Keepsakes of the past

Clear blue sky, not even a drift of wind.
A silent echo could be heard of the animals of water and land.
People float by on their canoes. Children play alongside the space designed for fun.
Dusty holds his son high in the air to celebrate his second birthday.

Bower has opened his home to his best friend and his family. The Arbors swiftly left Casper Cove due to the extreme lack of safety of the town against poor Serena.

New town, new friends and a new life to live!

Jack arrives and brings his family.
Ben and Jane arrive together and hug their friend Bower.
Serena comes out of the house with all sorts of baked goodies, and as she places them down she takes notice of Ben Dawn.

Making her way over to the friend group, she asks why Ben was so convinced she didn't do what everyone believed?
Ben states that he believes her mind has been compromised and all because of trauma from her past.
To which Serena clues in on the fact that she did somehow know Ben.

But before she can get those words out, Ronnie her old boss arrives with his wife. They instantly rush to hug Serena.
No other Arbors dared to see Dusty and his little wayward again.

Serena steps back and feels the shine from an ever beating sun. It flows right through her. Picking up her camera she takes a couple shots of the crowd that came to show their love for her baby boy.

People across Connor's Island believe she got away with murder.
The evidence was misleading.
The officer was crooked!

A submission to subpoena Della & Mark for charges was in the works. Dusty was suing his family for emotional damages. He plans to bankrupt them from their glorious pedestal in Casper Cove!

Serena makes her way inside to look for her keepsake box. She wanted to be sure it wasn't lost with the move.
Shawn has his own room, and this baby Wolfe's room his mother would keep all her precious moments together.
Her keepsake was there on dresser top.

Serena places the photo in the box.

A knock on the bedroom door startles her and she turns round. Dusty comes in and hugs his beloved wife, kisses her on the cheek and says you have a visitor.
With a cute expression she wonders whom it could be. Dusty tells her to take all the time she needs.

Sean Litchfield walks in, and a flood of memory tantalized her whole being! The mall murders her ex boyfriend, the one love of her life.

He hugs her and says he understands all the memories, all the lost time and he can't explain any of it. He does say that he too has experienced a flowing wrath of woe since the Melee Murderer.

Serena is speechless and caught up in yet another dream!

Sean looks at the photos in the box.
He pauses and looks at her and says
"It'll be in the dreams that our realities come to life. It'll be these memories captured in time that define truths"

He places the photo in hand down on the dresser, and walks her out back to the birthday picnic.

Looking closer at the photo a passer by would notice the moment in time Serena sat in horror next to Silver's crib.
It's not her tears that capture a wandering eye.

Instead it would be the mud etched on her slippers lying next to the crib!
