I wear a mask across my face,
The mask smiles as I cry,
It stops people staring,
People simply pass me by.

The mask can't hide my eyes,
I can't pretend any longer,
I can't pretend to be happy,
Pretend that I am stronger.

Staring at a circle of friends,
They ruined my life,
Without even trying,
A silent knife.

Quietly, secretly,
I am crying,
Without anyone knowing,
I am dying.
