"I was fine
Before you came into my life
Circle in my mind
Like the very first time
I wish I'd never laid my eyes on you
I wish I'd never stayed the night with you." Danger-Jaqui Siu

Waking up dehydrated is never fun.

Waking up on a hard couch is even less enjoyable.

Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, Celine got up knowing that Jeongguk may still be around.

She went to the bedroom and saw that he was gone. Just like the day before.

It was a blessing and a curse.

Having him there, would cause her tremendous pain. She wasn't sure whether she'd be able to stand another fight like that. She hated the fact that it wasn't resolved either.

The well rested girl walked into the kitchen, and directly to the fridge. Through the reflective surface could see her hazy image. No makeup, hair a mess, yet a face full of vitality. Fly aways drifting around her pale face like little wafts of smoke.

She grabbed a bottle of water, and a tub of cream cheese. Luckily Jeonnguk didn't eat all the bagels. A plain one was available, and she coated it with a healthy layer of cream.

They didn't see eye to eye. And he was rude to her because of it.

Deep down she'd already forgiven him. Because without Jeongguk, where would she be?

What would she do?

"Nothing," he had said, when she had first moved in and asked what she would do if he decided to break up with her.

Alone. Cold. And screwed.

Jeongguk would have to come to her. He'd have to apologize. And she wouldn't tell him anything about art anymore. She'd store it in her box of secrets.

Celine bit into her piece of heaven, sitting down on the couch again. Just thinking, wondering where everything went wrong.

Not everything about last night was bad.

It was so unexpected, but she felt like she had a real friend. If only for a moment.

Celine knew Jimin better, but she still felt left in the dark. There were so many questions about him. The way he was so open, but so closed off all at once. It was a puzzle she'd eventually like to figure out.

Shaking away thoughts that led somewhere darker, the flustered girl decided to take a shower. It was needed.

The bathroom was the best part of the house. It had heated floors, and was walled with black marble. The counters and appliances were silver granite.

She stepped into the glass chamber, putting her gray fluffy robe to the side. The shower stall was better than the bath. It had built in speakers. The water came out on all four walls and the ceiling of the shower. Adjusting the heat to scorching, she got in trying to burn away her thoughts.

"Play Fantasy." She told the speaker. It immediately responded by filling the echoing bath with a deep bass.

Celine closed her eyes, letting the warm water pour over her body. Getting lost in the numbing sensation of the water. Feeling every beat and every note.

The song made her smile.

It made her think of Jimin.

Stop thinking about him.

Or how the kiss felt just so right.

Jeongguk was a good kisser. Technically. It was always agressive, even in public. He always lead, dominating and making her switch to his rhythm.

Jimin on the other hand, kissed like a river flowing through a mountain. The movements were slow, deep, and often kept her spellbound. They moved together, dancing to the tune of the melody they made up.

God she could not be comparing the two right now. Hitting her head against the cold shower wall, she reflected with internal scrutiny.

One big difference was that one was her boyfriend and the other was not.

She wanted to blame the kiss on her high. The need to feel something, to have that sensation amplified. But she knew the truth.

It was just him. How he made her laugh and smile. And the soft way that he talked. And the way that his eyes sparkled. And the way he kept biting his pink lips.

The kiss was not supposed to happen. They were in no agreement to do it. Jimin didn't ask her to. They weren't being forced to do it.

That kiss in particular was dangerous.

The fact that it was unsolicited. It made her wonder what it meant for the two of them.

If it meant anything at all.

The short girl got out, wrapping her fuzzy black towel around her. She quickly ran out of the bathroom, wanting to get her shivering body into some warm clothes. Throwing on a pair of fleece socks, sweatpants, and a sweater was good enough for her.

Long hair twisted in a bun, and no makeup would just have to do.

After getting dressed, she laid on her bed feeling uninspired. Scrolling through Instagram was almost painful for her. She'd click on names she wasn't supposed to. Her brother. Going through the pictures knowing she wouldn't see her face.

The doorbell rang, making her flop around in the bed.

The brunette hesitantly got up, face narrowing with suspicion. Celine didn't remember buying anything. Cautiously she went up to the door, standing on her tippy toes to see through the peep hole.

No one was there. Just a small, white embroidered box with a pink bow across the top.

