3-Under the Influence

"We're both just a little afraid, And I forget I want to fight with this. Cause when we are alone, I'm under the influence of you." Under the influence-Snoh Aalegra

Celine looked down at her phone, freezing when she saw the number. She was able to tell who it was. The last text was about their meeting.

unknown:

Meet me in the drawing room, wait until the food comes out.

Celine:

Why would I do that?

unknown:

Because you have a secret. And I need answers.

Celine:

Where is the drawing room?

unknown:

Through the doorway and to the right. Say you're going to the bathroom.

Celine let out a cough, almost upchucking her water. She felt Jeongguk hitting her back, running a hand along her forearm. She looked up at Jimin, who held a finger up to his lips, curved into a slight smile. Like he was telling her to be quiet.

"Are you okay honey? Do you need something." Jeongguk said, voice filled with concern. Hoseok got more water for her. Jin just looked on with an eyebrow raised.

"No, I'm fine really." She said, finally coming back to her senses and sitting straight in the chair.

"So how did you and Jeongguk meet?" Asked Jin, laying his perfectly structured face on his hands.

Jeongguk smiled, and spoke for her.

"We met at a gala. Our parents are both involved with business. Of course we were dragged along to these events. I've always hated them, threw a fit every time I was forced to go. But now I'm glad it happened. I saw her across the room, and thought she was the most beautiful person there." He finished, sending a proud smile my way.

Hoseok looked between us both, gushing with excitement.

"Don't worry guys, he likes my personality too." She said, rolling her eyes at the man next to her.

She hoped.

Jimin chuckled, before she shot him a quick glare. He held up his hands in surrender.

"Oh stop, they know what I mean. I'm pretty sure I never shut up about how amazing you are."

She knew he meant it, but sometimes she wished he would say it. Celine hated feeling like she was just a pretty face, when it was the opposite of true. It happened regularly where people underestimated her. She didn't want this group of people to see her in that light.

"To be fair, I don't care what comes out of your mouth. As long as it wraps around me by the end of the night."

She shivered, willing away the memories.

"It's true." Hoseok said matter of factly. He spouted off some orders to his servants before looking back at the table.

She watched in awe as the group talked around her. The boys had the kind of friendship dynamic everyone wished for. It made you wonder if somehow everything on this world was destined to be.

Jin was the parent of the friend group. He was very good looking, but also so dorky it almost made you forget it. His laugh was amazing. She knew he'd always try to protect his friends. Even if it was from the truth.

Hoseok was very outgoing. There wasn't a moment where he wasn't doing something goofy. He seemed to enjoy bothering his friends till they gave in, especially Jimin. He was the positive energy of the group that kept them together.

Jeongguk was the youngest, but it never really seemed like it. He was quiet, and would suddenly burst out with something funny. He was much more exuberant with his friends.

Celine felt at home with all of them. She laughed harder than she ever had in her life. She could see her and Hoseok becoming good friends. Jin almost felt like a possible brother figure.

And there was Jimin.

Whenever she turned, she'd meet his eyes. That sense of comfort she felt melted away and turned into uncertainty. Celine knew he had already been staring. If Jeongguk was golden Jimin was silver. It sent a chill up her spine. She tried not to pay attention to him. It didn't work.

Because she heard him laugh. She was surprised from the sound, even more surprised to see it coming from him. It sounded like small chiming bells. She turned her head to see the man's eyes almost shut, pink lips curled up. Cheeks lined with happiness.

The man was enigmatic. The image she painted of him from their appointment was gone. He wasn't the fancy CEO from the night before. He wasn't dominant or arrogant. He was just Park Jimin with his friends.

She'd never seen a man so giggly, so soft and cold all at once. He'd attempt to hide his laughter, but would fail and hit Jin beside him. He was extremely sarcastic and liked to tease his friends, but they didn't care. They just thought it was cute.

Celine noticed the little things. She saw the way he pretended that Jin wasn't funny, but then would continue to laugh at his jokes. Jin would allow his younger companion to cuddle into him. How he always humored Hoseok, and gave him small smiles of encouragement. He'd say Jeongguk's name with so much affection, everyone in the room could feel it. He cared about each and every one of them.

But he'd stop when she looked over. His smile would leave his face and he was cold again. A hazy gray in the light of the room. And she knew it was her fault.

