Moon was holding hands. She skipped along where the hands took her. Then she looked up to see a man with hair white as snow and a woman with hair a stormy gray. They both had her eyes. "Mom? Dad?" Moon asked. "Yes my little Silvermoon?" the woman answered. "Why are we starting to run?" There was a rustle in one tree. A dart flew past Moon. The man turned around. People wearing black holding knifes, daggers, guns, and bows emerged from the trees all around them. "Run as fast as the wind and never turn back. Remember we will always be in your spirit," he said. They hugged her one last time and turned into wolves. One was as white as snow and the other as gray as a storm. She watched them claw at people's faces and snap their necks. They fought viciously as one. She couldn't run away without helping them. They would die. There were too many.

A dart found its mark into her dad's back. Moon cried in despair as she watched his body slump and go limp on the cold, icy ground. Moon turns around to see a knife into her mom's chest. She howls as loud as she can. After Moon looked at the lifeless bodies of her parents, she charged. She came over to a hunter and snapped his neck watching him fall over. She lashed out at another's face. Moon ran as fast as the wind. She jumped from tree to tree.

She stopped. Did she smell fire? Moon ran to her house and saw it in flames. She went into the house to she if her sister had survived. A block of wood on fire smashed on her face. She screamed and threw it off.

Then she her a whimpering that sound like her sister. "Is that you Moon?" asked the young wolf shakily. "It's me Bitterblue. Quickly on my back!" Moon ordered. Bitterblue got on her back and they bounded into the forest. They found the spot where their parents died. They made graves for the bodies and put wildflowers by them.

Bitterblue was huddled in a ball crying and in unison they whispered,"Mom...Dad...." She felt herself lift into consciousness. The swirling image around her faded into darkness.

I know this was a little short, but I didnt have much else for this chapter. I dont know when I'll start on the next. Hopefully soon!- Grace_of_Mind
