Personality: He thought of everything as a game, sort of. He acted as if life was a game. That kind of mindset helped him not be taken over by feelings of love or regret. He thought jewelry was pointless, and what mattered was that dragons see your experience, not your wealth. For that reason, Anubis never wore his gold chained tail band unless it was for an important meeting. He acted cold to everyone and anyone. He only cared about himself and his success. And that got him far...

Backstory: Anubis had a twin brother, Sobek. His father, Kudu, was the crime lord of the gang he founded, the Black Sun. The Black Sun, at the time, ruled over the Scorpion Den. Anubis, as a young dragonet, started his criminal career as the youngest member of a group of pillagers within the Black Sun. When he got a little older, he worked as a thief who robbed dragons either directly or indirectly and even went on a mission once to the palace. Though on occasional missions outside of the Scorpion Den, Anubis's whole world was there. When Anubis and Sobek became adult dragons, Anubis learned that his brother had taken a wife who was a servant to the Black Sun. Anubis reported him to Kudu and Sobek was executed for treason, like his mother was once long ago. Anubis never knew that Kudu executed his mother, and after the death of Sobek, Anubis wanted revenge on his father. Anubis worked as an assassin for a 2 years of his early adulthood, and one night, realized that Kudu had gained too much power. Anubis hatched a plan to kill Kudu and it ended up successful. Anubis became leader of the Black Sun, gaining the Black Sun Crown tattoo, a symbol of his leadership. He blamed Kudu's death on an unknown sickness, and everyone believed him. Anubis took his father's cloak, and became the new crime lord of the Scorpion Den. Anubis had a son, Vulture. When Thorn and her Out-Claws took over the Scorpion Den, Anubis was murdered and Vulture and other Black Sun members escaped. The refugees founded the Talons of Power, Vulture taking Anubis's cloak and carrying on his legacy.

Kudu:
Anubis was on neutral terms with his father, but went against him when he murdered Sobek and gained too much power.

Sobek:
Sobek was probably the only dragon that Anubis actually liked, even though he thought of Sobek as weak. So Anubis was furious when Sobek was killed by Kudu.

Vulture:
Anubis was on neutral terms with his son. He could see the great and powerful dragon Vulture would become, and didn't want the younger SandWing's ambition to get in the way of his own plans, so he kept Vulture at arms length. But when Anubis was eventually killed, he had no doubt that Vulture would carry on his legacy.