Because she made him betray Jeongguk. He knew of her nightly endeavors. Even though it was unintentional it still happened.

She could really see why they were best friends. Jeongguk really looked up to him. Jimin looked at him with utmost affection, like looking at a little brother. Jimin would share jokes that none of the others understood. Jeongguk would look at his older friend whenever he needed comfort.

She remembered Jeongguk's description of Jimin. It was after a fight he had with his father. He called her on the phone, but he was with Jimin. He told her exactly what his silver haired friend meant to him.

"He's the one person who is willing to give up the world to make sure I'm happy."

It caused the pit of guilt in the pit in her stomach to twist even more. There was so much history between them.

She really fucked up. But how could she have known? It was no ones fault in particular. She'd forgotten that he his favorite friend's name was Jimin. She kept note of Hoseok and Jin, knowing that from this point on she'd avoid all three names.

"Why did it take you this long to introduce us to her?" Jin asked after Celine made another quip at him.

He was enjoying getting roasted by her. The taller man was sad that Jeongguk hadn't brought her around earlier.

"We both have very busy schedules. I work all day, and she works all night." Her boyfriend said matter of factly with a slight shrug. He brushed his dark hair out of his eyes, quickly connecting his large hand back with hers.

Hoseok and Jin accepted the answer. They nodded, allowing her anxiety to die down. It was true what he said. But there were holes in the explanation. She bit her lip nervously, hoping that they wouldn't question it further. She thought she had gotten away with it.

"Interesting." Said Jimin, almost inaudibly.

She didn't look up. Her head hung in shame. They all started to talk around her, ignoring his remark. But her hands were shaking. Fear. That's what she felt. Of her perfectly made world crumbling around her.

Before long, food was brought to the table. It was her cue. And she was thankful; she couldn't take it much longer.

Celine rapidly stood up, jolting the table and causing forks to clang.

"Could you excuse me? I have to use the bathroom."

She felt nauseous, if she had stayed she would have blown her cover. The sense of calm had been ripped away from her. The act of innocence she had put on had been flayed. She had to get out of there.

Celine turned where Jimin had told her to go. Jimin. She was at a crossroads. Somewhere between angry and pathetically sorry.

She was livid. She would prefer to him to just tell her secret, then and there then make her wait.

But again, who could blame him?

She reached a smaller, dark blue room with ornate mahogany. It seemed to be styled more towards American Victorian. The chairs were plush, fine china lining the mantels. There was a large canvas in the middle. A gorgeously delicate flower painted on top. The leaves were small, the petals barely shaded with a baby blue. The beauty of it almost created serenity.

She told herself to breath, to try and calm the nerves that held her lungs. Again, it was hard to contain herself. She had no clue what to expect from him. No clue how to fix this already terrible situation.

The door shut behind her, allowing the silence of the room to seep in. She turned around, finding the man she was dreading to see right in front of her.

He floated like a cloud in the sky, white outfit drifting along the edges of the blue wall. He looked everywhere but at her, taking in the design just as she did.

Hating the way as his head craned to look around, that her eyes would follow his sharp jaw. Trace a line from there to his smooth neck. All the way from his toned back, to his defined fingers. The same ones that went up to the canvas, touching the flower as if he could hold it.

When he couldn't grasp it, he pulled away. Pretty, dark eyes finally glancing up at me. He walked forward, and she was stuck in her place at the center of the room.

Jimin walked into a beam of light, glinting from a window and onto the floor. It grew, containing his whole body. Hair like mercury, and eyes of endless obsidian. Filled with something indescribable.

"You're in a happy and loving relationship. With Jeongguk, who just so happens to be my best friend. So tell me, why did I have sex with you last night?" He said, anger edging along the framework of his expressive eyes, seeping into the caress of his voice.

The words made it real. Neither could hide behind the thin facade of silence. Celine had to confront the truth before her. Running was impossible when they stared each other down in the face.

We had touched.

We had kissed.

We both had betrayed someone we loved without knowing.

It's a double entendre. Which Celine knows most people don't know the definition of. Or people who could listen to her, understand her would know she knowingly met Jimin, but didn't know it was Jeongguk's best friend. Jimin didn't know anything, and now was inviting her alone to a room.

And it was all my fault.

"Because it's my job." She said, trying to keep her voice level as the brunette stared into him.

She met his anger with guilt of her own. Even in this situation, she'd never tell him exactly why she used her body for the job. She'd never tell anyone the reason.

