S6-Finale Part 2
"The Wedding"
🌓
Clair de Lune
"Shouldn't you guys be with Jimin right now?"
Celine said, tears streaming down her face.
Jin basically screamed, patting away the tears from her freshly made face. He did not pay for the best makeup artist in the country for her to cry it all away. Luckily it was waterproof, which he insured.
"Um, why would we do that? I'm your maid of honor and Taehyung is your flower girl." Yoongi said, again trying to calm the girl down.
To no avail.
"And miss the nervous breakdown that was bound to happen? As if." Taehyung rebuttaled, trying not to laugh at the death glare Celine fired his way.
It had been a long, arduous fight to get Taehyung here. She still had so much to say to him. So much to tell him. But for today, they both would pretend like everything was okay.
They all looked handsome, their suits Versace and pressed to perfection. It didn't distract her enough though.
Despite the scary face she carried, she looked gorgeous. That much she could tell from looking in the mirror. Her hair had two simple braids pulled back, the rest of her hair curled into long waves. Her face made up with simple makeup, though it was golden and warm to math the appliqués of her dress.
And the dress, Jin made sure it was something out of a fairytale.
She felt like a princess, or maybe a goddess from Greece. Like a little personification of sunlight.
Her dress was an off white, ivory. A thin airy fabric, that wrapped around her body as if it were water. Flowing and ebbing around her, satin in its glow. Golden details swirled around the bottom of the dress gently, meeting at the bodice to create a intricate design.
The wedding venue, a castle in France was decorated the same way as her dress. Pretty golden areas, all meant to represent light.
Sunlight and warmth, the exact way she felt about
Jimin.
A fresh wave of tears started to roll down her cheeks, whimpers haphazardly falling from her mouth as she tried to speak.
"Oh yeah, I forgot our bridal party is the smallest in world history, since we have no friends." She said, making everyone around her try to hold in their laughs.
Yoongi just looked down, Taehyung full on spun away from the mirror hoping she wouldn't see his amusement.
Jin was exasperated, looking to Hoseok and Namjoon to somehow lighten the mood and help her stop crying. They looked to Hani and Joy, the girlfriends that may have been able to help their fellow woman in need.
They thought she was upset about something minuscule that made her feel like the day wasn't perfect. Or that she was nervous.
They had no clue she was crying because everything was perfect.
"Yeah, sorry. Also Namjoon, Hoseok, and I wanted to see you in your dress before we went over to Jimin." Hani started to say, looking gorgeous in her blush toned bridesmaid dress.
Celine turned from the mirror, curls falling behind her. Cries stopping just enough so she could speak.
"Thanks, Hani and Joy. For being here such late of notice. I needed some girls with me. My girls."
They had all started to get closer as the relationships continued. Yoongi started bringing Joy around all the time, and Hani became more comfortable. Even after their whole Scotland debacle, and Celine having to talk Joy into staying in Korea. Hani, who was sweet as summer and Joy was cold as a winter storm. Both were filling a gap she needed in her life. It was a breath of fresh air, having both of them around.
Joy smiled back, flipping her black hair over her shoulder.
"Oh its no problem. Yoongi bribed me with money."
Celine's shoulders slumped, a pout forming again on her face. Usually this joke would stick, but it might have been the wrong time.
"Oh my god." Yoongi said, putting his head down. He came over to Joy, whispering something in her ear as he placed a hand on her back.
"Just kidding." She said seconds later, though it was just a bit too late.
"Are you sure you don't want your mom or dad back here?"
Jin asked, now starting to look worried. The girl shook her head, knowing they would be right at the front of the crowd. That's where she needed them. At a distance till she was fully whole without them again.
"Positive. I want you Jin."
"You're finally here Celine. Just remember, us sitting at a cafe a couple years ago. You crying about how you'd never be with Jimin. Wishing you had your family back. Me trying to console you, not knowing what would happen either. Now look at you. You're going to have your perfect fairytale ending."
It all really fucking dawned on her in that moment.
She was getting married.
To Park Jimin.
A man, that treated her better than she had ever been before. One that restored her faith in the world and humanity. One that she loved with her entire being.
Together, forever.
"I think I should be by myself for a bit guys. Thank you all, seriously. I love you."
She stared at all of them.
Taehyung, and his pretty face. Staring happily at her, but clutching at his elbow as if a hand should be settled right there. Knowing that one of them was missing, and wouldn't be at the ceremony.