"Is this a bomb?" She asked herself wondering if she should open it. Her nervous habit of biting her lip made an appearance. After realizing she wasn't important enough to be murdered, the girl figured it was safe to open it.

Peeling of the tape strip by strip, the mystery inside began to unfold. With her nimble fingers, she lifted the flaps and pulled pink tulle out from the box.

From the box she pulled a medium sized, white art easel. Three legs, and a piece across to hold a canvas on. Her name, written in blue calligraphy along the middle piece.

There was a piece of small paper lying within the tulle. It said it was hand crafted in Paris, France. In a shop near the Louvre, called Un Petit Amour. It just so happened to be her favorite place to buy art supplies. One of the most expensive places in the world. She's wanted one of their easels since she could remember.

How could he even afford this?

There was only one person who knew it was her favorite.

A small string hung off the side. A square note dangling of it. Celine's hand was placed over her mouth with elated shock, her eyes almost so narrowed with a smile she couldn't see.

The note read:

"I hope you're feeling better. Use this to paint me something beautiful."-J

J.

J

J. So many letters in the world. So many people who carried that letter.

(A/N: She knows it's Jimin! Can't make it more clear now. But yeah right here it's supposed to show you she knows and she is choosing to ignore it. Js 🥰🥰)

Celine's heart twisted in her chest, but she kept that smile on her face. The one where she separated her mind from her body, and let go of all her thoughts.

Dangerous thoughts of other J names. Soft nights and stolen kisses.

Jimin. No, she wouldn't even let herself go there.

It wasn't possible. And it wouldn't be, if she willed it so.

Lie. Deny. Repeat.

Instead, instead she thought of happy, possible things. Things that fit into the framework of the life she already created.

She swore she could have forgiven Jeongguk then. Happy tears started to roll down her cheeks. Her heart swelled with more affection than she thought possible. Because it had to be him who had given this gift.

It had to be.

He must have realized his mistake. His lack of support. Her excitement was uncontainable.

Her hands kept running up and down the soft wood, admiring the way small flowers were etched into it. Dainty and as pretty as a spring day. This is something she's always wanted.

Just in perfect timing, she got a call from Jeongguk. She flailed around, wiping away the sappy tears as he picked up this call.

"Hello!" She yelled happily into the phone.

Her boyfriend chuckled loudly, but still sounded a bit uneasy. Like he wasn't sure if there was still bad blood between them.

"You sound like you're in a better mood." The dark haired man stated in a relieved way. Maybe even with a hint of surprise.

Her smile brightened as she jumped up and down on the living room couch. She giggled, landing on her back. Feeling like she was flying.

"How could I be in a bad mood when I have the best boyfriend in the world?"

"You got a point there. Look, I feel like an ass Celine. I want to have dinner. After we can hangout with my friends tonight. You up for it?" He asked hesitantly. The 19 year old was using his shy voice.

Again, she felt so happy. The love of her life was amazing. How could she have ever doubted him? Dinner would be amazing. She'd get closer to his friends. The apology was easy to accept.

She just hoped Jimin and her wouldn't be awkward. She didn't want him to think she was weird for kissing him. Celine was prepared to pull him aside and tell him it was the weed. Because, it had to be.

Many things just had to be as they were originally designed.

"That sounds great." Celine said enthusiastically.

Jeongguk stayed silent for a couple seconds, confused as to why she wasn't mad anymore. Her grudges could last for centuries. Even so, she never sounded this excited about anything. She was more calm, a chill sort of person.

But he wasn't going to complain.

"Great! I'll pick you up at 5:30. We're going to Hoseok's club so wear something sexy." Jeonnguk replied.

"Easy for me. Will do." Celine said, rolling back her shoulders.

"I love you, and you're mine." Said Jeongguk, voice lower and full of care.

She smiled into the phone,"I love you too."

She went to her bedroom, feeling like the world was normal again. Her and Jeongguk made up. Everything would be okay.

Celine walked into her room, hurrying to get ready. Sometimes getting ready was more fun than actually going out. Turning on her speakers, the girl put on her favorite playlist.

Walking to her closet, she picked out a black off the shoulder dress. She'd wear tights underneath it due to the harsh weather. On top, she'd wear a waist cinching pea coat.