"Why do you need it?" He asked, moving a little closer to her. Still at a safe distance away.

It didn't mean much. For some reason her hand was itching to brush with his. Just to see if his image was a mirage.

She walked forward too, tripping on a dip in the carpet. She watched as his hands floated up, ready to catch her. His lips parted as he laid his hands back down, not daring to touch her skin.

She coughed, smoothing out her dress. Pretending like that didn't happen.

"For money." Celine said, putting on an arrogant front. It was easier to be a cold bitch than to face what she did wrong. She needed Jimin to believe what she did wasn't wrong.

Quick. Simple. Easy.

A lie.

His straight eyebrow quirked up in disbelief. He feigned thought, his hand coming forward to touch his chin in thought.

"Something strikes me as odd. Jeongguk told me you are from a very well off family. I know that you live with him. What does a girl like you, need a Sugar Daddy for? I need a reason, a good one to not march in the other room and tell Jeongguk what you've been doing. You obviously-"

"You obviously don't know me. Don't you dare try to pin some sort of fucked up societal image on me. You paid for someone like me. I'm not doing this to hurt Jeongguk, I wouldn't do it at all if u could help it." She said, rounder face contorting in anger as she raised her voice. She watched him back up, face turning a faint shade of pink.

Her boyfriend's words rose up in her mind, as they watched the movie Pretty Woman together. Her subtle way of testing the waters.

"I just don't know why women do that to themselves. I'd rather flip burgers than sell my body to sleazy men. You mean to tell me you'd date a woman who was a porn star? After so many men had been inside her? C'mon, it's just too easy at that point"

He couldn't tell Jeongguk.

She didn't mean to have an outburst. But everything was crashing down and she was panicking.

Jimin looked at her wordlessly, running a hand through his hair.

She knew she was in the wrong here, but she wouldn't let him judge her for her occupation. Judge any woman.

Wouldn't let him think she was a whore, or using the job for sex. Even if she was, he had no right to put that label on her. It was alright for men to do the same, and no one would blink an eye.

"Okay, look I'm sorry. That's not what I'm trying to say at all. I don't think you're a whore, I don't think you're a bad person. If I did, I wouldn't have kept my mouth shut in front of Jeongguk. I'm just trying to learn more about the situation to see if I judged you incorrectly." He said, voice raising with intensity. She had to look away from him.

Tried to. But he came to her at this point. Held onto her shoulders, jolting her to look straight into his irises.

Why did she want to move closer? To count every one of his eye lashes. To explore the depth of mind. It made her even more pissed of at him.

"Well you didn't, are you happy? Am I good enough for him? Do I meet your standards?" Celine said, voice shaking.

He owed nothing to her. She knew as soon as they walked back in, her life with Jeongguk was over.

Jimin was his best friend. Who loved him very much. She was nothing in comparison. Just a bitch who cheats. He wouldn't say anything now, like he promised.

But he'd tell Jeongguk later. And she'd be dropped within a second. She knew him. She knew the dark haired boy would loathe her, never talk to her again. Jimin must hate her. She could tell, from the darkness in his eyes. He hated her as much as she hated him.

The silver haired boy paused, before speaking words that ruined her,"No, you aren't good enough for him."

The situation dawned on her. The severity of it became as palpable as Jimin's hands on her shoulders. His stare filled her with shame.

She was going to lose her love.

Tears started to fill her eyes, making the whole world glassy. But she held them back, she didn't want to cry in front of Jimin.

She didn't deserve the comfort.

Celine closed her eyes in shame, head hanging low. Dark wavy hair attempting to cover her face,"I know that I-"

"You're perfect for me." He said, lifting her chin up to his level. She'd never forget how he sounded. Like the words were painful to speak, but offered a relief like no other. Muttered in a whisper, but the loudest thing Celine had ever heard.

His lips molded words that made no sense. Eyes breaking the dam and becoming warmer than ever. A small smile tilted across his face.

"Excuse me?" Celine asked, full of shock. Mouth parted in a state between complete confusion and awe.

She thought to herself he must be crazy. He definitely was crazy.

He laughed, eyes crinkling. Her face betrayed her shock, and he knew it.

Was he playing some sort of game?

"I think we both heard what I said. You know what I want. More specifically, I want to spend more nights with you." He drawled out, arms slowly slid from her shoulders to her hands. She didn't move, allowing them to wrap around her waist.

