The moon was hiding behind the clouds as the sirens echoed in the city. A radio station came through a broadcast and it was none other than J. Jonah Jameson from the Daily Bugle. Jonah was speaking about how yesterday was a blast and what was going on about the two mysterious heroes that made an appearance while Cindy came walking on the ledge showing off her new, beautiful costume in the spotlight she created and she puts on her red scarf over the bridge of her nose. Cindy looked towards the streets and says "Time for Silk to make an entrance." She saw the cars going fast down Times Square and Silk dived herself off the Empire State Building with her eyes closed feeling the breeze going through her jet black long hair. Silk kept going downwards until she reached her index and middle fingers together outwards to shoot out webs quickly. It caught the tall street lamppost and she swung herself to the first car near the windshield. She waved and says "Good morning, gentlemen! Isn't it way too early to drive crazy like this? You do know miles away people are still trying to sleep. We're not all early birds, you know?" The criminal in the passenger seat panicked and says "What the hell is that thing?" There were two more people in the backseat of the car and one of them says "You mean, who is that?!" The other criminal says "Hit the breaks hard!" The driver turned around and says "Are you insane?!" The passenger hits the breaks very hard and the car started screeching very loudly while stopping immediately.

Silk quickly flew backwards and yelled as she thought of something. "Need something to grab onto." She quickly looked at the tv screens and says "Ah. I got it." She used her both hands and webbed one screen to the other. The string of web stopped her from going into a restaurant and she says to the criminals. "Hold on a second and I'm coming back!" She then launched herself back forward like a slingshot and slid her feet on the concrete as the criminals got out of the car with their guns. The one criminal that was driving shouted to the others and says "Guard the trunk with your life and don't let that hostage get out!" Silk says "Wow. Now that wasn't very smart at all. Not only was this a speed chase, but a hostage situation too this early? It's no wonder you criminals are noobs." One of the criminals says "End that....that....Spider-Freak!" Silk says "Uh...it's Silk, but whatever." The criminals were shooting at Silk and she did a Yurchenko flip while webbing all of their weapons and says "You won't be needing these!" She yanked them and attached them to a complex building. She landed on her feet and webbed one of the criminals to the car with a glob of webs. Another criminal ran towards Silk and she roundhouse kicked him down to the ground. "Right. Two down, two more to go." Silk suddenly heard a familiar voice she knew from yesterday. "I'll handle these two!" Spider-Man came into action and swing kicked one of them into a pole and grabbed the other one and knocked him into a garbage can with a clang sound considering the garbage can was made out of aluminum. Silk sighed and says "Really? Once again?" Spider-Man shrugged and says "Hey, you never know if you need backup." Silk raised her eyebrows and says "You didn't think that I can't handle myself? I was doing just fine without you." Spider-Man went to the trunk, webbed it and pulled it off. Spider-Man saw the woman trapped inside and says "Alright. They're gone and you're safe now. They won't bother you again." The woman got up and says "Thank you. Thank you so much, Spider-Man." Silk waved her hand and says "Uh, lady. I kind of did all of the butt whupping myself, so technically I saved you. Not him. He came at the very last minute." The woman says "What? I don't even know you who you are! You mysterious stranger." Spider-Man says "Hey, just give her a little credit. She's actually really cool once you get passed the sort of mean attitude." The woman says "Yeah...like that'll happen. I praise you, Spider-Man, not that one." She pointed at Silk and Silk was pretty shocked at the rudeness that woman gave her and she walked away. Silk felt a little upset that the woman gave kindness to Spider-Man, but not the actual hero that saved her life from a bunch of noob criminals.

Silk shouted out to the woman who was walking away from them. "Yeah, you're welcome by the way!" Silk shook her head as Spider-Man looked at her and says "So...awesome costume." Silk walked towards Spider-Man and pushed him down to the ground. Spider-Man grunted and rubbed his arm. "Ow, what the hell?" Silk pointed a finger at him and her hazel eyes were in anger. "You shouldn't have interfered into my spotlight! That was my chance to become a hero on the newspapers and you took that from me! It's always been about you on television and how amazing and spectacular you are, but what about me? Do I get any credit for saving lives? No! Because it's always you interrupting and you did it to me twice in a row! Let me have this for once! I want to know what it feels like, but you want to be selfish and take it all for yourself! Give me a chance with this! Please!" Spider-Man felt bad as he slowly got up and Silk crossed her arms while being upset. Her eyes were looking down feeling hurt as her thoughts approached in her mind. 'I'm probably being angry for no reason, but it's always Spider-Man getting the love and appreciation while I'm the one being left out. I know I shouldn't have yelled at him, but he interfered in my fame and glory twice now. It's time for me to be a part of the heroism as well, just as long as Spider-Man minding his business. Which I bet he won't. Also, he did say that my costume was awesome. (I knew he would love it.) Maybe I should apologize for my rude behavior?'

