Tam's POV:

I woke up with a groan.

Looking around, I sighed in relief. Everyone else was asleep.

I always made it a point to wake up earlier than everyone, so that I could quickly drop those eye colored changing drops, which was a challenge since I hated being woken up early.

Hey, since I'm a shade doesn't mean I loooovvvve to wake up early.

I grunted as I sat up and quietly tiptoed into the toilet, I dropped the eye drop into my eye, made sure that the drop had worked and not make me still a silver hair bangs dude that had one silver eye and teal one on the next.

As I walked out of the toilet, I heard a sniffling sound, like someone was crying.

Who is that? Did the Neverseen attack? I wondered.

I ran towards the room where everyone was sleeping and everyone was still sleeping peacefully.

Well, everyone except....

Biana.

The first thought that came to my mind was, Biana Vacker cries??

Stupid boy, I chided myself, Of course she cries, she's a girl for goodness sake!(Note: Not true, stupid boy, not all girls cry)

What should I do? I wondered. I had never comforted a girl besides my sister, and still, she was kind of easy to deal with, I kinda just needed to hug her and reassure her that everything was okay.

But.....Biana was a whole new level. She was a strong girl, not a girl that would calm down so easily.

I shuffled towards her, careful not to touch her.

It looked like she didn't notice me, and continued to carry on burying her head into her legs as she was in a curled up position.

"Erm.....you okay?"I asked, rubbing my hand against my neck.

She raised her head and wiped her tears off,"Y-Yeah, don't need to worry, just a bad dream."

"Must have been some dream."

"Yeah."

She stayed silent and I didn't bother to ask her what her dream was, because that might bother her.

But after a long moment of silence, she finally whispered,"What if....I got hurt again, but..like seriously hurt, like super bad? Would you guys still.....care about me?"

I was shocked,"Hey! How could you think that way? Of course we would care! We are a team! We work-"

"But what if I can't help anymore?! What if I can't work anymore?!"she whisper-shouted, tears were running down her face,"What if I can't help anymore...."

I fell silent, I didn't know how to answer her.

For years, I had the same thinking too, what if everything was a fake? What if the Black Swan just used me for awhile and then after they were done with their business they would toss me away like trash? What if I was abandoned?

But....after awhile I figured out...I knew I couldn't keep guessing, couldn't keep mistrusting them after everything the Black Swan did to help us.

I had to trust them.

Trust.

I didn't know that I had spoke that word until Biana raised an eyebrow and repeated,"Trust?"

I nodded,"You have to trust the us. We're your friends Biana, we'll never abandon you. Not after what all of us have been through."

Biana looked away.

"Hey," I shifted her shoulders so she would look at me. "Trust me. Trust us."(I'm getting Fitz vibes now. Gack! Pah!)

She was silent, but after a few minutes,she smiled and nodded,"I......thanks for the pep talk."

"Anytime. Besides, could we go to the kitchen to find some food? I'm getting a little hungry, sorry if I'm rude or anything. "

"Nah, I'm hungry too, let's go grab some mallowmelt before the rest wake up."Biana said with a grin.

I smiled a small smile and that smile stuck with me as Biana led me towards the kitchen.