"Look I know you felt the same. Last night was irrevocable. Amazing. I thought I was losing my sanity. We were perfectly in sync. It was almost like an out of body experience. I want to feel that again, with you."

Eyes widening and she was pressed against him.

He took advantage of her frozen state, pressing a soft kiss on the top of her cheek.

"B-but you're Jeongguk's best friend!" She exclaimed finally, after the heat of his plush lips on her skin jolted her awake.

She tried to move herself out his grasp, but he locked his fingers around her. He wasn't holding too tightly, he felt like he didn't need to.

"And you're Jeongguk's girlfriend." With a snarky smile. A lazy one that knew exactly what he was doing.

"Is this where you threaten me? That you're going to tell him?" Celine asked, jaw set with defiance.

Jimin's mouth turned into a line. All trace of amusement gone.

"I will never black mail you in order to have sex with me. That's assault and completely wrong to do. Even if you say no, I won't tell him."

His grip and her fell away and she swore she could breath again. He walked away from her, silhouette backlit by the window. She could see the tension in the lean man's shoulders.

The 18 year old barely had time to process what he was saying. It didn't make sense. How was he not mad at her? If they were such good friends, why did he even offer this proposal? Why was he choosing to possibly hurt his friend even more?

After some silence, she found her voice.

"Then why should I say yes?"

The older man stopped walking, crisp shoes freezing on the carpet. He gently turned around, like it was something he had practiced.

"Other than making your daddy happy? How about this, I'll give you $7,000 per session." He said, biting his lip casually.

Her heart felt heavy. She knew that she should have said no automatically. For Jeongguk. It shouldn't have even crossed her mind as an option. The brunette shouldn't have let him even offer up this deal. She shouldn't have even come to this room, alone with him.

But she made another mistake. Consideration.

The part she hated about herself. The part that was reckless.

"7,000?" She said, doll like eyes taking in his form.

"Yes, all yours. And you'd be all mine." Jimin said, coming close again. He didn't touch her, but she could feel him. Surrounded by the sensuous smell of his cologne.

Jeongguk.

She felt her self awareness breaking down. Some offers are so good you can't refuse.

"But we had an agreement. A strict agreement that if broken violates the sugar daddy and baby code." She said, but her voice was less certain than before.

Say no.

All that will come out of this is chaos.

"It's doesn't matter. We have a new agreement. I want to own you."

This time he leaned forward, his head touching hers. Breath mingling together. Lips having their own gravitational pull. The closest they'd been since the night before. And Celine swore she could have fallen into darkness then.

This is wrong.

She moved away from him, but she couldn't feel angry. She felt a deep sense of calm, that had suddenly struck her. But she wanted to be angry. Wanted to hit him. Wanted to hurt him.

For making her question what she was doing was wrong.

For considering going behind her boyfriend's back.

"You bought me for a night, you don't own me."

Jimin stared at her dainty face. The smooth contours fading in and out. The spark of intelligence and depth behind her eyes.

But Jeongguk.

He pulled her to him, allowing her beating heart to soar under his hand. Her back was pressed against his chest, and her lungs were working hard in the heated air. They stayed that way, feeling each other. Not wanting to let go of the feeling. The feeling that somehow only happened when they were together.

Where they don't care about consequences or people. Just about how they feel.

The atmosphere changed, turning molten and dangerous.

How could I let this happen again?

Jimin brought her closer, lips brushing against the shell of her ear. She took an intake of breath, allowing her to feel his hard chest.

"Then why did you scream my name like I was yours?" The mysterious man asked, voice as smooth as velvet. His delicate hand wrapped slowly around her neck, pressing just enough to steal some of her breath away.

"You paid me to. I'm not yours." But the words felt empty in her mouth. She'd lost her aggressive edge. She couldn't deny the effect he had on her body.

Why was I willing to risk everything?

"But you can be." He said with a tenderness that she couldn't fathom. He pressed a light kiss to her neck, causing her cheeks to heat up. And then he let her go.

"I don't know Jimin."

I should know. The answer is no. Because I'm with Jeongguk. And Jeongguk was Jimin's friend. And Jeongguk loved both of them.

They would hurt him knowingly together.

"You said it yourself. It's strictly business." When he said it, he sounded sure. That's what I told myself when I was paraded around by rich men.