Spider-Man was behind her and was about to say something, but Silk was about to say something as well. They both said their sentences at the same time. Spider-Man says "Look, I wanted to..." Silk says "It was wrong of me to...." They both looked away and Silk cleared her throat and says "I'm sorry for speaking out of turn." Spider-Man looked back at Silk and says "No, no. I get it. It's early in the morning at three-thirty. Say what you have to say. Ladies first." He softly chuckled and Silk shook her head says "No...it's fine. I..." Spider-Man's lenses blinked and Silk thought about it then spoke up. "I was going to say that...it was wrong of me to shout at you like that. I just wanted to be just like you, you know? Become more than just myself. I want to be extraordinarily better. I can fight my own battles and I won't need any help unless I desperately need it. That's all I want." Spider-Man looked at her eyes and Silk whispered. "That's all I want." Her eyes looked up to Spider-Man and says "So, what were you going to say?" Spider-Man stuttered and says "W-Well I w-was going to say t-that...uh..." Silk leaned forward and says "Yeah?" Spider-Man sighed and says "U-Uh...I was going to s-say that...." He face-palmed himself and says "Ugh, I can't do this." Silk's thoughts came running into her brain quickly. 'Um, is Spider-Man okay? He must be very nervous around me. This never happened yesterday or any day. So, what's up with him? It's got to be my costume, right?' Silk softly chuckled and says "No. It's fine. Just take a deep breath and relax. Whenever you're ready to speak, I'll listen as hard as I can." Spider-Man nodded and took a deep breath while his thoughts were coming to his mind. 'What is going on with me today? I never get like this. Is it because of this mysterious woman who I still can't figure out her hero name? I hope I'm not falling in love with her, but she looks so familiar with that hair and her eyes are just magnificent. Uh-oh. Peter, don't get any ideas. It's not like that.' Spider-Man turned around and says "Okay. I'm ready. I wanted to apologize for interfering and you're absolutely right about what you just said. People always like me because of what I do and I'm thinking that... maybe I can teach you a few things to stand out into the crowd. If that's alright with you, of course." Silk's eyebrows twitched a bit as she looked towards Spider-Man. "Wait. You're saying that...you'll be willing to teach me as a student and teacher thing?" Spider-Man shrugged and says "It's up to you and its okay if you say no. I mean, I'll completely understand that if you..." Silk says "Are you serious? Yes, I volunteer to be taught!" Spider-Man's lenses became wide and says "Really? That's great! How about tomorrow night?" Silk says "That sounds like a great idea." She smiled underneath her mask and Spider-Man nodded as well. "Yes, it is. So, do you have a hero name now or is it still 'classified'?" Silk laughed and had her hands on hips. "Yes, I do have a name now. It's Silk." Spider-Man says "Silk? Hmm...simple, short, sweet. I like it. I like it a lot." Silk nodded and says "Thank you, Spider-Man." She smiled and Spider-Man smiled as well. Then Spider-Man went towards her and says "Silk, I...." Silk holds up her right hand to pause him. "Wait. My senses are going off." Spider-Man tilted his head and says "Don't you mean spider sense?" Silk waved her hand in the middle. "Meh, more like Silk senses. You stick to your original and I'll stick with mine." Spider-Man says "Fair enough." A sound of glass was heard being shattered from a distance. Spider-Man looked around and says "That sounds like it's in Midtown West which is not far from here." Silk nodded and says "Then let's investigate together. At least for now." Spider-Man nodded and says "Okay. You take the high ground and I'll stay down here." Silk says "I figured you got a plan." Spider-Man was undecided and says "Eh...I'm thinking of one that's trying not to get me killed. Also, you did want to be in the spotlight." Silk says "That is true." She quickly crawled up a tall building while Spider-Man stealthily went to where the sound was coming from and it was from a jewelry break-in of a dark silhouette that looks feminine.

