One drop
that has saved a
million lives, has almost 
Eradicated crippling disease
Polio.

Written for Week 17 (April 26, 2020) where we had to write a poem about a famous historic invention. My pick was polio (though the word invention automatically bring a 'device' to mind)

In 1955,  when Jonas Salk finds a way to prevent polio, there were 28,985 global cases; by 2017, the number drops to 22.
