"Hey! I bet I can hunt better than you!" Winterkit suddenly burst out, startling Silverkit and making her fall back.

"But we don't even hunt?" Silverkit said, more of a question than answer.

"Yeah, but we can practice." Winterkit smirked.

Silverkit smiled and crouched down, focusing on a leaf. "You're on!"

Winterkit leaped into the air and landed squarely on the leaf. "Hah! Beat that!"

Silverkit stared, shocked, at how skilled he already was. I can't beat that! She thought.

She gulped and got into a crouch as Winterkit stepped off the leaf.

She jumped clumsily into the air and stumbled when she landed, but managed to stand up strait.

"I'm so much mo-" She started, but stopped when she turned around to see she had missed the leaf by far. "..re better than you..." Her ears flattened in embarrassment.

Winterkit snickerd as Silverkit padded over to the Freshkill pile.

"Well, I'm gonna get some fo-Ow!" She said over her shoulder, but had padded right into Aquamist.

"I'm so sorry!" Aquamist said as she got up.

"It's fine. It was my fault for not watching where I was going.." Silverkit said, glaring at Winterkit, who was trying his hardest not to laugh.

Aquamist only gave a short not and looked around. "Say, you want to help me put away some herbs?"

Silverkit smiled. That sounded so much more fun than jumping at leaves. "Sure!"

Aquamist chuckled at her enthusiasm and led her towards the Medicine Cat den.

"What's this one?" Silverkit asked, holding a small seed in her paw.

Aquamist padded over and looked at the seed. "Ah, that's a poppy seed! They help cats with shock, and they help them sleep." She said.

"Cool!" She turned to a small pile of blue berries. "Are those..Junip..Juniper berries?" She asked.

Aquamist looked at her strangely. "How..How did you know that?"

Silverkit shrugged and started putting the berries with a larger pile in the back of the cave.

She looked back to Aquamist and smiled before starting to sort a pile of leaves out.

She could sense Aquamist watching her sort them by texture and looks.

"Okay.. there!" Silverkit said, stepping back.

Aquamist's eye seemed to twitch as she realized each herb was in the correct pile. "I'm gonna go get a mouse with Winterkit, see you later! Silverkit called and dashed from the den.