The silhouette found a nice, shiny diamond necklace that looks like it would be worth millions of dollars and Silk had thoughts in her head. 'Whoa. A dark, creepy silhouette broke into a store getting ready to steal a million dollar fancy diamond necklace and she or he thinks is going to get away with that? Don't think so. I better angle it right.' She aimed her fingertips like she was aiming a gun and the silhouette says "This will do perfectly in my..." Suddenly, the web caught the necklace out of her hand and towards the wall setting off the alarm. The silhouette cursed out loud and says "S***!" Spider-Man went in and says "Stop right there!" The silhouette walked towards the flashing lights with her hands up. Spider-Man was stunned and says "Hot, attractive cat lady?" The female was wearing an all black catsuit with a bit of white fur surrounding the rest of it, showing off her huge cleavage with white gloves. Her hair was platinum white long and curled at the ends with perfection. She was also wearing a mask that really doesn't hide anything and a black choker with a bell. The woman had a seductive, light tone voice and says "Black Cat and you caught me redhanded." Silk came down and landed next to Spider-Man. Black Cat says "Wow. I timed that just right. Considering that you have red fingers, I mean." Silk leaned next to Spider-Man's right ear and whispers. "Who is this woman?" Spider-Man whispered back. "She said she goes by Black Cat?" Silk whispered. "A woman dressed up as a cat? This isn't Halloween." Black Cat rolled her eyes and says "You know I can hear you both clearly. Now, if you'll excuse me, I got more places to hit." Silk webbed up the window and the door. "I don't think so. The cops will be here in a few minutes, so we have time to interrogate you." Black Cat pretended that she has a watch on and says "Ooh, I'm afraid that we don't have time, honey." Spider-Man was confused and says "What do you mean by that?" Black Cat smirked and says "You'll see." She had a little remote hidden behind her back and then she activated it which made the flashing lights go out making it extremely dark. Silk says "Whoa! It suddenly got dark!" Spider-Man says "I know! Where did she go?" Silk felt she got pushed down to the floor as a laugh went passed by her. Silk says "What was that?" Spider-Man says "Hold on. I'll try to find the circuit breaker." Silk says "In the darkness?" Spider-Man says "Yes, just stay there." There was webbing sounds coming from Spider-Man and he was pulling the lever. "Almost...got it." The bright lights in the store finally came on and Spider-Man saw the lights. "There we go." He ran back to Silk and says "Is she here?" Silk shook her head and says "No, she got away." Spider-Man says "Damn it." Silk says "Language." Spider-Man says "That's my bad. I'm sorry. You okay?" He reached his hand out towards her and Silk grabbed it and got up. "Yeah. I think she got the jump on me while the lights went out." Spider-Man says "Well, we'll get her next time. If she does come back, we'll be prepared. Wait, I'm sorry. You'll be prepared." Silk smiled and says "I would like that a lot." Spider-Man and Silk looked at each other until they looked towards the far distance and noticed that the sun was beginning to rise. Spider-Man says "Welp. This has been a fun early morning, but I got to head back and continue my work." Silk cracked her knuckles and says "Yeah. I got to continue my work as well, but not without a little note for the cops." Spider-Man says "I'll write it down." Silk says "No, let me write it." Spider-Man tapped his chin and says "How about we write it together?" Silk smiled and says "Good idea." They both wrote on a piece of computer paper and took off. The cops walked right in and one of them saw the note on top of a unbroken jewelry display. The note says 'SO SORRY ABOUT THE MESS, WE HAD TO TAKE CARE OF A CRIMINAL BREAK-IN AND WE COULDN'T STOP IT. WE ARE SORRY AND WE PROMISE TO CATCH THE CRIMINAL WHENEVER IT SHOWS UP AGAIN. - SINCERLY, YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD, SPIDER-MAN AND THE EXTRAORDINARY SILK.'

Silk web swinged back to her house and took off her scarf and costume. She hid the costume in her wardrobe, and quickly switched to her pajamas. Then, Cindy flopped into her bed and went to sleep as Nari and Albert Senior opened the door to check on Cindy before they head off to go to work and Nari walked in to kiss Cindy on the head. Cindy smiled in her sleep while Nari was stroking her soft long hair and Nari spoke in Korean. "Jal ja, Sindi." (Sleep well, Cindy.) Albert Senior smiled and whispers in Korean. "Wala, kkul." (Come on, honey.) Nari looked back at Albert Senior and whispers. "Gwaenchanh-a." (Okay.) She covered Cindy with her bed sheets and got up to head out of the door.

