Gathering of Wolves
It's the fourth ninth day in the trial of Serena Arbor.
Headlines rage the wayward witch coughed up a dream, this dream led to her murdering her eleventh month old daughter.
On this morning two wolves appeared again as though some sort of sign.
Serena stared at them in awe. A light glaze of grey shimmered amongst the lingering mist freshly sprinkled by mother natures delight.
Reporter Ben Dawn from Connors Island City was the main developer of story for the LEW. His take on the matter was slightly adrift from the town folk of Casper Cove.
He too felt the wetness in the air as he closes the door to his motel. Very few people were around the sold out motel. They all had ventured into the Cove's Main Street in hopes to catch a glimpse of the child killer.
Ben went to his Sedan parked solely along the rock wall siding of the motel. He paused as captured a scent he was both familiar with and yet also afraid of unknowingly.
Grass cut fresh, the landscape pruned for perfection. Pristine as he sat there willingly noticing Ben approaching his BMW. A sun yellow eyed wolf. Alone, alert and taken a back by the reporter as though he was the only human in the world!
An eerie rush slithered down his spine as Ben could feel the hairs on his arm stand up. The same feeling he once had when he met Lago.
The wolf wasn't moving.
He simply laid there attentive to Ben's presence. The silver coat almost sang a song convincing Ben that he was on the right path with this murder trial.
An expert forensic scientist arrived at the courthouse, Jane Hoven from the Savage Garden Keys was flown in on behalf of the defence.
Ben greeted her and the two shook hands. They've known each other for sometime, and it was evident.
How Jack Sky got in touch with someone of this calibre would remain a mystery. The silent friendship of Jane and Ben also would remain close knit.
Jack calls Dr. Hoven to the stand, and she sings Silvers true tale of woe.
" I deduce that baby Silver was likely still alive when her little tool shaped design was found and examined by the local unhinged coroner. It would be my belief that Officer Zokowski wrongly pronounced baby Silver dead!
Zokowski held and then placed baby Silver into the damp grass and intrusive mud that thickened with the cold of fog for three hours due to crime scene investigations.
I am to believe the baby girl died in the body bag enroute to the coroners office!
(Gasps from the jury)
Silver Arbor died of hypothermia and based on the temperature of her body, baby Silver hadn't been there for very long much less overnight.
In conclusion ( says Jack Sky)
The defence will rest on the near proven fact that this was a scare tactic gone wrong by Della & Mark against Serena Arbor!
