After awhile with Toxic and Breeze,

"I can't believe I failed again!"

"Honestly, you fail all the time."

Toxic looked at Breeze and glared at her. Breeze stayed quiet and looked away.

"We need more helpers. There's to many heroes to deal with all at once."

"Who is even gonna help us?"

"I don't know but until then, we're not going anywhere until we have a plan and to get more help."

"It better be good."

With Spice, she was sitting outside, reading a book until a bouquet of flowers appeared in front of her.

"Huh?"

"Hey Spice."

Spice turned her head and saw Neon, standing by her nervously, holding flowers.

"What do you want?"

"I brought you some flowers since it's pretty common here." Spice glared at him and stood up.

"I know what you're doing and it's not gonna work. So stop trying." Spice walked away as Neon watched her leave.

The flowers that he was holding, wilted as he looked down a bit.

Later, Neon came in towards Spice as she was in her room.

"Hey Spice! I got you your favorite, Carrot cake!"

Spice walked towards him and said,

"No Neon. I'm sorry." She closed the door on him.

Soon, Spice was relaxing in the sun until someone blocked her sunlight.

"I found some jewelry for you I thought you might like!"

"Neon stop it!" Neon was shocked as she stood up.

"I'm not gonna date you again! You broke my heart last time and you expect me to just take you back!?"

"You're even lucky I'm still your friend but you and me, it's over and it's gonna stay that way! So please just leave me alone right now!"

Neon's heart shattered as she sat back down on her chair. He lowered his ears as he walked away.

While you were talking to Silver, you saw Neon walking by.

"Neon? Are you ok?"

"I don't want to talk about it." Neon closes the door behind him and left the house.

"What's wrong with him Silver?"

"He's still having a rough time after his break up with Spice."

"Wait? They dated before?"

"Yeah."

"How are they still friends?"

"That's what I asked but I guess they just chose to be that way instead."

"So what happened with their breakup?"

"I don't know. They never told us."

"Should we talk to them?"

"No. Leave them be for awhile."

"Ok." You looked at Silver and started blushing.

Silver looked at you and noticed that you were staring at him.

"What?"

"Uh...nothing!"

"Ok."

With Neon, he was at a nearby park, looking at his guitar. He looked at it sadly as he stared at it.

*Flashback*

"Happy Birthday Neon!" Spice gave him his present.

Neon smiled and grabbed his present.
He opened it and saw a guitar.

"An electric guitar just for you!"

He looked at it and smiled at her.

"I love it! Thank you Spice!"

"You're welcome!"

They hugged each other and smiled.

*Flashback ended*

Neon wiped away his tear as he turned his head.

He saw a karaoke place and thought to himself.

"Maybe that'll keep me distracted for awhile." Neon walked inside and sat down.

He watched 2 people sing a song until the manager spotted him in the audience.

"How about you sir!?"

Neon looked around a bit but then points at himself.

"Me?"

"Yes! You! Come on up and show us what you got!"

"No thanks. I'm good."

"Come on! Just one song."

Neon sighed and said,

"Fine."

He got up and everyone cheered. He held onto his guitar and looked at everyone.

"Here goes nothing."

He starts playing a rock and roll song as everyone watched. They were shocked as how well he played.

When he played the finale part of the song, he swiped his strings so fast a few times that lightning came out of his guitar as everyone ducked.

When he finished, he opens his eyes as saw that everyone hidden at their spots and some slight smoke around him.

"Uh...sorry?"

Everyone cheered loudly as he stood there shocked. A citizen walked towards him from his seat and said,

"That was amazing! Especially with those special effects you put in!"

"Uh...thanks. But those weren't..."

"How would you like to become a star kid?"

"R-Really?"

"With a talent like yours, Of course!"

"Well...usually everytime I try out like this, it doesn't always goes well."

"Well whoever said that, don't know real talent like you do. So what do you think? Wanna join?"

Neon thought for a moment.

"I can't actually. I'm..." He suddenly thought of Spice.

*Flashback of Spice*

"Leave me alone Neon! We are only capable as friends! Stop trying so hard!"

*Flashback ends*

"You know what, I accept."

"Great! Here's my card! See you next time!"

He walked away as Neon looked at the card.

"Me? A star? With people who would actually love my music? What a dream come true!"

Neon came home with a smile on his face.

"Guess what guys!? I'm a star!"

"What are you talking about?" Silver asked.

"Someone actually recognized my talent! Me!"

"Neon. Even if you did become famous, you can't in this timeline."

"Back home, people don't understand my skills, here it's different! I can finally focus on something that doesn't have to do with Spice!"

Everyone looked at Spice as she looked at him confused.

"What are you talking about?"

"After you kept rejecting me, I realized that I need to try something different so that way we can both have what we want."

"Do you really think that it is necessary? W-What about our mission?"

"You can always call me you know. Besides, if I stay, I might make things worse for you."

"I wouldn't say worse."

"I don't want to bother you anymore Spice. I know our relationship was complicated but I at least wanted to fix things."

Spice lowered her head as she stayed quiet.

"But we need you here. There's no reason to leave."

"Sorry Spice. I made up my mind. I'm living the dream!"

"But Neon..."

"Better get ready. See ya Spice!"

"W-Wait? No nicknames or no silly actions or anything?"

"You don't like those remember."

"I never said that. I..."

Neon walked away as Spice stood there quietly.

"What was that all about Spice? I thought you didn't like it when he did those things." Sliver said.

Spice sighed and looked at them.

"Well...the truth is, I kinda miss him. I didn't want him knowing that because I'm afraid of repeating the problems we had before. I didn't mind what he was doing. I was just pretending that I don't but when I'm alone, it makes me laugh."

"Why don't you just tell him?" Sonic asked.

"I'm to nervous."

"Alright everyone! I'm off! Just give me a call if you need me!"

Blaze grabbed his hand as he looked at her.

"Neon, this isn't your timeline. You have a mission to do and then we are going home!"

Neon removed his arm from her.

"This is what I want and you can't stop me!" Neon left the house as Everyone looked at each other.

"Should I get him?" Knuckles asked.

"No. We'll figure out how to get him back." Silver said.
