AUTHORS NOTE 01/21/25 —
It's funny when I first created this story
I never imagined I'd have a son of
my own, he's almost 2 years old now!
Pregnancy plots aren't for everyone
and that's okay, I've just always wanted
to write one and now having been through
a whole (and difficult) pregnancy myself,
I'm more confident in my abilities to write
this story!

TW! ADDICTION!
I'm super excited to write this, Nick interacting
kids was literally the cutest thing I ever
witnessed and I really feel like he
would make a great dad. BUT, let me make
known that their relationship is going to be
rocky. Nova loves Nick, but loving someone
who's struggling with addiction is hard to
watch and go through. Speaking from first hand
experience. It's hard to understand what's
going through a person who's struggling with
addictions head, but Nova is extremely loyal
and the Nick she knows and loves is there, just a
little lost and obviously from what we could tell
stubborn when it came to his family helping him.

They have such a strong love, Nova is an absolute
sweetheart who deserves the world and Nick
knows it and he's going to give it to her! I already
love them and their difficult relationship and cannot
wait to see them as parents. Absolute soulmates.

Also want to say, despite in a relationship with
each other, this book is a bit of a slow burn. I
wish to make this fic as realistic as possible,
so realistically, their relationship would be on
the rocks because of the events throughout
season one. Nick respects the fact that Nova is distant
at points because of his actions, but they really
do love each other so much and I'm super excited to
show you all that I have planned.
