Restless was their bones

Another night terror awakens Serena.
Dusty becomes concerned, as this is happening more often than not.

Serena proclaims she was a nurse, and was worried her friends all died!
She cannot remember last names, but did recall May.

Awake all night the morning of August 7th was foggy in the cove. A cross between fighting spring and darkening winter holding out. Some birds chirped with hesitation. Trees moved still, but bent to the fog.
The two wolves were seen in a distance. Their grey eyes were brighter than the light amidst the hovering murk.

Dusty, disturbed drank more coffee than usual. The married couple had, had enough of the screams at night. Restless was their bones, an ache lingered in their minds and fright of truths gone by plagued their daily routines.

Same routines occurred this morning as Dusty played light with Silver and Shawn. Serena prepared breakfast and tried easing her mind with soothing reiki music. The sounds travelled through the home as though a soft whisper of what calmness could be. If called upon that is.

Serena made her way with the twins into town.
Dusty was dropped off at the hospital, and he kissed his wife with meaningful intent, wishing her the most relaxed day.

Lots of accidents due to the haze that captured the cove. It wasn't letting up. The hospital ER was consistently packed.

Serena decided to take the long route, in hopes of getting the children to fall asleep. They too were wrestling restlessly.
Passing the original cove landing, Serena was slightly delighted to see Della and her husband Mark driving by.
Serena waved. They frowned and continued driving.

Serena arrived at the Casper Cove Credit Union and as she was about to unpack the children, she seen that they both had drifted to sleep.
At last, they could have some peace on this long morning.
She decided to leave the children asleep in the car, as she would only be a few minutes within the bank.

Small talk ensued between Helen Tao the teller and Serena whom explained that it's been quite the morning in her household. Helen was polite and also pitiful towards the wayward woman. Twelve minutes laster and Serena returned to her car. Quickly eyeing the car seats, she rubbed her brow and then made her way back home.

Regular route this time, as her tiredness had settled in. The reiki music had done the trick.
A quick stop at the grocery store, and then straight home.

Serena unpacked her groceries, and could hear the phone ringing within the house. Without thinking she simply made her way inside. She took the call from Ronnie her store manager and learned she would have a cover shift tomorrow. He encouraged rest, and so she did.

After a tremendously long shift, Dusty came home and crawled into bed with his wife.

The house was silent.
The softness of the music continued to play.
The fog got heavier!
