You made me print out your essays,
Because you're scared of the machine,
And you've had the same pair of slippers ever since you were thirteen.

And when I close my eyes when I lie down to sleep,
I see your smiling face laughing at me in a dream.
You had the most beautiful eyes that I have ever seen.

We lay down in the grass one night,
Gazed up at the stars and moon,
But I watch alone now my darling, I wish you could come home soon.
