24-Come What May
"Never knew I could feel like this,
Like I've never seen the sky before
Want to vanish, inside your kiss
Everyday I'm loving you more and more
Seasons may change, winter to spring
But I will love you, till the end of time" Come What May-Moulin Rouge
"This place is beautiful." Celine said out loud, voice echoing clearly.
Jimin had promised to take her to Hoseok's new dance studio. And the man had surely kept his promise.
She was amazed at the giant room she stood in. Floor to ceiling mirrors on one side, large Victorian windows on the other. Perfect ash wood floors, capable for easy maneuvering with any type of dance shoe. Large wooden beams hung across the ceiling, large lights attaching to them for the perfect lighting. A ballet bar hung across one of the walls, and other various dance materials were stacked across the sides in an organized manner. The whole place was light and full of joy, strangely synonymous with the owner.
"I'll let Hoseok know you think so." Jimin said back cheekily, admiring the girl's astonished expression.
The girl gave him a look, turning to the side. She was about to insult him, but then he decided it was the perfect time to take off his hoodie. Suddenly he was in white pants that showed off his thighs and a simple thin cotton shirt. His hair was all messy, as he flung his hoodie to the side and drank from his water bottle.
Take me now lord, for I have sinned.
She looked down at her simple shorts, tights, and tank. Stretched her feet within the pink ballet slippers she wore, addicted to the familiar pull at the center of her feet.
She took a swig of her own water, trying to get into the dancing mindset. The lithe girl looked at herself in the mirror, fixing the half up-half down hairdo she had made, so her long locks would keep out of her eyes. Celine also made the mistake of lookin up Jimin, who's sleeves were now rolled up to show his veiny and muscular forearms. Therefore managing to choke on the water she was drinking.
Celine decided it was best to stop looking at the hot boy, and start actually being productive. She gracefully strutted over to the bar, knowing that the silver haired man's eyes lingered on her every step of the way. Watching the sway of her hips, and how her long hair trailed behind her.
Paying it know mind, she lifted up her left leg and placed it on the bar. Throwing her long hair over her shoulder as she bent to touch her head to her knee, making sure her leg was in the correct position. Arching her back out, not on purpose. Just you know, for making sure she wouldn't be too stiff while dancing. It wasn't like she was peeking to make sure that Jimin was staring at her ass or not.
Yet Celine smirked, knowing that he was doing exactly that.
What she didn't expect was him coming closer to her. Within large hands placed themselves on her hips.
"Want some help?" Jimin spoked gruffly into her ear, pressing her back against his chest. Celine arched back, so she get even closer.
"Is this an excuse to touch my ass?" The girl quipped back innocently.
Jimin laughed, pressing a slight kiss right under her jaw.
"How did you know?" The man asked, pretending to be offended.
The girl leaned back even more, so that her head was on his shoulder. She tilted her head, so that she could see his entire profile. She was so close to kissing his precious lips, as he stared down at her.
"You can't resist me." It wasn't a question. It was a statement, and Jimin knew it to be true. The silver haired man gulped, pushing the girl quickly away from him.
He wondered why he was so out of breath, especially since he hadn't really done anything yet. It proved that her effect on him was truly great. But he wanted to be with her today. No funny business.
Just them. And it was very possible for them to do that. But Jimin noticed whoever Celine felt nervous or apprehensive, she would revert to trying to seduce him. A lot of the time it worked. Not that he was complaining.
"Alright, enough with the stretching. Or else we'll be doing a different kind of activity today."
Celine pouted, stepping away from the bar. Disappointed that his touch disappeared from her as well. As much as she wanted to dance, intimacy with him was a less nerve wracking situation at the moment.
Sadly, their banter did not make her feel any less nervous. Jimin would be watching her dance today, which might possibly be the most nerve wracking thing ever. Even after years of training, she felt like she wouldn't be good enough for him.
They stood in the center of the room now, looking at Jimin's phone so that they could connect it to the bluetooths speaker. He wanted to make sure the music she wanted to dance to was on his phone as well.
The small brunette could tell he was just as experienced, if not more. From the pretty way he walked, to his powerful thighs. From his perfect posture, to his graceful neck.
"You can go first." Celine blubbered our nervously. She hastily twirled her hair around her finger, trying to avoid Jimin's curious stare.
"No you." He said, smiling genuinely. He didn't know that she was dying internally inside.