Celine danced around the room as she got ready, a giddiness in her heart she forgot she could experience.

It wasn't easy, half dancing half putting on makeup. She used to want to be a dancer, before everything happened. She applied foundation, black smoky shadow, and a deep red lip. She slid her black dress over her body, making sure everything looked good an in place.

Celine looked in the mirror, taking pride in her appearance. Jeongguk asked for sexy and that's what he'd get. It was all about them tonight.

She was already done. It was 5:15. The next 15 minutes was spent sitting in the living room anxiously. She couldn't wait to see Jeongguk.

She guessed she'd have to give Jeongguk an excuse of why she had no work tonight. Honestly, ever since Jimin offered her money, she hadn't felt the need to find a sugar daddy. Her focus would on her art. Now that she could pay half of Jeongguk's rent with this money and save up a bit for a studio.

As soon as 5:30 rolled around she walked outside. Of course, her business boyfriend was punctual as always. She was glad, because her tights weren't doing much to fight the cold. Heels crunching onto thin leftover snow, she got into the black Mercedes Benz.

"Wow, you look hot." Said an impressed Jeongguk.

She could say the same about him. His dark haired was all tousled, falling gently across his forehead. His eyes looked lethargic, in a good way from work. The irises taking a dark glow as he looked her up and down. Facial expression slightly irate, eyebrow raised.

A look she knew all too well.

He wore a black fitted suit, one that strained against his muscles as he turned the car into a different lane. He looked really good.

"Don't pop a boner or anything." Celine said, leaning forward to kiss them as they stopped at a red light.

Jeongguk fed into her energy, aggressively kissing her back. He tasted of mint and something more floral. They pulled back from each other, his large eyes looking shook.

"I feel it coming, I feel it coming babe." He said, making his voice about five octaves higher. Being extra.

She gave him the most done look ever. Basically giving him dead eyes. Hoping he'd realize he was a loser before she said it.

"You're like The Weeknd's really distant cousin the Weekday in comparison." Celine said, all the while turning up the heat. The tension that was there before was killed with his goofy mannerisms.

Jeongguk just lifted his chin, giving her some side eye. The man only using one hand to drive.

"Alright, I see that I have haters. It just means I'm relevant."

"Whatever let's you sleep at night."

They both couldn't hold it in any longer and started to laugh. His hand wrapped around hers, and she relished in its warmth. The dark haired man sent her a soft smile, and she felt okay again. Her sweet man was back.

After about 10 more minutes they arrived in front of a grand building. This skyscraper was a bit different. It's black stature contrasted vastly with the light gray sky. Instead of having see through windows, it was all reflective like glass. At the front door there were two uniformed men.

"We're here." Said her boyfriend, pulling over so a valet could park the car.

They both stepped out, Celine's winter coat making it difficult to open the car door. Jeongguk slipped the young valet $200, hitting the man on the back and giving him a handshake.

"Does that say Jung? As in Jung Hoseok?" Celine asked, craning her neck to see the sign on the front of the building. She remembered Hoseok vaguely saying he had a lot of real estate in the city.

Jeongguk looked around, placing his hand on the small of her back and forcing her to move forward,"Yeah, he owns the place. The bottom for is dining and the top is where the club is at."

They walked in, and Celine was in awe. Just like Hoseok's house, the place was set up to look like paradise. The whole place was perfectly designed, quiet in a fanciful way. Someone came up behind her and her boyfriend, immediately taking their coats.

"Right this way Mr. Jeon." Said a host. They gave the couple a smile as they led them to their table.

The young girl was impressed. He didn't even have to say his name. The workers were very professional and perfect. Just like their boss.

"Wow, it's extravagant." Celine commented, sitting down in the luxurious red booth they were taken to. It was very private, and gave them a cozy little corner to talk in.

Jeongguk smiled, handing her a menu. The lines on his cheeks stood out, and his cute teeth came into view. Her little bunny.

"Anything for you." She took the menu, feeling so special. Jeongguk was usually like this. Willing to give her the world, and openly show his appreciation for her. Everything about tonight would be perfect.

"Hello, my name is So Mi, I'll be your server today. What would you like to drink?" Said a young waitress. She was dressed in all black, and overall was a pretty girl.