The clock went to 7:00 am and a note was on her nightstand. Cindy picked it up and it was in Korean language. It says 'Be sure to make sure that your brother gets up at 7:30 and don't forget to fix him a bowl of cereal as well. He'll need the nutrition. Also, make sure you walk him to his bus stop. I don't want him to get lost and you both be careful getting to school today. Understand and don't talk to strangers. -Your loving Papa, Albert Sr.' Cindy puts the note down and says "Ye, appa." (Yes, papa.) "I will do anything to make sure my brother is ready for school and speaking of getting ready, I need to get ready." She grabbed some of her clothes and got her cherry blossom scented body wash. She headed into the bathroom and brushed her teeth first then hopped into the shower and started washing herself.

After the refreshing hot shower, she looked into the mirror and puts on some strawberry lip balm to keep her lips hydrated. She walked out of the room and thought of wearing the scarf around her neck. She grabbed it and did so while looking in the mirror. "That's perfect. Hopefully, my brother won't mind at all." She looked at her red watch and says "Close to seven-thirty. Better go wake up, Junior." Cindy walked out of her room and went to Junior's bedroom door then knocked. "Wake up, Junior. It's time to go to school." Junior was still in bed and his voice was muffled under the covers. "No, in a minute." Cindy sighed and says "That's not what papa said in the note. He said seven-thirty exactly and it's almost seven-fourty. Please open the door and why is the door locked anyway?" Junior says "Because it's to keep nosy sisters away from the door." Cindy sarcastically laughed and says "Yeah, that's really funny and cute, Junior. Now, open the door." She jiggled the doorknob and it won't open. "Seriously. Albert Junior, open this door, now!" Junior groaned and says "Fine!" He finally gets up and opened the door. "Yes, lovable sister?" Cindy says "Oh, now you want to be nice to me." Junior noticed the scarf and says "Hey, that's my scarf! Why do you have it?" Cindy looked both ways and says "Uh...because I wanted to borrow it." Junior says "Are you kidding me? I use that for Halloween on my Ninja Cowboy costume!" Cindy blew a raspberry with her tongue and says "Please. You had that costume since you were six years old. Now, you're ten and you still want to wear it even though it's too small for you?" Junior crossed his arms and says "Yes, seeing that costume gives me good memories of the past." Cindy says "You told me a while back before we came to America that you don't like Halloween anymore." Junior says "Well, now I changed my mind. Can I please get my scarf back?" Cindy says "Aww, but it looks so nice on me." Junior sighed and says "Oh, okay. Keep it. It's yours." Cindy smiled and hugged him while patting his back and says "Gamsa, donglyo." (Thanks, brother.) Junior slowly patted hers as well. "Ne, ne. Cheonman-eyo." (Yeah. Yeah. You're welcome.) Cindy lets go and says "Take a quick bath and I'll fix your cereal." Junior says "Alright." He went to the bathroom and ran his own bathwater. Cindy went to the kitchen, grabbed a bowl, the box of cereal and the gallon of milk.