Would this arrangement truly be any different?

"Still, Jeongguk."

(A/N: yes y'all half of Jeongguk's romanized name by itself is a slur. Thank you. I am well aware. But using it in a NAME because it's literally a sound within a name and the correct romanization, is not calling or using the slur. Within the context it is a name.)

"There's no emotional attachment. You're doing this for money, I'm doing this for pleasure. It's your job. What he doesn't know won't hurt him." Jimin further explained. His eyes held no ounce of lies. Only what seemed to be apparent lust.

He wanted her. He really wanted her. And she didn't think he'd stop until e got what he wanted.

"Fine, but if it all falls apart I-." Celine said, ignoring the way his gaze set her body aflame.

He smiled with triumph, turning back into the person who she saw at the dining table. The one who looked like they could never hurt anyone.

We weren't trying to hurt anyone.

And yet we would, irreparably.

"It won't. And it will stop as soon as you say the words."

"This is so stupid, why am I agreeing to this?"  She asked, almost to herself. Her body didn't feel normal. It felt heavy.

The dress that she loved earlier felt ugly, and stained. Ruined from impurity and lies.

"Because you want to. You just don't want to admit it." Jimin said, face framed in the dwindling light. His face was playful, but his tone held more weight.

She knew he was right.

And she hated it.

Hating him was hypocritical, for she was doing the same thing.

How could she question his integrity, and depth of emotions when she was willing to betray the same people?

"How do you know?" She asked, voice smaller than usual. Lips feeling swollen, eyes heavy with fatigue. Unknowing of the emotional strain his situation would put on the both of them.

"How do I know what?" He asked openly.

"That my intentions are good? That I'm not a bad person?"

The beautiful man smiled again, thought faintly. The brightness of his eyes combated the dark feeling in her heart.

"There are a few good people in this world. And I can tell that you are one of them." Jimin said, almost too quietly for me to hear.

She didn't know what he meant. Celine wanted to understand why a man he didn't know put so much faith in her.

But she couldn't help but think that he was wrong. She was a terrible person.

He reached forward, brushing a strand of dark hair away from her face. Eyes flickering between her lips and her irises. Looking wanderlust.

And then he turned away from her. Silver and white walking away without a word.

What the hell did she just agree to?

After waiting for a few minutes, she then decided to leave the room.

They returned to the table, obviously at different times. She sat down in her chair, still feeling apprehensive but less anxious than before.

Jin looked at her suspiciously, aggressively biting off the end of an asparagus. Celine swallowed loudly, looking at her plate of untouched food.

"I'm sorry guys, I started to take myself on a tour of the house."

Hoseok told her not to worry about it.

Her eyes glanced over Jimin, but quickly moved away.

Jeongguk kindly told her to eat, giving her a large smile.

I'm sorry.

She gave him a quick smile back, diving into her salad.

Celine was comfortable for a few minutes, until she felt a shoe hitting hers.

She immediately looked across the table. Jimin sent her a wink. She felt her cheeks heating up, hoping that Jeongguk didn't catch it. Luckily he was fighting with Seokjin about some video game.

The girl tried to step on his foot, but he wouldn't budge. He just kept smirking at her as he tried to play footsies.

"Ow!" Jimin suddenly exclaimed, pulling his foot away from hers.

The silver haired man quickly looked over his friend beside him. Jin's face was polite, smiling as if nothing happened.

Celine tried to look under the table undetected, wondering what happened to the infuriating man. She lifted the cloth and saw that Jin had his hand under the table as well. His fork was pressed slightly into Jimin's thigh.

"Knock it the fuck off." Jin said out of the corner of his mouth. The small girl thanked Jin, getting a nod in return.

She stuck her tongue out at Jimin, who was still grumbling and rubbing his thigh.

"So what do you guys do?" Celine asked, trying hard not to laugh at Jin. She wanted to learn more about them. And maybe diffuse the situation that arose between the men across from her.

"Well honestly, not that much. I basically bum off of everyone, in the most extravagant ways possible. Oh, I do own a night club or two. We can go sometime." Hoseok said nonchalantly. Like owning a night club wasn't a big deal.

"There's no shame in that. And that's great, I'd love to go!" She replied, getting a few chuckles from the guys around her.

Hoseok continued to speak, practically gushing, "We really should, its a lot of fun."