Celine saw the way she barely glanced at her, most of her attention was on Jeongguk. Who could blame her? Especially when he looked that dapper in a suit. Her boyfriend noticed as well, for he sat up straighter, painting on a fabricated smile.

"Cherry wine. For me and my lady." He said, sending the flirtatious waitress a wink. His girl friend sat, watching as the younger girl flitted away with red cheeks. She knew he liked to try and make her jealous.

It really never worked.

"Did you just wink at her?" Celine asked, slightly amused. Her eyes connected with his dark ones as she took a sip of water. It didn't piss her off really.

He's done stuff like that before.

"Yeah, I'm trying get a discount." He said, giving her a slight wink as well. He flexed his muscles the best he could in his dress suit.

"Oh my god."

The waitress came back and they ordered the food. No flirting this time. Everything was fine till that moment. Smiles and excited emotions distracted from the problem at hand. The elephant in the room had crept back into the situation.

She felt nervous, her sweaty hands twisting under the table. What if he got mad again? What could she possibly do then? What if he actually had called Jimin and told him not to look at her work? Her anxiety melted away as his smooth voice spoke.

"In all seriousness. We should really talk about yesterday." The man said, his dark brown eyes staring into hers apologetically.

Or was it apologetically? This is the only time the entire night where he looked bored and almost zoned out.

She also didn't forget the disrespectful way he treated her. The angry way he talked to her. Even if she he was her boyfriend, that kind of behavior couldn't stand anymore.

She was tired

"Okay. Don't act like that much of an arrogant prick ever again." Celine said, only letting a hint of anger color her tone. She could feel her face tense up, an expression filled with disapproval.

No one would talk to her that way anymore.

Not even the man she loved.

"I know." He said, bowing his head down in shame. His jaw clenched as he swallowed harshly, his eyes fixing on everything but her.

Frustration rose within her. Jeongguk needed to look at her, understand what she was saying. Reaching across the table, she gently lifted his smooth chin so he'd look at her. The regret in his eyes was obvious, but she needed to focus on what she felt.

"No, I don't think you know. Don't you ever undermine my talents like that. I am a hard worker, I strive to be better. I'm intelligent, and I just so happen to be "pretty" according to some people. Just because I fit into one category, doesn't mean I can't fit into others."

"Alright, I know. What I said was really dumb and wrong. And not true. I painted Jimin in an uncanny light, and I hurt you." Jeongguk said, his voice barely above a whisper. He looked like a little kid admitting a wrong doing to a parent.

"Yeah." Celine said abruptly.

The girl leaned back, relishing in his admittance of being wrong. This is the first time it's ever happened.

Jeongguk tried to hide his smirk. He always thought she looked hot when she was angry. Though he was sweet, he was also very stubborn as well. It took a lot for him to say he was wrong.

"Got it. And if the art thing with Jimin doesn't work out, will you promise to give it up?"

His question startled her. Give it up?

But then, she remembered the easel at home. He wouldn't have bought her that if he didn't believe she'd succeed. Jeongguk was expecting her to succeed. This must be his way of letting her know he'd support her, but in a way that wouldn't hurt his pride.

"Yeah, if that's truly what you want." She said, smiling widely. Liking that they had this little joke between them now. The sly way he was complimenting her made her heart beat wildly against her chest.

The food arrived and they both started eating diligently. Her appetite came back as soon as they sorted out their differences.

"See, I knew we'd get over this rough patch. We work so well together. We always have." The dark haired man said, he said with a haughty smile. His fork clanging loudly against the hard ceramic plate.

Celine smirked, ready to ruin his affectionate words.

"Like that one time we were at the zoo."

"Celine-"

"And I told you not to jump the fence holding the giraffes."

"Do we have to go there-"

"And they started chasing after you. I had to basically parkour up the cement wall and lift you out of there because you wanted to be "one with the wild?"'Celine finished, watching with an aching satisfaction.

His head was basically buried in his food, his cheeks all red. Face all scrunched up with mock un amusement. Body almost sliding completely under the table in embarrassment. Jeongguk was clenching his fists, the metal fork more than likely leaving an indent on his skin.

"See. If we didn't have team work I would have died." The man said, shaking his head as he remembered the situation. He tried riding Lenny the giraffe.