Stop being a fucking gentleman for once you oblivious donut.
Celine smoked back just happily, making sure her one dimple popped out. She hit Jimin on the shoulder, trying to be coy. She must have hit him harder than she thought when he winced and rubbed the area.
"No you."
At this point, the man realized she was trying to avoid it. It made him push harder though. He didn't want her to feel uncomfortable, but he was afraid if he danced first, she would decide not to and doubt herself.
Also, it was very fun to tease the overly dramatic girl. She was cute when she was angry.
"Ladies first." Jimin said, smile turning mocking as he gestured with his hand at her.
Celine grimaced, gesturing sarcastically back at him.
"Then you should definitely go first."
"Are you calling yourself a man?"
The girl huffed, finally giving up. The man exasperated her to the point of no return.
"You know what, I'll just go first."
"Thank you."
"Good one Jimin, honestly that was so creative. Clair De Lune, please." She said, rolling her eyes.
She walked away from him as he went and adjusted the stereo volume. The girl hadn't danced ballet in a while, and she felt like she was going to get ill. Standing directly in the center, she stared straight at her reflection. Focusing on her slender arms, and log legs. Hoping to awake the muscle memory that had been engraved within her for years.
Jimin came back to the mirror, sitting down. He showed her his phone, saying that he was going to press play. He smiled at her, giving her a thumbs up in encouragement.
The piano notes started to play, and every else faded away as well. Gone were the nerves and anxiety. The girl closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath. The music acted like strings, pulling on her body and filling her with its fluidity. And suddenly she was moving with it.
She was across the entire floor, spinning and moving. Becoming nothing but what the music wanted her to be. She was possessed by every note, every beat that left the speakers.
But as quickly as it began, it ended.
Celine was back in the center, breathing harshly with her hands on her hips. All she heard was the harsh and rapid clapping of a certain someone.
When she looked up, Park Jimin was staring at her wide eyed.
"What?"
His mouth opened and closed, making him look like a confused baby duck, "Well it's just, I never expected you to be that good."
He immediately placed his hands over his head, ready for the fiery girl's attack. She didn't disappoint as she ran over, hitting him on his shoulders and sides. The honey skinned boy ended up sprawled on the ground laughing. Celine believed that was enough punishment and helped him off the ground.
"Alright, it's your turn now buddy. I'm expecting the worst." Celine said, sitting against the mirror as he got up.
The man quickly got up, dark eyes scanning for a song good enough to play.
"Prepare to have your mind blown. Like my dick."
"What?"
The 21 year old shook his head, cheeks reddening a bit.
"Yeah, I don't know why I added the last part. I thought it sounded edgy."
The girl shook her head back at his endearing awkwardness, waiting for the performance to begin. He finally picked a song, one with a beautiful piano melody as well. She couldn't place her finger on it.
Jimin stared straight ahead, a beautiful intensity in his eyes. Celine waited with anticipation, his unmoving body making her yearn for more.
But he started to dance, and Celine wished he would stop. Because she felt as if her heart had been ripped from her chest, the wind taken out of her body.
He was amazing. Beyond amazing.
Floating like tiny dust through the air. A languid swan making its flight atop water. So strong, yet controlled in a gentle way. He'd move his limbs so quickly, and yet stop so suddenly. Never losing his pretty softness the entire dance. He also had perfect technique, with pointed toes and perfectly straight limbs.
And you could tell he loved it. From the deep states, to the occasional smile that would grace his lips.
God he was beautiful.
The music stopped and so did he. Celine sat still in shock, sad now that it was over. She could watch him move like that all day. She wanted to know why he hadn't done this for a living.
"How was I?" He asked, sweat making his hair look gray.
Her heart swelled, knowing he really did need to hear reassurance. They were alike in that way. Always wanting to please other people.
"Fucking incredible."
He smiled, white teeth contrasting with is lightly tanned skin.
"Thank you."
"I want to dance with you." Celine said, filling the silence that had settled between them. Jimin flashed her a look, taking a large gulp of water. It seemed like he already had that planned the entire time, as he quickly winked at her.
"There's a duet we can learn. It's choreographed for Come What May, from Moulin Rouge. I thought it would be perfect, because the main character's name in that movie is Satine and it rhymes with Celine."
"You're lucky, because I just so happen to love that song."