"Yeah whatever. My life is way more interesting." Scoffed Jin, crossing his arms across his broad chest.

"Yeah you're like, several different things that you don't have to be. And yet you still never offer to pay the bill."Jimin said, slyly while looking down at his plate. He was obviously poking fun at the proud man beside him.

Hoseok and Jeongguk burst out with laughter. She tried hard to stifle hers, but she couldn't keep it in. Jimin laughed even harder when he heard everyone else laughing.

And Jin was not happy about that.

"You're really funny Jimin." He said, screwing up his attractive face into something ugly. Celine realized he liked to exaggerate the way he spoke whenever he got frustrated. It made the whole situation even funnier.

"And you're really loud Jin." Jeongguk responded, making the same goofy face and voice infliction.

"Funny, that you're defending him." Jin said, sounding somewhat serious.

It got awkward for a few seconds, when Jeongguk realized Jin wasn't joking. He didn't understand the true meaning behind Jin's words. The older man just stared at the younger. She sat in silence, waiting for the moment to pass over. Jimin was looking down, seemingly guilty for the first time tonight.

Why did I have to ruin everything?

"Guys shut up, you're making my food just as salty as you are." Hoseok said, bringing the mood of the night back up.

"So what do you do Jimin?" She asked, trying to keep her voice casually interested. Jimin seemed surprised that she talked to him, letting his fork clang on the plate.

His eyes widened, but he recovered pretty well, "Lots of stuff. I invest in large clothing brands, plots of land that are build-able in the city. Loan money to new inventions. I even fund a research center for pediatric health."

She couldn't help but think it was impressive.

"Wow, now you're making me look like an under achiever." Jeongguk said, jokingly getting mad at his older friend.

Jimin furrowed his eyebrows, trying not to laugh at his younger friend.

"Oh stop, everyone knows that's not true. Who stayed up till 4am to beat the highest record on piano tiles?" He asked with a sarcastic edge.

"Haha, yeah that was me."

"Is there anything you like to do for fun Celine, anything we should now about?" Jin asked politely.

She had to remind herself he didn't mean her job. Jin wouldn't out her in front of everyone like that.

Celine looked around the table, to each face. Her face flushed, knowing exactly what she would talk about. Her hobbies always felt super personal to her, so she seldom felt like sharing about them.

"Well I like to paint. It's one of my favorite things to do. It brings me to a happier place. The way I can control the paint. To create something intricate from basically nothing. That was an awkward rant sorry I-"

"I do too. I like the way you talk about it. It's genuine." Jimin interrupted, leaning forward in his seat as if he were intrigued. She was surprised to see that he actually looked interested in what she was saying.

"Thanks." She muttered quietly, allowing a curtain of dark hair to cover her face. His genuine smile directed at her was against her liking.

"Have you tried to do anything with it?" Hoseok wondered, interjecting himself in the conversation.

Celine swallowed loudly, dreading the question. Disappointment was apparent in her words.

"No but, I've tried."

"Yeah, but I keep telling her she should do singing instead. She tried to get her art into a gallery, but they rejected it. I don't want her to be hurt again." Jeongguk told the rest of his friends.

They all nodded, looking sadly at her. Except Jimin. She saw his jaw clenched, hand turning into a fist on the table.

She hated when he talked about it. The one thing he never understood about her was her art. He tried to be nice and say it was good, but she knew he never approved. He kind of thought her talent was ridiculous. Childlike. His family was the practical type, one who needed talent to be upfront.

He didn't understand the emotional attachment she had to it. Especially when she didn't get the job at the art gallery. So she had stopped trying as much. Kept it to herself.

"Yeah, I've stopped trying honestly. I'm not that good anyway." Celine said, feeling insecure as she brushed her hair behind her ear.

"I'll be the judge of that. I just so happen to also run an art gallery. I'll take a look at your portfolio." Jimin said, voice full of conviction.

He said it like it was no big deal. But it meant the world to her.

Hoseok shot him a look, mouth turning into a little triangle. Jin had a small smile on his face. She didn't want to see Jeongguk. She knew he'd be disapproving.

"Are you serious?" Celine asked, the starved artist inside her feeling full. She'd never have an opportunity like this ever happen again.

"Yes, of course I am." Jimin said back, sending her a dazzling smile. She swore he'd never been so beautiful.