Lenny didn't like that one bit.

He kept giving Celine some side eyes, until they bursted out laughing. She remembered how stupid he looked as he ran away from the animal.

"Would you like desert?" The waitress said, interrupting their laughter. From the way she looked at Celine, it was probably on purpose.

"Just the check please." Jeongguk said, wiping away tears as Celine tried to calm herself down.

When the check came back, Jeongguk didn't let her look. He slid his red credit card into the holder, signing the paper. But Celine managed to catch the edge of the receipt. It looked like a number with a smiley face was scrawled on the top.

"Are you going to take that?" Celine asked, tapping her fingers calmly on the table. Obviously the waitress gave her his number.

"No, I have photographic memory." Jeongguk said with a shrug of his shoulders.

His girlfriend reached across the table, smacking the laughing man on the shoulder.

She rolled her eyes, getting up out of the seat. They pretended like he didn't say that. Jeongguk quickly walked her to the elevator, his own excitement rubbing off on her. Everyone told her Hoseok's club was always a good time, so she was expecting a lot. Though at the same time, she was preparing herself to see a certain person.

They got to the top, doors opening to a huge crowd of people. Jeongguk looked back at her, raising one eyebrow as if asking her if it was amazing. Celine stepped out with him, grabbing his large hand. It was crazy.

Loud Latino music blared from the speakers on a large glass sound stage. Celine started to throw her hips side to side, because Mi Gente was her fucking jam. People were dancing hard, pulsating to the music around them.

Neon lights spiraled around the room, the floor covered in a mist made but a huge fog machine. Still, it held that classy vibe that was hard to keep when alcohol and dancing was involved. She wanted to go to the dance floor but Jeongguk kept pulling her arm, bringing her closer to a seating area near the bar.

Jeongguk didn't like to dance in public, he got embarrassed. He could barely watch his own girlfriend dance. He often let Celine find a group of girls to dance with for the night. Weaving in and out of sweaty people, they finally closed in on a fancy looking table.

Before they even arrived, she saw like brownish orange hair and a tall man sitting next to him. Of course it was two out of three friends. Mr. Park must have been at the bar or something.

"Hey Hoseok!" Celine yelled, pulling away from Jeongguk and dancing over to him.

He got up, smiling and shimmying over to her. The man smiled wide, investing her with light as he gave her a big hug,"Hey Celine, you look radiant."

He had to yell over the music, but she still felt appreciated. They both were almost salsa-ing together, smiling and laughing. Jeongguk went to go take a seat with a calm Jin. Their orange haired friend wore a sequined shirt, red jacket, and dark black pants. And he was killing it.

"Thank you so much. I could say the same to you." She said seriously, nodding at him.

"Then do it, what are you waiting for?" Jin answered back instead, making them both turn around. He wore a black suit with purple accents, making his dark hair and features stand out.

"Jin, let's keep the harassment to a minimum tonight." Jeongguk answered him, laughing at the scene between Hoseok and Celine. They both loved to dance.

"Don't speak to your elder that way." Replied a Jin, his eyes widening in a dangerous way.

"C'mon Juan, let's go get some drinks for our equally radiant friends." Hoseok said, dancing away from Celine much to her distaste. He pulled up the larger Jeongguk, who looked like he was about to throw hands.

Hoseok sent me an apologetic smile, asking us what we wanted to drink. The two friends finally disappeared into the crowd of people, leaving me and Jin alone.

From the way he was mischievously smiled at me, I knew he was going to ask questions. I hesitantly sat down next to him, shamefully looking down at my feet.

"Is Jimin not coming?" The younger girl asked, finally realizing the silver haired man wasn't with them. She craned her head, checking around the room. Hoping to check a flash of silver hair.

"No, he had some important business to attend to. Somewhere in France but I'm not sure where." Jin said, watching her with intent. Maybe she didn't realize, but he saw the way her eyes dimmed and her shoulders sagged as he said it.

Her heart almost beat out of her chest.

No. Just no.

Like that, she willed the thought away.

"Oh, okay." She said, voice dropping. The girl wondered why it annoyed her that he wasn't there. It wasn't her fault, right?