Yoongi, who was straight faced but could barely fight the happy tears in his eyes. So proud of the girl that had come so far, and conquered all of her fears. She had found true love, and given it to one of his favorite people on the planet.
Hoseok couldn't help but be another source of light in the room.
Namjoon and Jin, who's glances alternated between her and themselves. She looked down, smiling at the engagement ring on Jin's finger.
"Okay, we love you too."
She was alone now.
Looking in the mirror, she saw two versions of herself.
One, that was crying. Crying because she still believed she didn't deserve to be this happy. One that felt like Jimin could do better than her.
One, that wished Mia was here instead of her.
And their was Celine. Who was finally ready to let go of the darkness of her life. Who was ready to stop crying and waiting for something bad to happen. Who was going to live her life without fear, alongside the man she loved more than anything else.
She was ready.
"You look beautiful Cellie." Said a voice from beside her, startling the girl who hadn't realized anyone had come in.
She turned around, ready to talk to this perfect stranger before realizing exactly who it was.
"Sky?" Celine asked, her voice almost shaking.
Like she'd seen a ghost, she took in the man before her. A carbon copy of their father, with a tailored suit and strong jaw. Dark hair and dangerously intelligent eyes. She'd never forget that face.
"Do you not recognize your own brother?" Sky said, a laugh breaking out upon his lips.
He walked up behind her, forcing her chair to face the mirror. She stared at him in shock, to which he held up a gold necklace with a pearl on it. He unclasped it, placing the cold metal around her neck.
Ever since she'd visited her parents again, Sky had been absent. The only thing she received from him, a long letter full of regret. The only news of him from the tv.
Her brother had been petition for safer sex worker laws. He'd opened a counseling group for those who wished to get out. Had been working with a non-profit to help underage girls in the system.
It was his way of apologizing. Celine didn't know herself if it was enough.
But it was a start.
I've missed you.
I miss you.
"How? I mean w-what are you doing here? I thought-"
That he'd be too busy. He was never home, he had his own place and was set to get married too. He never came to the family meeting or any dinners they had since reuniting. He never answered the wedding RSVP.
"Hold still. This clasp is fighting me." He said, deep tone giving her comfort despite all the pain and questions she wished to unleash.
"I can't believe you're here."
He finished fidgeting with the necklace, getting it clasped and letting it fall into her skin. The girl clutched it, as if that were enough to glue together her broken family.
"I couldn't bare it. I felt so guilty. I still feel it everyday. And none of it compared to what you went through. I lost Mia, and now seeing you it-"
"It hurt me, it did. To see you ignore me. It was one thing, for mom and dad to. But I knew you didn't believe them, and you still left me alone." Celine finished, knowing just how terrible he felt.
She didn't want to lie. But she also didn't want to hurt him.
"I'm sorry that as your big brother, I wasn't able to protect my sister."
She could see it in his eyes. He couldn't protect Mia. He couldn't protect Celine. He felt like he failed at being an older brother.
"I'm so sorry."
Words that she always wanted to hear. Words that meant nothing now. Seeing him, was enough.
Him being here was enough.
"But you're here now. And that's all that matters."
"It's only the beginning of the piece offering. If you think I'm going to eventually miss out on being an uncle, think again."
She smiled, springing up to hug the cold business man. And he let it happen, settling into her and hugging his little sister back.
They separated and the man checked his watch. Seemingly, before he held out his arm for her.
"It's show time, and I'm walking you down the aisle."
Celine laughed again, utterly thrilled by the plan. For her brother was her idol, a person who she had always looked up to. Sought approval from.
She finally had it, which he showed through his softening eyes.
Together they walked through the French double doors, hearing the beginning of Celine's favorite piano piece, which marked the start of her journey down the aisle.
The girl caught sight of her parents, taking pictures endlessly. Her mom was crying, almost jumping out of her seat. Pointing to her two beautiful children.
Celine saw her friends, all lined up beside the man of her dreams. Beaming and offering her support beyond what she could have ever dreamed of. Yoongi sent her a wink, making her giggle slightly.
Finally, her eyes rested upon Jimin. The man was smiling, but even from far away she could tell silent tears rolled down his cheeks.
He looked beautiful. His black suit primed and cut to perfection, coating his lithe and elegant body. Silver hair parted and pulled back by gel, his delicate features shiny and clear. Ethereal and angelic. He looked like a prince. Beamed like a little boy on Christmas.
