Dreams

"All night you lie with me, a comforting Angel.
Dream a little dream with me.
Walk with me! Be one with me. See the shine in thee!
Lilith & Lago.
Lilith & Lago.
Dream a little dream of we; Rise, Rise become me!"

Serena awakes her hair damp, her sweat pours off her face and the sheets soaked of nightmares!

Dusty awakes and feels the wetness. He immediately gets up to assist Serena in anyway he could.
She seen the sadness in his face as he worries for her mentality of everything she has endured.

August has come and Serena is about had enough of the town folk treating her as a human punching bag.
The Arbors basically have taken the children near everyday. Silver & Shawns first birthday was a festival of its own.

Another night, the night before the birthday party. Another terror captures her memory this time of the theme park where she almost died! She could see her friend, yet this friend in Jeff looked like another Jeff the characters were switched.
The bartender was being dragged across the park floor, while the other Jeff grinned ear to ear with blood curdling from the depth of a knife on a cliff!

Dusty pours her some tea on this night and holds her hand as Serena could not stop shaking.
"I think these things happened Dusty? I knew two Jeff's!
So much death!"

Dusty's mother presents Silver with her very own passed down Baptism gown. The gown was also worn by Della and now the newest female prodigy would don the garment.

As the birthday party continues, a priest appears and wishes to baptize on the special occasion for all to be part of.
Serena gives the go ahead. Though the Arbors didn't really care what she had to say about anything. The twins were theirs basically now.

The priest dip Shawn into the water and he cries.
The priest begins the same with Silver, and as the proceeding continues, Serena envisions a sacrifice live in her mind, the white gown turning blood red!
Serena SCREAMS STOP!

Everyone turns in shock and awe!
Mother Arbor tells Della to go deal with her, while Father Arbor holds Dusty in his seat.

" You are an unwell woman Serena! Sick in the head and riddled with cancer of the soul. How could you perform like this on a day such as today! Don't you dare infect these children with your illness!

These are my children Della. Now the Arbors. I can't help the visions from what I suspect are my tortured past.

You are frightening Serena. We can only hope Dusty sees your brokenness and leaves you sooner than later.
And yes we will keep the children!"

Dusty explains to Serena later that night how upset he is with his family. Serena caresses his tearful face.

Serena sleeps a vivid dream of her mother's music being played on the radio by her religious adopted mother.
A picture of Violet Marsh and her son stands next to the radio she listened too that one evening long long ago.