"So sweetie, tell me what's up." Jin asked, moving his whole body closer to her on the couch. He sat with his back straight, legs crossed like he knew he was about to be talking shit.

The girl swallowed loudly, knowing he wouldn't take no for an answer.

She explained to him the night they met on the elevator. How she had been meeting Jimin. Jin gasped, putting a hand on his chest.

"I knew it!"

Celine shot him a look, causing him to stay quiet for the rest of the story.

She explained that she had multiple sugar daddy's before. Ever since she turned 18 that has been her occupation. He asked why, and she told the kind man she'd tell him another time. Then, she went on to explain how she met and fell for Jeongguk. How her job never seemed to have an affect on their relationship. How he never knew about it.

Celine told Jin she had no clue Jimin was the Park Jimin. And he thought she was just a random girl named angel. That when they met at Hoseok's that is when everything clicked. Celine felt like everything was over, and that Jimin was going to tell. But he surprisingly didn't.

He offered to be a full time sugar daddy to her.

She accepted.

And how her and Jeongguk got into a huge fight.

And now she was here, confused as hell about everything in her life.

"Holy fuck. You're in deep." Jin said, taking this all in. His chest was heaving, trying to comprehend every complex and stupid decisions his friends had made.

"I'm also an idiot." Celine said softly, with a weak smile. The crippling weight of keeping secrets was starting to get to her.

At least she had one confidant.

Jin gave her a sympathetic look, putting a light hand on top of her own.

"Look, I like you. I can tell that aside from this, you're genuine in every way. Celine, you wouldn't hurt anyone if you had the choice. I'm not going to tell Jeongguk. I'll do my best to help you guys out. You must be going through something right now, other than this mess. You're not an idiot you're human."

She smiled, taking in his kind words. It made her feel a little less horrible, but didn't dull the tension in her chest.

He didn't curse her out. He didn't blame her for anything. He didn't call her a home wrecking slut. Didn't call her out for playing with two of his friends. The man didn't hate her, but how?

It made her feel less like a monster, and more like a girl who was figuring out life.

"I know, Jin. I just don't know what to do." She said, her throat starting to feel tight from stress.

"The only advice I'm going to give you is follow your heart." The full lipped man said, staring deep into her eyes. He nudged her, sending an awkward wink as he did it.

The music was blaring, so for a second she thought she heard him wrong. That turned out not to be the case.

"What? Bitch what kind of advice is that?" The pretty girl said, lifting an accusatory brow.

Jin shook his head and continued, flashing lights dancing across his handsome face.

"The good kind. I can't force you to tell Jeongguk. You won't listen. Your job is obviously helping you out in some way shape or form. You can't give that up. Jimin is obsessed with you, I've seen the way he looks at you. I know him, and I know you won't give you up. And you seem to be attached to him as well. I will talk to Jimin, to see what's going on. Do what you need to do. And I'll be there to support you along the way."

Celine's face turned a darker shade of red. Her hands came out in front of her, rejecting the idea she was in any way shape or form connected to Jimin in a non sexual way.

"I'm not attached-"She started, voice high pitched.

"The vag wants, what the heart can't have." Jin said with pursed lips. He gave her a look screaming that he called bullshit.

"I'm with Jeongguk. I love him." She said, as if saying the words out loud would prove it. Her voice was strong, steely with conviction.

She looked Jin straight into his black eyes. He looked back, still as dubious as before.

"And that may be true. Just don't deny yourself true happiness." He said again.

She nodded her head, though she couldn't wrap her head around what he was saying. She was happy. All she ever tried to be was happy.

Jeongguk was her happiness. Even when he made her angry, he was her light. Why would she ever deny him?

"This actually is good advice. Thanks Jin." Celine said, thankful she got to talk to someone.

Jin sent her a smile,"You know it."

"But can I ask why you're doing this? Keeping this secret?" She was curious why he'd be willing to betray Jeongguk in a sense.

It must be a hard decision. Was the decision based on being a good friend? Or trying to keep the peace?

The answer was something unexpected.

One that required several more questions, and time that didn't exist.

"I owe Jimin my life." Said Jin, usually goofy demeanor gone. The pale look of his face showed his loyalty ran deeper than she would ever know.

"Ahhh, its JK hahuha!" Jin exclaimed loudly, he immediately stood up chuckling harder than needed. The older man slapped the younger harshly on his back.

