the small outdoor coffee table, and went to the bird. I slowly wentover to it, humming a soft song, and scooped her up. I took her inside, hiding her from my parents and my older brother and sister. I went to my room and put her in my other birds' cage.
"Lindy, this is Opal. Be nice to her, ok?", I said quietly to my other baby bird. I found her too. I walked back outside to find my cereal.
"Mmm", I said, taking a bite of Lucky Charms. My favorite! I finished them up outside, then went back inside to put my dishes in the sink. Then I wentback to my room to get my purse and 150$. Allowance for three months. I stuck it in it's respectful spot- my wallet-, before riding my bike to Abby's house, where we would head to the mall from. I rested my bike on the side of the porch, and walked walked inside. It wasn't rude, seeing as we all did it. I dashed up to her room making sure to be quiet. I knocked five times, and I started.
"Do you wanna go shopping? Cmon lets go and shhhoooppp! I never see you anymore, come out the door, it's like you've gone away!", I sang. I would have continued, but she opened the door. Wow, I didn't know she could muster a glare like that. She normally laughs, somethings up. I'll ask her later.
"Hay hay Ab ayyyy",I said in a sing-song voice.
"You ready?"
"Yep, my bikes' out front"
"K, Dylan should be here any second"
"Ok"
We stood their in silence, somehow starting a game of 'The Quiet Game'. I always win. Just kidding, Abby normally does. After about thirty seconds, here comes Dylan!
"What are you guys- oohhhh", she says, before covering her mouth, joining the game. We all walked down to the front yard, grabbing our bikes. We all headed to the mall, not talking to each other. People would think that we were in a fight, the way we were staring at each other. Left, right, left, right, I peadled. We went at a steady pase. Then I started to go a little faster, having a plan. The girls caught up with me, so I went faster. Dylan started towards me, going as fast as she could. I pretended to go as fast as I could, making sure I was behind her. We have arived.
"I win!", Dylan said, forgetting our game.
"Your out!", Abby said, also forgetting she was playing.
"That means I win!", I said victoriously. Abby pretended to pout.
"Bu- but- but that means I lose", she sobbed. I patted her back.
"It's ok. But since Dylan lost, she has to buy you a smoothie at the snack bar!", I practically yelled, running inside. I ran to the mall directory. After a quick glance, I ran up the escalator. But I wasn't getting anywhere. So I went to the escalator that went up. That helped. I ran to the snack bar, and sat down. I played Candy Crush on my phone until the girls caught up with me. For real, I'm not that fast.
"First, let's go to Abercrombie and Fitch!", Dylan said.
"Ok", I replied, looping my arms with Abby and Dylan. We all skipped off into the land that is shopping.
*Two hours later*
"I need lunch", I moaned, clutching my tummy.
"To the Snack Bar", Dylan announced.
"You still owe me a smoothie", Abby said.
"Do not"
"Do too"
"Not"
"Do"
"Nope"
"Yep"
"No"
"Yes"
"Nuh uh"
"Ya huh"
"You kinda do", I butted in.
"Ugghhhh fffiinnneeee", Dylan complained. Abby and I smirked. We walked off, me taking the lead, followed by two girls making faces at each other.
"A hamburger with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. Then a order of medium fries, and a sweet tea please.", I said to the worker at the snack bar. I went to sit down, remembering the number 45. I waited all of three hours. Just kidding! Two minutes. Then I sat down to eat. But Dylan hadn't got her food yet, so I decided to use this to my advantage.
"Hello, my name is Mr. French Fry, and you are", I said a deep voice, picking up a fry.
"I'm Ms.Burger, nice to meet you", I said in a high voice, grabbing my burger. Abby got her phone and recorded it.
"Watch out for the monster, miss, I wouldn't want you to get eaten", Mr. Frenchfry said.
"What monst-", Ms. Burger started, before I took a chomp out of her. It. Whatever it is!
Then I ate Mr. FrenchFry.
So much for that.
Then Dylan's food came, along with the Smoothie that was promised. Abby took one sip before spitting it out.
"Dylan! You know I don't like blueberry!", Abby yelled, before whacking her playfully.
"What? I could have sworn I had ordered Strawberry!, she replied, holding back a smile.
I looked over to see Abby's reaction, but instead looking over her shoulder. What was Daniel doing looking at me?