While Cindy was pouring the milk, Junior came out with a nice school t-shirt and khakis with blue and white tennis shoes to match. Cindy looked and saw Junior then smiled. "Well, don't you look adorable." Junior rolled his eyes and says "Gee. Thanks, 'mom'." Cindy laughed and she puts on her bookbag then says "Your cereal is on the table." Junior says "Ninja Warrior Marshmallow Crunch?" Cindy puts the cool cereal box back onto the fridge and says "Yeah, what else?" Junior picked up his spoon and says "Thanks, sis. What about you? You're not eating?" Cindy leaned against the counter with her hands and says "Nah, I'd rather eat at school." Junior says "Oh, okay." He started drinking his milk from the bowl and says "I'm done. Can I get more?" Cindy says "Sorry, brother. You can't be late for school. It's getting close to eight." Junior was a little sad and says "Aww. Oh, well. Maybe next morning." Cindy says "Yeah, maybe. Let's go outside." She had her key and lead Junior out of the door with his bookbag on. Cindy closed the door and locked it then Junior was looking up towards the sky and says "Beautiful day today." Cindy says "Yep. I agree. Come on, let's get you to the bus stop." They jogged to a green bench next to the sign where it says 'Bus Stop.' They both sat down and Junior says "Is mom and dad at work?" Cindy looked towards him and says "Yes, they are. They went to work early again." Junior says "I wonder why they had to go so early in the morning." Cindy says "Money. Pays the electricity and more time to earn it. Mom's a scientist now and papa works a long time until ten-thirty. Without money, we wouldn't be living in a nice two story house. We would be living homeless under a bridge with hardly any food. Do you want that to happen, Junior?" Junior shook his head and says "No way. It's scary even at night, but Spider-Man can help us, right? He is a hero and that woman. What was her hero name again? Milk?" Cindy laughed and nudged against Junior and says "No, no. Junior, it's Silk." Junior says "Oh, I'm sorry." Cindy says "It's okay, my brother. It's okay." Cindy leaned her head on Junior as his school bus came and Junior says "There it is!" Cindy says "Okay. You be careful in school." Junior says "Don't worry. I'll be okay. Salanghae, Sindi." (I love you, Sindi.) He gave her a very sweet and gentle hug. Cindy looked down while hugging him. "Nado neoleul salanghae, Hujin. Jaemiissda." (I love too, Junior. Have fun.) She kissed him on his head and Junior says "Naneun hal geos-ida." (I will.) Cindy smiled and says "Gwaenchanh-a." (Okay.) She playfully pushed Junior forward towards the bus and Junior looked back and waved to his sister. Cindy smiled genuinely as she waved back. Junior got on the school bus and Cindy watched it leave the sidewalk while having her hands in her pockets. Then her bus arrived and Peter was on the bus this time and not Ned.

Cindy got on the bus and went all the way to the back where Peter was. Cindy says "Hey, Peter. No Ned?" Peter looked beside him and says "No, he's not on the bus. He probably went to school a lot earlier." Cindy says "Oh, alright." Peter says "You can sit next to me if you want. I don't mind at all." Cindy smiled and says "Alright." She sat down next to him as the bus started moving and Peter says "I...I saw a little boy giving you a hug before we arrived. Was he your cousin or your brother?" Cindy says "Oh. He was my little brother. His name is Albert Jr, but I mainly call him Junior. He's a very funny brother." Peter says "Sounds like he's a good kid." Cindy nodded and says "Yes, he is. He's silly as I don't know what, but yeah. He's a good brother to me." Cindy took out a written piece of paper with Korean symbols on it and Peter says "Whoa. What are those?" Cindy says "What? The writings? This is Korean language." Peter was shocked and says "Really? You never told me you lived in Korea. I thought you were Chinese." Cindy laughed and says "Well, now you know." Peter says "I want to learn your language." Cindy says "What?" Peter says "Your language. Teach me a few things." Cindy shrugged and says "I don't know if you would understand it." She started to put the paper away and Peter grabbed the paper gently with his fingers slowly going against hers. Cindy gasped and saw their fingers touching each other. Peter noticed it as well and they quickly looked at each other. Cindy was getting nervous and says "So, you really want to learn...my language?" Peter gulped and started to stutter a bit. "Y-Yeah. I-I-I do. I want to learn from you." Their hands were intertwining and Cindy snapped out of the trance then they both moved their hands away. Peter looked around and cleared his throat. Cindy says "Alright. You want to learn? I'll try my best to teach you." Peter says "Okay." Cindy was teaching Peter the Korean language on the bus while they were almost there to the high school. Cindy says "And that's all the time we have for, Peter. You are learning quite well for your first time." Peter smiled and says "Well, I've always been a good listener." Cindy softly laughed as she looked at him and Peter smiled. The bus made a complete stop and the students began to get off. Cindy was caught in the trance once again and noticed that herself and Peter were the only ones on the bus. Cindy says "Oh, sorry about that, bus driver!" The bus driver says "That's okay. You kids be careful, now." Peter made Cindy go first and Peter spoke up and says "We will." Cindy got off the bus first and Peter went right next to her and says "Hm." Cindy says "What?" Peter says "That bus driver sure do look very familiar." They kept walking and the bus driver turned out to be the legendary Stan Lee and he chuckled when he saw them leaving the bus. "What a couple of lovebirds. Excelsior!" He takes off by leaving the school entrance and went on towards the bus parking lot.