Celine sat in silence, heart pounding as Jeongguk and Hoseok walked closer. She realized Jin was tying to play off there serious tone, as if they weren't having the conversation at all.

My boyfriend didn't suspect anything, for he sent her a lazy smile. The young girl could tell he already had a couple beers at the bar. His hair was slightly messier, his movements more loose.

"Here we go! A sex on the beach for me, a vodka on the rocks for Jin, and a diet rum and coke for my lady." Jeongguk said, handing her a cold drink.

They were all standing now, moving to the music and taking small sips.

"Diet?" Celine said, sneering. She never got drinks like these, she loved sugar. He knows she never drinks this stuff.

Jeongguk shrugged, clinking glasses with his friends,"Yeah, its healthier."

"I asked for a Long Island Iced Tea." She said calmly, not trying to cause a scene.

Hoseok looked over, trying to catch Jeongguk's attention. Like he was trying to get him to stop talking.

"We don't need you to get messy drunk."

Jin gasped, choking on his drink. He sent his friend a look, but Jeongguk just laughed. Started to impersonate her "drunk voice." Said that she liked to "show off her butt and dance with guys". That he got jealous and didn't like it.

Hoseok and Jin looked outraged, but Celine kept a smile on her face. He was drunk, he didn't mean what he was saying. She sent them a smile, trying to show them she wasn't pissed off.

"Whatever, I've carried you home before. And I'm not usually messy." The girl said in a joking manner, slapping his arm.

"You have been an embarrassing drunk. You just don't remember. I'm okay with it Celine, your body makes up for it."

Celine shook her head, really wondering if for a second she really did embarrass him while drunk. The girl never really liked the feeling of being too inebriated she lost control of herself. It was like Jeongguk was trying to put a false image of herself in her head.

She didn't like it.

Jeongguk pulled her towards him, pushing his warm body against hers. He planted a wet kiss on her neck, laughing into her skin. Her face flushed as he grabbed her intimately right in front of his friends. She tried to push him back a bit, but he was heavy weight when he was drunk.

"You look so gorgeous. Aren't we just a pretty picture?" Jeongguk said, looking to the side at his friends.

Hoseok looked at the floor, not answering.

"I see three 4/10s and then there's me." Jin said, downing the rest of his drink. He kept his clenched fists to the side.

Jeongguk sighed, wrapping his arm around his beautiful girl friend's waist.

"Alright, we need some alone time." The dark haired man said.

"Agreed." Celine said, not wanting to do this in front of everyone.

They started to walk away, when Jin grabbed her hand. He looked at her seriously.

"You good?" He asked, voice barely above a whisper. Hoseok stood to the side distracting Jeongguk.

"Yeah. Goodbye guys!"

She said smiling, waving happily. She wanted to get out of there, it worried her how they were staring at them. Like they were worried for her. There was nothing to be worried about. Jeongguk started to pull her to a balcony area, as soon as his orange haired companion walked away from him.

They waved in return. But they didn't look happy. They looked worried.

And then they disappeared behind a wall of bodies, fog, and neon lights.

She felt better as soon as they were outside. Leaning across the cold concrete balcony, she looked out. The cold winter wind whipped across her face, turning her cheeks into pink gumdrops. Her eyes took in the Seoul skyline, and how the lights stretched across the city like stars.

It was breathtaking.

Jeongguk walked up beside her, leaving her just as amazed.

His strong jaw, his fiery gaze. His smooth hair, and his defined nose. He was so handsome.

She wondered how she could go from loving no one, to loving someone so much. But he made it possible.

"Thanks, for the present you left me at home. It's beautiful, I wonder how much it cost you." She said, sweet voice almost lost in the wind. The words felt shy, as they carried over to the man she loved.

"Don't worry about it. Hoseok gave me a discount for here." Jeongguk replied, looking a lot more sobered up. He was less shaky, and way more stable than before.

Celine laughed, loving his humble personality.

"No, I'm talking about the easel." She replied, laughing at his mistake.

Silly, easy mistake.

"The what?" He asked, eyes narrowed, fully turning to her.

Now it was her turn to be confused. Her face reddened, recalling the present she got from this morning. How could he already forget about it?

