"Goodluck in your Cookery subject though." The light elemental said, winking afterwards.

The nature elemental smiled widely. "Thanks Solar! You too! See ya later!~" He cheerfully said, bidding his farewell to his best friend and went to his respective SPECS class.

After a while, the moment Duri entered his classroom, he suddenly realized something.

"Oh no! I forgot my notebook! I'm so doomed if I won't get it fast before the class starts." He panicked, quickly rushing out of his class and went to where his locker is to get his notebook.

'Calm down, calm down, calm down, Duri. Just get the notebook and everything will be okay...' He thought as he kept running to where his locker is located with his eyes shut and his mind repeatedly saying his thoughts.

Too preoccupied with his thoughts, he didn't noticed someone was already infront of him and accidentally bumped to that person, which resulted both of them to fall on the ground with a loud thud.

The leaf element groaned and sat up. "S-Sorry..." He murmured.

"I-It's fine." The person said and looked up to where he just bumped with, making his eyebrows furrowed with his head slightly tilted. "Duri?"

The green-eyed boy reluctantly faced the person, his face was slightly surprised seeing the infront of him. "Taufan...?"

"Hey! How are ya?" The wind elemental cheerfully asked, grinning. Duri smiled.

"Good. You?"

"Well...fine, I guess...?"

"Hey, you're in Cookery too, right?" Taufan asked, earning a nod from the nature element.

"Cool!" The cyan blue-eyed boy exclaimed, standing up from the ground. "Let's go to class together?" He asked, offering his hand for Duri to stand up from the ground while smiling.

Duri's smile widened as he willingly accepted his hand, getting up from the ground. "Okay! But, wait! I still have to get my notebook quick!" He said and was about to run to his locker when Taufan spoke up.

"Hey Duri, we still have ten minutes. You don't need to rush too much..." The wind element stated, looking at his watch then shoved his hand on the pocket of his pants.

"Oh, really?" Duri asked, his face frowned slightly in confusion.

"Yeah!" Taufan replied, laughing softly afterwards. "How about I come with you to go to your locker then let's go to our SPECS class together? Since, we still have time." He suggested, shrugging.

"That'll be a great idea!" The leaf element said with enthusiasm.

Both Taufan and Duri then walked to the leaf manipulator's locker while having fun talking with one another as if they're talking about a topic wherein both of them are interested at. Topics like their favorite hobbies, foods, places to go, and many more. Although their best friends are actually rivals with each other, we can say that these two are very much different from the famous duos.

As the two innocent boys are chatting with each other, it was very peaceful. No arguments, no bickers, no trash talks, no rude comments nor even calling each other pet names. They just happened to be having a conversation in a normal way, unlike their popular friends.

"That's cool! Can you teach me how to use a skateboard someday?" Duri asked, his ever-bright smile widened, same goes to his forest-green eyes.

"Of course! And in return, can you help me with our recent lesson which is about Botany? I'm kind of confused with this lesson honestly..." Taufan said, laughing nervously while scratching the back of his head in embarrassment.

"Ah, don't worry! I'll help you with it!-"

"THAT'S IT!"

The two boys got startled at the sudden shout from someone, making them turn their heads to the direction where the noise occurred. Their eyebrows furrowed in confusion as the sound actually took place inside the class of the SPECS subject, Electrical. Curiously, they quietly took a quick peek through the glass window to see all the commotion happening inside.

Then, silence filled the room when their student government president, Gempa stepped in the classroom. The whole atmosphere just became frightening and intense for the popular rivals as Duri and Taufan noticed them already trembling in fear because of Gempa's presence. The two boys felt bad since their friends got caught fighting again by Gempa and they'll surely be punished for good.

Worried, the two boys then looked at each other and planned something to save their best friends. But, it takes for them to also sacrifice their selves for their plan. Nevertheless, they both agreed with their plan.

The leaf and the wind elemental then started their plan and went to the doorway of the classroom. They planned to lie to Gempa so they'll get the blame instead of their friends. They honestly didn't want this, but they also didn't want their friends to get into trouble again, or worst.

