Chapter 6

Alanna stood there gazing out the large bay window in the middle of the Lannister mud room. She sighed deeply, her hands resting on her forearms. Her bottom lip brought between her teeth as she noticed Sansa out in the backyard with Joffery.

Even though she had been banished from the house Sansa was still for whatever reason still able to do as she pleased.

"Hard to believe Robert has the two engaged."

Cersei said strolling around the corner. Alanna turned and seen her boss headed toward her, she lowered her eyes.

"I didn't know that."

"Of course not, we've been keeping you busy... father has been keeping you busy."

Alanna felt her cheeks warm. Ever since the beach photo shoot Cersei had been odd around her. But catching a woman younger than herself in bed with her father was rather startling.

"He's requested you by the way. Father is waiting for you up in the office."

She said looking back to Alanna. Alanna glanced at her boss. The look from Cersei was sad but for the most part unreadable. Nodding Alanna turned on her heels and made her way toward Tywin's office. Up the flight of stairs and through one long hallway later she was before his doors.

But something was amiss. There were voices behind the door. Voices that Alanna knew all too well.

Opening the door without so much as knocking Alanna was greeted by men she hadn't expected to see.

"Rob? Mr. Bolton?"

Her mouth felt dry as she looked at the two people she has least expected to see. Roose Bolton and her brother Rob both there in Tywin's office.

"Miss. Stark. Pleasure to see you again."

Roose said as he walked toward Alanna. The hairs on the back of her neck stood at attention as Roose reached out and placed his hands on hers pulling her closer to him.

"What are you doing here Mr. Bolton?"

She questioned. Roose's lips twitched as he gave her hands a light squeeze.

"Father's agreement is still in effect Alanna."

Rob said causing his elder sister to look at him over Roose's shoulder. Rob didn't seem all too happy with her still, but the fact remained that he was here along side Roose.

"Still keeping his word, like always."

Roose muttered softly, his hand coming up and combing through her long brown locks. Tywin rose from his seat abruptly clearing his throat.

"Yes, well, that's a problem."

Tywin said causing the three of them to look at him. Rob narrowed his eyes.

"And why is that Mr. Lannister?"

"Because boy, her contract is binding."

Tywin stated nearly glaring at him. Rob returned the expression with just as much intense pressure as Tywin. Alanna felt her stomach turn as she stood there glancing between the two of them.

"She's in a binding 3 year contract. The contract states that she cannot leave my employment or alter her body in anyway that would hurt the image of this company."

"You mean pregnancy."

Roose said moving his arms further around Alanna. She swore she could feel the blood in her body turn cold from Tywin's gaze. Obvious that he was rather testy with the way she was being held after their whole growing relationship.

"Precisely."

"Still gives her the right to marry and move. She'll still work for you Mr. Lannister. But my father wants to move this marriage along quickly."

Rob said.

Alanna glanced up at Roose. Why so suddenly had her father wished for her to marry the man that she was promised to as a child? What had changed? Had her mother told her father what had happened between her and Rob and how he had banished her from their home and she now presided with the Lannister's?

"Her relocation would be bothersome. I know well that the Bolton's live some hours away. Alanna needs to be here, closer, at all times."

"Alanna? Since when is a man like you on such a first name basis Mr. Lannister?"

Rob spat obviously not playing into these games. Tywin scoffed.

"Since a man like you has banished his sister from her household and has unconvinced me by having her living under my roof, boy."

Rob slammed his hands down onto Tywin's desk causing Alanna to startle.

"Call me boy again! See what happens!"

"Rob! That's enough!"

Roose said moving from Alanna and toward the boy. His hand fell upon Rob's shoulder from behind causing the man to stop his outrage toward Tywin.

"Mr. Lannister. You said it yourself she was an inconvince to you. Allow us to take her away and relocate her when she belongs."

"And as I said before Mr. Bolton, I cannot allow that."

The room was tense and filled with an awkward silence as all the men seemed to be at a stand still glaring contest with one another. Alanna could tell that nobody in this room was happy.

Nobody.

And to make matters worse, Tywin wasn't allowing to let Alanna leave.

"Mr. Lannister if you're refusing to allow her to leave then we'll have to inform the authorities that you've kidnapped Miss. Stark."

Roose said grasping some type of logic in this crazy conversation. Tywin stood tall still his eyes moving over slowly to Alanna.

"I've never kept her here against her will, you may ask her yourself if you like. But if you must then do so out side of my office. I'm too busy of a man to be obstructed by such childish family drama."

He said turning to move from his desk.

"Gregor will show you out."

Tywin said as Gregor, his huge body guard, entered the room. Roose and Rob both looked from one man to the other and finally their eyes fell upon Alanna.

And Alanna seemed just as conflicted as them.
