Michelle walked along the streets of Paris with a smile on his face. He has a lot to think about so a calming walking around his city is just what he needed.

"My lord, it is good to see you.", Michelle stops walking to turn to the voice calling him.

He sees Kage in front of a flower shop with a bouquet in his hands. Kage walks up to him and hands the bouquet to him gently.

The bouquet now in Michelle hands, Kage takes the time to move a stray hair from Michelle's face. Kage is in full concentration as he unconsciously flushes.

Michelle feels his lips tremble as he fights back a sound. He tightens his hold on the bouquet.

"Ah... *cough* My Sword.....what brings you here?", asked Michelle with bright red cheeks.

Kage looks into Michelle's eyes as he tries to hide behind the flowers.

"I wanted to make my monthly tribute, My Lord.", Kage said as he kissed Michelle's hand.

Michelle looks a way, still hiding the lower half of his face. Kage lets out a twitch in body language.

"Well, I've made my tribute as usual, I will call you....", Kage straightens himself out, "tonight....My Lord."

Michelle says nothing as Kage slowly walks a way, not one to look back.

"With love.", a ghost of a whisper leaves Michelle's lips once he reads the note in the bouquet.

It's Kage's birthday. Kage wanted a small party solely for the people most important to him.

"Son, I trust you can earn a place by his side.", his father's hand is firmly on his shoulder.

His father truly believed in him. This display of affection had only been possible because of the one he adored.

Soon enough, the party started and he greeted his guests. He wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of his birthday with him.

Alas, there were several interruptions to his plan. The "daughter figure" of his crush would often be by his crush's side and his other guests and family members wanted to talk with him.

Eventually became nine 'o clock and he retreated to a balcony tired and frustrated. He needed to rethink his plan.

"Hello.... My sword.", the sound of Michelle's voice came behind him.

He turned to see Michelle close the door behind him as he smiles. His hands hidden from view. Michelle walks closer.

Kage leans back in an attempt to puff out his chest and seem calm as always. He hides his fluttering heart and flushed cheeks by averting his eyes.

"My Lord, thank you again for attending my birthday party. I know you are particularly busy this week.", he said.

Michelle let out a hum and stepped close enough into Kage's personal space to lean slightly forward.

"I won't miss it for the world.", he chirped.

"Unless it involves Ariel.", Kage deflected; feeling a pressure in his heart and his throat.

Michelle felt a slight frown tug at his lips and moved to beside Kage. He turned to look at the stars starting to peak out.

"Raising a child takes devotion.", he replied.

Kage nothing more and continued to glance Michelle's way. His own not giving much away other then the redness of his face.

Michelle turns to him then and looks down. Kage faces him with his full attention.

Michelle broken into a smile with an incredibly flushed face.

He speaks; his words barely audible, "Kage.... Kage this is... for you. I....well... hm....here!"

Michelle hastily shoves the small box into Kage's hands. He only pauses for a second to enjoy the warmth of his hands before retracting them.

Michelle looks a way as his smile widens. He hid his hands once more. Kage looks into his gift; a pair of red earrings.

"It's red jade and red garnet with gold accents! I know it's probably the least amazing gift you've ever gotten but, uh, I wanted to give you some that really means to me, I mean, well, I kind of wanted to give you something to remember me- I mean you! Remember you- no not- I- I mean-", Michelle began to ramble nervously, "I want you to think about me all the time! Not like in a weird way no! I just"

Kage quietly cupped Michelle's cheek and looked softly into his eyes as he has always wanted to. Michelle's words die as he bites his lip with a whimper.

"My Lord... save me. I beseech you. I beg and plead with you. Grant my wish.", Kage lightly chants.

With closed eyes, Kage kisses Michelle in the quiet moon light. He leans in giving him the warmth he craved.

Michelle opens his eyes in a daze only to meet Kage's and panics. He slips out of his embrace with a tremble.

Kage stills with wide eyes, his mask is broken. He sees the overwhelming love in his shy eyes. Michelle tears up, frightened by the shear volume and covers his mouth. His lips an open smile wanting to speak.

Michelle runs a way, leaving Kage to stare at the earrings in his hands. Eventually he puts them on.

It's been two weeks since they shared their first kiss. Although they both acknowledge the kiss on occasion, Michelle has no intention of ending their dance.

Even if he wants nothing more than to dance a different tune; at least they've changed up the routine to involve feather light kisses; be it on the hand, cheek, forehead, and nape.

"Hello Kage! Here to pick up Ariel?", Michelle said.

Kage says nothing as their arms tap around each other into a hug. Michelle lays his head on Kage's chest.