"Thanks, really." Celine said, almost tearing up. The excitement she rarely ever felt bubbled up inside her.
Without even realizing she grabbed Jimin's hand that had been laid across the table. He almost pulled away, but let her show her gratitude, eventually melting into the feeling.

Jeongguk watched all of this, for once hating how kind his best friend was. Hating even more the gentle smile Jimin had on his face as he looked at Celine.

"Jimin, you don't have to do that. I know you like doing favors for me, but I don't want us to hassle you." The dark haired man said, tongue in cheek as he watched Celine fawn over him.

She quickly pulled away, realizing how ridiculous she must have looked.

"It's not a hassle at all. I'd love to do it." Jimin said, eyes unwavering from his younger friend before him.

Jeongguk's hand reached back for Celine. But she wasn't there anymore.

***********

Part of Celine was excited. Part of her felt like a cheap for accepting it. The only reason why he was being this nice was because she was offering him something else in return.

The lunch ended then, everyone saying their goodbyes. Hoseok went to bed, Jin following after for he was staying the night. Jeongguk told Celine to warm up the car while he went to the bathroom.

She ended up walking out at the same time as Jimin. He walked in front of her, but she ran up to him hoping to catch him before she left.

Celine placed a hand on his arm, grasping onto Egyptian cotton, causing him to turn around.

"Do you seriously want to look at my art?" She said, staring into his elegant eyes.

He wasn't tall, but he was a lot taller than her. The top of her head barely reached his chin. She had to crane her neck to see his face.

"Yes Celine."

She breathed in deeply, the winter air wreaking havoc on her lungs. Snowflakes started to gently float down.

Landing like crystals on Jimin's hair, lips, and small nose. He looked like a fairy.

"Is it just because I agreed to sleep with you? Are you doing this out of pity?" She asked, pulling her wool coat tighter around her.

Jimin rolled his eyes, a playful smile dashing across his lips.

"Obviously you don't know about Sugar daddying as much as you like to think. It's not all about a relationship. Like you said before I'm your mentor, I'm supposed to help you further yourself in society and build connections."

Though his explanation seemed reasonable, it didn't seem like the truth. But again, she could never tell with Park Jimin.

"Yeah, I guess that's true."

"Also, this isn't a free ride or charity. I am going to simply look at your art. I never said I'd automatically add it to the gallery, it has to fit my criteria. But don't worry, I have a feeling it will." Jimin said in a joking manner, pulling out his keys and unlocking his car.

She started to feel bad, making him wait out in the cold. But her gratitude was over flowing. She liked talking to him. Likes the pure sound of his voice.

And for some reason she didn't want him to leave.

"Really, I don't know what to say. This honestly means a lot to me. All of this is so confusing."

He nodded his head, understanding she wasn't only talking about the art. So many things had happened that would change the course of her life.

Jimin looked down, stepping closer to her. She could see the flecks of black in his eyes, the snow melted on his cherry lips. His warm hand caressed her cold one, and she immediately felt warmer. Her teeth had decidedly stopped chattering.

"Don't worry about that right now. You're used to living a double life, right? One at home with Jeongguk, one at night without him. Outside of this whole agreement, you are the love of Jeongguk's life. I'm not the mean, rude person everyone assumes I am. We can be friends."

"Friends?" She wasn't sure they could be.

It seemed impossible given the circumstances.

But perfect all at once. If the night before hadn't happened she'd want to be friends with Jimin. Jeongguk was right. They were alike in a lot of ways. Different in all the ways that mattered. No matter how much she didn't want to admit it.

"Yeah, I think you'll be a good one. Bye Celine." Jimin said, one final smile leaving her breathless.

She watched the mysterious man walk away, white silhouette fading into the purple sun. Snowflakes fading in and out, causing his image to be distorted. Her hand reached out, creating a shadow in front of the image. Following his mark across the sky.

And then she stood there. Unspoken and lost. Unaware that her own body was freezing.

She wanted to hate the beautiful man. But she couldn't. It's easy to hate beauty found in the exterior. But when you find that the beauty reaches the roots of the person, they are impossible to hate.

What the hell did she get herself into?

(A/N): Spam me with comments. I love them! Okay, so we dive deeper into this sticky situation.

It's obviously cheating, because she hasn't told Jeongguk. But y'all also gotta remember porn stars, sêx workers etc do have relationships outside of their work. But it needs to be agreed upon.