My god I am so in love.
A beam of light bursted from a window, lighting up a spot between the pastor and Jimin. Right where Celine would be standing. Like a pillar of quartz, the brightness made itself known. Sky smiled, giving a squeeze before letting go of her. She thanked him with a nod of her head and walked up to the makeshift alter. The warmth enveloped her as she stepped upon the area, feeling as if arms wrapped around in a hug.
"Stop crying, you'll ruin your concealer." She said, trying not to get emotional as she looked at her soon to be husband.
Jimin was usually just as quick with her, but he just couldn't today. He was stunned and filled with all. So shocked by the sentiment of it all, only words of adoration and wanton could leave his previous mouth.
The man gently grabbed her hands, kissing the knuckles and making her lips fall gently apart as he did so. She wished to grab the locks of his hair lift his lips to hers.
"You're so fucking beautiful. I mean, I know it's not your favorite thing to hear, but I can't help it. A freaking goddess is right in front of me." Jimin said, eyes taking every part of her in and making her feel absolutely stunning for once.
The man couldn't take his eyes off of her. And it caused more tears to fall from him, which she whisked away simply from him. His own joy and pain transferring to her with every motion.
She felt what he felt.
"I'll always be yours." She said quietly, causing the smile to grow on his familiar and beautiful face.
She saw it in her minds eye, the same look he had staring at her right now. It was the same when he'd first told her he loved her. The same when he watched her connect with Mia every now and then. The same smile on his face when she made it into his art show. The same when she went shopping with him. The same when she'd do something small like cook, or paint.
The same face when they first met.
It had always been the same. Jimin had always loved her.
"Everyone, I would like to start this ceremony by-" the pastor began to speak, causing the woman's heart to jolt.
This is it.
She thought to herself, staring into Jimin's dark onyx eyes.
I'm finally happy.
"I love you, I love you, I love you. Celine, Celine, Celine." Jimin said, his eyes closing shut and he gripped passionately onto her hands.
"Jimin I-"
The service continued. And yet neither really listened. Just looked into each others eyes, knowing they were surrounded by those they loved. And after years of hardship, family troubles, and any other obstacle life could throw their way they both made it.
They had turned one terrible mistake, into something pure and beautiful.
"Please now, say your vows."
Celine breathed harshly, feeling her hands start to sweat as she ran through the words in her head. Jimin knowing how awkward she was with affection, gave her an encouraging smile. He knew that doing this in front of everyone would be hard for her.
"Pretend it's just me Celine." He said, rubbing his thumb against her palm.
The girl smiled taking a deep breath before she began. Making sure their eyes were locked so the man would feel her words.
"I would have never thought myself to need someone to be complete, because that wasn't me. I laughed when people said they were missing apart of themselves, when they should be a whole person themselves. But after meeting you Jimin, it all made sense to me. There is a theory, that before the universe formed that there were just giant rocks of star dust. And when the big bang happened, they pulverized the dust that would eventually turn into the matter that created us. They say, soul mates are the tiny particles of star that were separated from the universe finally coming together in time once again. I can say I fully believe that theory now, two wholes of one person coming together to form a love that means more." She paused, trying not to cry as she looked at the love of her life.
His lips were parted, eyes pleading in a way as if he couldn't have her. But the only distance between them, was that of space. And yet that was too much for either of them.
"The love I have for you transcends time, thought, or rationale. Jimin, you'll always be my little yellow moon. And I hope I can be the blanket in the sky, that encompasses every star shining within you."
Their was a slight awe amongst the audience, making Celine as nervous as she was happy.
Jimin laughed slightly, voice ringing like a church bell.
"Wow, how do I go after that?"
The girl laughed, winking at the man before her, "You can't"
Jimin laughed again, kissing her hand before continuing. Taking the deepest breath she'd ever seen, from a man who barely got nervous. But at the moment, she could practically feel his heart beating out of his chest. It filled her with an unprecedented devotion for him.
"Celine, Kim Celine. You are the single most brilliant person I've ever met. And yet, you still don't believe it. I hope after this confession of mine, you'll start to. Kinder than you'd like to admit, you're a saint on earth. Prettier than you'd like to admit, in ways hidden underneath your skin, and much much worthy than you'd ever imagine. For your time and care are like precious metals needed to be mined to see."