"Yes, will you be joining us?", questioned Kage.

Michelle rubbed his face into Kage's chest 'No' before pressing a kiss into it. Michelle looked up startled, realizing what he's done.

Kage looks into his eyes and gently squeezed him with a smile. He nodded that it was okay.

Michelle fluttered with a crooked grin.

This is getting long so I will put this in an outline format.

Gertrude takes a notebook full of Michelle's designs for a commission to make him get anxious enough to be akumatize.She wanted him to blame Loyde but surprisingly, he didn't think Loyde did it.Loyde was so confused by this, he stayed quiet.Frustrated, Gertrude tried to scare him into thinking the notebook was ripped up by tearing some paper up and leaving them where she found the notebook.

Blah blah blah Gertrude gives up and tries to get Kage heart broken by making him think Michelle threw his monthly tribute in the trash by actually throwing them in the trash.Kage does not believe Michelle did it, it was out in the open where anyone could touch it.Gertrude finally decides making Kage mad at someone else is a better idea so she blah blah blah I don't know.Oh! Michelle was on the verge of confessing when he saw Ariel's defeated expression.This helped lead Kage to feel hurt.MadameMoth uses a design from Michelle's notebook for the akuma.Kage terrorizes Paris after kidnapping Michelle and leave him in a space protected and sealed.Michelle leaves his hair clips to Aliyah.

(By the way, MadameMoth is a better designer than Hawkmoth, but can't come up with names at all)

Aka Tatsu (Akuma Kage/ Red Dragon) comes to visit Michelle often and even presents new clothes as his new tribute.Amber beetle (ladybug/ Aliyah) and Onyx Knight (ChatNoir/ Ariel) don't know what to do.No matter what they try, it's not working.Eventually Michelle comes up with a plan and they hide and wait.Aka Tatsu comes to see Michelle one last time.

Having the pressure of the world's fate in on his shoulders is not new to him, but to do so as a civilian was a new and more terrifying feeling.

What's worse is that he has to face some one dear to him.

He stands still with his head low, he hears Aka Tatsu's foot steps getting closer. He hopes his plan works.

Aka Tatsu is smiling as he takes him into his arms. He moves his arms to hug him back for a moment.

"How are you my lord? Don't worry, soon the world is yours.", he said.

Aka Tatsu steps back when Michelle didn't answer him. He could barely hear what Michelle was mumbling.

"What?", asked Aka Tatsu.

Michelle paused for a moment, "it's go time", he thought.

He lifted his head and revealed to have dead eyes with a miserable expression.

"I will go on a date with you just like you wanted.", he said a little more clearly.

Aka Tatsu took another step back, confusion covering his face.

"I will be yours, you have conquered me. I'll even let her go. So please, don't hurt Ariel.", he let a quiet tear fall.

A horrible realization dawned on him. He violent shook his head and nonsensical sound came from his panicked denial.

Aka Tatsu grabbed Michelle's shoulders as he tried to explain himself. He reared back from Michelle's reaction of closing his eyes and turning a way.

Aka Tatsu held his hands up in a show of peace.

"My lord! I would never! No one could replace her! She means everything to you! No loves her as much as you do! I would never make you choose me over her! Michelle.... I don't want conquer you! You are not something! To be conquered! I-I....I.....", Aka Tatsu stopped.

What happened next was not in the plan. He was very surprised.

Aka Tatsu gave Michelle his akumatized object. Michelle looked at him in shock.

"I have been a fool. I don't... deserve your forgiveness, but I want you to know...I'm sorry.", he said softly.

Aka Tatsu knelt before him and accepted defeat. Amber Beatle and Onyx Knight were already laying in wait so they came out of hiding.

Once again outline time.

Michelle kneeled in front of Kage after the akuma was purified.Amber Beatle and Onyx Knight gave them privacy.They kiss as an official couple for the first time.Michelle said Madamemoth plagiarized his design to Ariel.He had told the commissioner his design notebook was missing.Gertrude later stupidly was found to have the notebook in her office after trying to pass a different design off as hers.Just because she erased the name Michelle from the design doesn't mean there wasn't another identifying feature on it.It didn't help that Michelle had legal claim on the designs.The claims office had photo copies of the designs with Michelle's name.What's more is that the commissioner had photos of the designs Michelle shared which included the one for Kage's akuma form.Gertrude was tried and sent to jail, the lawyers couldn't fight solid evidence.Ariel (as Onyx Knight) slipped the miraculous away from her mother and Neilan gave up without a fuss.

Ariel lives with her father now, in a different house, much smaller and warmer.Michelle and Kage are now going steady.
