BCE 1 - Song of the Seasons

Spring came with warmth and showers,
Warmth and showers, warmth and showers,
Spring came with warmth and showers,
The children danced in good cheer.

Soon Summer burst in lively flowers,
Lively flowers, lively flowers,
Soon Summer burst in lively flowers,
With long days and skies so clear.

Then Autumn comes in red and gold,
Red and gold, red and gold,
Then Autumn comes in red and gold
With apples and pumpkin spheres.

Then the days are short, nights turn cold,
Nights turn cold, nights turn gold,
Then the days are short, nights turn cold,
And it is Winter icy severe.

But Winter to Spring does flow,
Spring does flow, Spring does flow,
But Winter to Spring does flow,
And the days are no more drear.

The seasons come and seasons go,
Seasons go, seasons go,
The seasons come and seasons go,
To mark the passing of a year.

Week 1 of BCE 2020, where we had to rewrite any one of the following nursery rhyme:

> Mary had a little lamb

> The Queen of Hearts

> Pop goes the Weasel

> There was a crooked man

I think you must have guessed which one I selected(it was an easy choice, I have  been singing it often in the recent times to my nephew, so it still bounces in my head).