"You're person of complexities that I have yet to unfold and take part in, but we have the rest of our lives to figure it out. You, you art, and your words are all apart of me now. I could never be without you, and every little piece of you that makes you what you are. And I'll forever be grateful for it. I love you Kim Celine, for filling the empty canvas of my life." His soft voice finished, looking at her with all the love in the world.
She could burst with joy. With grief. With admiration.
Celine felt so utterly protected and appreciated by Jimin. It was the most tangible thing. And yet so unseen, that it sewed their invisible souls together.
I love you, I love you, I love you.
Jimin. Jimin. Jimin.
"You may now kiss-"
Jimin leaned forward, any words or claps spoken around them forgotten. It was just them, and the softness of their lips saying what words could not reach.
"Let's go." Jimin said suddenly, pulling away from her. He smiled wildly, as he grabbed her hand and pulled her along with him off the alter.
He started running Celine gripping the sides of her dress, mouth tired from lips bursting with excitement and laughter. They ran out the doors of the palace to the open gardens that ran along the sides. The smell of gardenias and ocean air mixing and kissing their cheeks.
They laughed like children as they ran along, so happy they could nearly die in this moment.
Running and running till Jimin pointed to an area that overlooked the rest of France, nodding with his head and winking. Celine smirked back, knowing that's where he wished to be with her.
His wife.
Her husband.
They walked to the balcony, watching the sun fall upon the horizon. Inking the sky with colors wild and brazen, oranges and reds that could last a lifetime.
Jimin stood behind her chin resting in her shoulder.
Their bodies intertwined in perfect comfort.
Celine looked back, to see the gentle sun kiss her lovers face before it said goodbye.
He looked back, a small smile resting upon his pretty lips. A glow unseen in his crescent eyes, that she'd never get tired of.
"You look love-struck." Celine whispered out, looking up through her lashes at her husband. Repeating some of the first words she ever said to him. Their first night together, he had looked at her the same way. She wondered if he remembered.
The silver prince her starry night. Smile blinding like that of the stars.
He did. For which he responded, with the same words he said in the beggining. Though this time, he was telling the truth.
"This is not love. Not even in the slighest."
Jimin and Celine smiled, holding hands. Knowing that what they had was not love, not even the slightest.
It was more than that.

(A/N): okay but y'all knooowwww I had to do one more saucy scene for y'all.
Wow.
This is the actual end of Silk Sheets. I'm actually tearing up while writing this so excuse me...since its the actual end this time lol.
I really don't want it to be. So hopefully when I'm feeling it, I'll add chapter "updating" on their lives. But for the moment, it is over.
I hope you guys liked the wedding. I didn't focus that much on everyone's relationships and stuff because it was mostly about her and Jimin. Those situations can be inferred, but it was supposed to show they had all kind of moved on? But yes I really just wanted to focus on their love so sorry if you feel like it isn't complete. I may write more special chapters but not right now.
I can't even describe how amazing this whole experience was for me. What started as a simple way to let out my stress and forget about the world became much more than that.
These characters became real in a way, alive because of all of you. I can't even count, how many times someone has told me this book is their favorite. Or how they relate to the loneliness in some of the characters. Or how their perspective changed on certain topics.
Yes I loved writing this book. Yes, I fell in love with my characters. And yes, I love all my readers.
But I still ask myself why I'm so connected to this book, and why are people so connected with it along with me?
And the answer is
We've all been Celine. You've at some point struggled due to people underestimating you. You've been put down, to the point where you don't believe in yourself.
But then you get up.
We've all been Jimin. Pushed and pushed to the breaking point. So careful to please others, that you sometimes surpass on what you want.
Until you stand your ground.
We've all been Jeongguk. We've made mistakes that we wish we could take back. Darkness seems to cloud your life. It seems like there is no way out.
You learn things do get better.
These characters are all reflections of ourselves, in our worst moments. In our best. What we want to see in ourselves, or what we want to ignore.
But we can't ignore ourselves. We can only self reflect, and become better.
You love these characters. You love them for their faults, and you support them through their growth.
So my hope is, everyone can provide themselves with the same sort of love and hope.
Thank you guys!
This is the end of silk sheets 💞 for now
(I may do a christmas special or summer special or whatever later idk.)
BUt right now its over (tear). LOve u guys!!!
Au Revoir!