"The easel you bought me. I'm saying it was sweet that you did that."

"What are you talking about? I didn't buy you one." He said, no ounce of joking in his voice.

But that couldn't be possible.

He was drunk. He had to be confused.

He had to be confused. Must've been. Because that would mean something that Celine could not entertain.

"Huh?" She asked again, feeling crazy at this point. He was the only one who knew. The only one that could have.

Pretend pretend pretend.

Who would have any reason too.

"I didn't buy you that. This night was the present." Jeongguk said, looking at her like she was making it up.

"Then..." She started, trailing off as as she willed herself not to say the name.

Then my little world of make believe will be ripped away from me.

She felt a chill flash up her spine. Eyes widened. Heart beating. It all made too much sense. And she couldn't deny it anymore.

She couldn't play pretend. She couldn't lie to herself and say her boyfriend had done something so thoughtful.

When he had denied it with his own words aloud.

How the note just said from J.

"Paint something for me."

How he was gone.

Jin said that he was in Paris, where the easel was from.

How Jeongguk didn't even ask if she liked it.

How he still wanted her to quit.

Park Jimin had got her the gift. Just to make her feel better.

All things she had taken into account, but simply couldn't handle.

"Is something wrong?" Jeongguk asked, his hands wrapping around her face. He must have seen the glassy tears forming in her eyes.

Yes, something is wrong. This man who paid to sleep with me has done something more thoughtful than you have the entire relationship.

And I feel guilty for even thinking it.

"No, never mind. I must be getting tired."  Unable to look at him.

Why was she mad that it wasn't him?

Why did she hate the fact that it was Jimin?

"Are you feeling okay?" He asked, becoming more concerned by the minute.

"Yeah I'm fine. Perfect actually." Celine said, beautifully playing off a lie.

No she wasn't.

Why was this true? Why did it have to be? She would have rather believed he had done it all along.

How had someone who didn't know her at all, give her something she'd always wished for?

"You really do look lovely tonight." Jeongguk said, nuzzling closer to her. His structured lips landing on her own.

"Is that all?" She asked, pulling away from him. She looked into his blank stare, trying to find something.

That spark. That look that recognized she was not only a body but a soul.

"You look amazing?" He said again, voice raising. The man gave her one of those cute bunny smiles. One that was meant to rid her of coherent thought.

But she was more focused than ever.

That was not what she wanted to hear.

She didn't even know what she wanted.

The only thing she knew, is that she didn't want to be a statue. Beautiful on the outside, cold and uncared about on what was inside. For she could feel her heart hardening with plaster and rock.

"Never mind, thanks babe. I'm ready to go home now." Celine said, feeling her voice start to shake.

The man nodded his head, oblivious to her internal turmoil. Oblivious to the depth she wished to reach with him.

The car ride home was long. Silent. He was tired, and she didn't know what to say.

Just felt guilty in a strange way.

Felt exhausted of playing a part that was becoming harder, and harder to act out.

"I'm going to bed." Jeongguk said simply, as they stepped inside the dark apartment.

"I'll be there in a minute." Celine replied, letting him plant a small kiss on her lips. Hoping he wouldn't taste the salty tears that landed on hers.

But then...

She stood there. In the dark, listening to his dissipating footsteps. Staring at the pristine easel in the middle of their living room floor. Empty and maybe a little lonely. Everything black in that room. Except the acid dyed white, bright would. Ready to be used to create something out of this world.

Thank you Jimin.

But I wish we'd never met.

For your sake. And for Jeongguk's.

But I have a feeling that I'm the only one who will be better off by meeting you.

(A/N) DNA-BÏTCH WTF

Honestly, it's so creative. It's literally one of the most interesting songs I've ever heard. At first I couldn't even comprehend it, but honestly it's genius in a way. The music video is amazing as always and THE FREAKIN CHOREO!!!! INSANE! And they are all so beautiful. Like they can't be human. All of them shined in their own special way! I love them so much :)

Comment your fave songs from the album! Mine are Serendipity, Sea, DNA, and GO GO.

Sorry that Jimin isn't directly in this chapter! But y'all asked to see the relationship between her and Jeongguk. What do you think about it?

And don't you just love Jin and Hoseok in this?