In no time, Taufan was the first one who spoke up. "Oh, Gempa! Sorry 'bout that. Me and Duri just created a dare for them to fight, but just in a playful manner." He said, while forcing a cheery smile.

"Oh, I see..." Gempa said, facing at Taufan and Duri. "Then, I guess it's not a surprise at all that both of you will get detention for the first time for violating a rule of starting a chaos in the middle of the class hours and also for taking control of your own schoolmates." He stated, his shoulders shrugging afterwards.

Both of the two innocent boys was a bit surprised and at the same time, relieved that they successfully made Gempa fell for the lie they created. But, unfortunately for the both of them, they got their selves a detention, even though they're actually innocent on this case. But in the end, they still managed to save their best friends. These two are definitely what can we describe as angels.

"It's okay. It's our fault anyway. We take the blame. We deserved it." Duri said, cracking a smile.

Gempa sighed deeply. "I hope you two won't do it again since, I know you two are good and obedient students I knew here."

"Well, at least I won't be getting yelled at our Cookery teacher just because I have incomplete materials..." The nature manipulator said, looking out at the window with his lips pursed. "It's better if I get detention instead of crying my heart out since I couldn't handle my emotions from what our teacher's talking about me..."

"Don't think you're alone in this, Duri." The cyan blue-eyed elemental responded, sitting next to Duri while his cerulean blue eyes also gazing outside through the window. "Our Cookery teacher kind of...hates me, for being all clumsy and crazy but, I got used to it, even though her painful words hurt deep inside." He stated, mumbling the last few words in the end.

"Hey Taufan...?" The leaf elemental called, turning his head to face his detention buddy beside him. The wind elemental hummed in question as a response, his head slightly tilted but also facing the leaf element.

"I haven't thanked you yet for doing that...plan we did a while ago just to save my friend-" Duri was cut off by Taufan by interrupting him.

"Ops! Correction: Our friends." Taufan rectified, curving a small smile afterwards.

"Right." Duri chuckled lightly. "Thanks Taufan." He said, smiling warmly.

The wind elemental smiled back. "Well basically, if it wasn't for you to actually agree with the plan, then we might or won't be saving our friends from our scary student government president." He stated, giggling softly at the last few words he'd said.

After a brief moments of talking with one another, a few knocks were created from the door, making the two detention buddies startled and got interrupted with their tranquil conversation. The door then was swung widely open, revealing the two famous rivals from the doorway. The two innocent boys grinned, waving their hands at their best friends.

"Hali!"

"Solar!"

Halilintar and Solar sighed deeply as they made their way towards their close friends, the latter surprising them by tackling them to a warm, bear hug.

"Get...off...me...Taufan...!" The lightning elemental grumbled, trying his best to pull his friend away from the hug but to no avail.

"Nope! I deserve a huge hug after making me sacrifice myself into your own mess!" His carefree friend said, tightening the hug more.

"You... were... the... one... who.. involved... yourself.... into.... my.... mess...!"

"Still! I deserve this hug!"

"Tau...fan...!!!"

"Duri, you alright?" Solar asked, gently returning the hug from Duri.

"I'm okay!" The leaf element replied, a genuine smile plastered on his face.

The light element sighed sadly. "Duri, you know you don't deserve this..." He said, tearing up from the hug then faced his friend gloomily. "I don't even want you to be here too..."

"Solar, it's my choice." Duri stated. "It's my choice to save you rather than regretting myself for just letting you get punished by Gempa." He softly said, smiling sadly. "Besides, it's what friends for, right? Being there for your friends when they're having or encountering problems?" He added.

One thing's for sure: Solar's so lucky to have Duri as his best friend, just as Halilintar's also lucky to have a best friend like Taufan. Both of the rivals are certainly fortunate to have friends who are there for them, who cares for them and also, wholeheartedly accepts them. And surely, they won't let anyone hurt their friends or else they'll have a taste of Halilintar's thunderblade or Solar's powerful blast.
