"Shu-kun, there's a guest that's looking for you,"

Yui said as he looked at her with a scowl, telling her to bring the guest as he looked the person with mouth slightly agape.

"Why are you here.."

He hushed in silent, telling Yui to call everyone to gather in the main hall as Shu walked to me, clasping my hands and nuzzling against my shoulder.

"I was told to come here,"

I smiled, wrapping my arms around his waist, caressing his back gently with the tips of my fingers as I began to hear the others' comments that came out one by one.

Looking at my naked shoulders, Shu placed over his cardigan to cover it as he seated me down on the couch in the main hall.

Smiling slightly at me, Kanato held out Teddy with his arms wide open, wrapping it around my neck before Kanato gave me a short embrace.

"It's been a while, I thought you'd never come back,"

He muttered, sitting down on the floor as he laid his head against my thighs as I caressed his hairs gently, trying not to disturb his serene self.

"But, I'm here, no?"

I replied before the other boys nodded lightly, agreeing with my point before Reiji stepped out and repositioned his glasses.

"Are you tired? I'll have the maids to prepare for your room and have your clothes changed,"

He said, coughing a bit into his fist, noticing my semi transparent shirt because of the rain outside that began to seep into Shu's cardigan.

"It's alright, I'm here just to check on you all. I'll take my leave now-"

"Nonsense!"

Ayato bursted out, making me almost jolted out from the couch and startled Kanato, who shifted slightly against my skin.

"Ayato, don't make a ruckus for Bridgette here,"

Subaru protested before he glanced at Kanato with cold gaze, piercing it through his spine and making him looked at Subaru with irritated expression.

"And you, don't give her any problems. She must be tired, so get off,"

He continued, making Kanato grumbled under his breath before I caressed his cheek gently, smiling at him nuzzled my palm.

"Subaru, it's alright, don't be harsh to him,"

I sighed, making him flustered while trying to justify himself as the others began to poke in him lightly to make the tension lessened.

"Ano, Brigette-sama, right?"

She called, whispering the last part gently as I nodded, looking at her expectantly to hear another question out of her lips.

"Yes, what is it?"

"If you don't mind, you can change your clothes with mine for a while.."

She whispered slightly as Ayato proceeded to pick on her, making fun of her size by comparing both of us in the process.

"Bridgette's more developed and curvy body than you, pancake,"

He teased, flicking his pointing finger against her forehead as I looked at him sternly before called out his name.

"Ayato Sakamaki, leave her alone,"

I glared as he gulped down his saliva, muttering an apology under his breath as Yui looked at me with a smile.

"Good,"

I murmured to Ayato as I stood up from the couch after cradled Kanato's head off from my lap before I took off Shu's cardigan, but stopped by him.

"You're cold, take it off after you take a bath and change your clothes, okay?"

He said before he gave my head a light pat as Reiji walked to me, leading me to a guest room and turned on the light.

"The maids will prepare a bath for you soon,"

He said as he called one of them as asked them to brew and pour down some tea for us and prepared a batch of biscuits.

"Bridgette-sama, what will you have?"

"Peony, please add two tablespoons of honey and a sugar cube in it,"

I replied as she nodded, taking her leave to make it as Reiji looked at me in silent, observing me from the top to the toe.

"Is something wrong, Reiji?"

"Well,"

He sighed, leaning against his seat before he took off his glasses, massaging his temples lightly before he looked at me intently.

"Why are you here?"

"I was told by Karlheinz, to check on you all,"

I replied, sipping on my tea lightly before I took a biscuit out of the plate and ate it out, brushing off the falling crumbs.

Walking towards my direction, a maid told me that the bath had been prepared as Reiji stopped her with his hand, telling all of them to leave both of us completely alone.

Dipping my foot into the tub, I inhaled a deep breath and leaned my head against the cold ceramic as Reiji poured down essential oils into the water and began to wash down my hairs.

"This is nice of you,"

I chuckled softly as he rinsed off my hairs, letting out a sigh and dried up his hands before I slipped into a bathrobe and changed my clothes.

"Just doing what I have to do,"

He smiled, patting down my hairs gently as he glanced at the clock and muttered something under his breath then turned on his heel to look at me.

"Dinner will be served in an hour, do you want to go around first?"

"To where, exactly?"

He shrugged off his shoulders, telling me that I had the permit to access all of the rooms around the mansion, including the others' rooms and his library.

Leaving away from my room, I walked to downstairs to find the others and heard a ruckus from the kitchen, looking at Yui and Ayato with an eyebrow raised at him.

"Ayato,"

I called as he looked at me in silent, biting on his lower lip lightly as I stated at his hand intently before he finally opened his mouth, but closed again because of me.

"Yui, right? Leave him alone, I don't wanna see him making another trouble here,"

"Ah! It's alright, Bridgette-sama, Ayato-kun isn't making any troubles here,"

She whispered softly as I nodded, telling her that she didn't need to follow every orders he gave to her as she excused herself to go back to her room.

"Bridgette.."

He pouted as I sighed softly, walking to his direction as I folded my arms over my chest, looking at the messy counter with eggs and flours.

"Were you making pancake with her?"

"Yes,"

"I see,"

I replied, tidying up the mess while looking at him after I finished wiped out the stains and spills on the counter.

"Dinner will be served soon, why'd you make these?"

"I just.. want to?"

"Do you like Yui?"

"What- No! She's just a blood bank and sacrificial bride!"

He huffed as I sighed, nodding softly at his reply.

"Suit yourself,"

I muttered before we finally waled to the dining room together.