He quickly taught her the steps, at first without music. He showed her all the steps to her part. Then after, he showed her how it fit into what he was doing as well. They practiced a few times, just marking the steps with and without music.
"Are you ready?" He asked, playful light in his eyes.
Celine knew it would be a challenge, but she was ready for it.
"As ready as I'll ever be."
They started, facing away from each other, at least ten feet away. Then, the music started playing, cueing Celine to turn around and slowly ballet walk to Jimin who was still turned away from her.
Never knew, I could feel like this
Celine was close to him, wrapping her arms around the man's neck and shoulders; lifting her knee up into a piqué. In this part of the choreo, he was supposed to act unaffected. But she saw the way he stiffened up as soon as she was close to him. She didn't miss the way he shivered, goosebumps appearing all over her body.
Like I've never seen the sky before
Jimin lifted his arms up slowly, letting his strength lift her slightly into the air as he backpedaled. He let go of her, allowing both of them to pirouette closer to each other.
Want to vanish, inside your kiss
Jimin caught Celine, both staring intensely as he wrapped his arms around her waist. The girl leaning forward as he leaned back. Celine spare she's never seen the man's eyes so bright, cheeks so flushed. There was something wild in his expression. It made the girl hungry for something, affection or affliction, she did not know. Lips aching to touch if only for a second. But the longing was needed, not relief. And neither felt relief as the had to pull away, only balancing by holding onto their partners hand.
Everyday I love you more and more.
The dance told of a darker story. They leapt away from each other, torn apart by a force neither could fight. Celine did a back bend, landing gently on the ground. Emotion on her face as she flung her head back, wrapping her arms around the one knee she kept up.
Come what may, come what may
Jimin ran forward a bit, turning and finishing with a ronde de jambe by flicking his leg in the air gracefully. He held out one of his hands, getting her gracefully off the ground.
I will love you until my dying day
Helping her leap by holding onto her forearms, for the first climax of the song. Then, slowly letting her down like an autumn leaf.
Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place
Celine placed a hand on his chest, looking up at him through her lashes. The elegant man wrapped his arm around her waist, letting them move in a slow circle around each other. Jimin smiled widely at her, causing the same expression to appear on her face like magic.
Honestly, she couldn't explain what she was feeling. The adrenaline of dancing with him, the beauty of the song, and the lyrics eerily mirroring the way she felt about him, made her feel dizzy with emotion. Along with the way he moved with her, she was spellbound. They transcended everything earthbound as they danced together, becoming one entity instead of two. Falling slave to the music and the feelings they got when they were so close together.
This was one way she could tell him how she felt, without saying a single word.
Suddenly it moves with such a perfect grace. Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste
It all revolves around you.
Storm clouds may gather, and stars may collide
Jimin pulled Celine into his chest tightly, making her land into him roughly, but in a controlled manner. The tension was unbearable at this point, and Celine felt as if she could have died happily in that moment. He took one of her hands in his, lifting it to his mouth. Keeping direct eye contact as his plump lips grazed her head; reaching their final pose. Cradling her into him. Their hearts rising and meeting each other as they took heavy breaths.
But I love you
I love you
Until the end of time
The music ended, but the pair stayed pressed together. He wouldn't stop gazing down at her. Eyes wild with unspoken confessions. She did everything in her power to avoid him.
"Celine I-" The windswept man spoke.
She panicked. The 18 year old wasn't sure what he was going to say, but she already didn't want to hear it. If he had also felt the same things as they danced, she didn't want to know. She wanted to blame it on the beauty of dance, and not on the fact it was Jimin who made her feel enchanted.
I don't know how to be treated right.
I don't deserve to be given kindness, when I've caused everyone too much pain.
"Wow! That was great! I really need water though, like holy shit that took the wind out of me." Celine said, laughing dramatically as she waved her hand to cool her face.
The man narrowed his eyes, moving forward, before realizing he should probably just let it go. He smiled half-heartedly, responding to her request.
"Right, I'll go get you some."
Celine smiled, until he was far enough away. So that he didn't see her crumble against the ballet bar she was holding. Weak, and ready to call him back.
Pull him into her arms, and never let go.
*******
Celine had brought an extra outfit, and showered at Jimin's. Luckily it was nice enough to go out to lunch in.
Jeongguk had made a group chat, inviting everyone to his favorite cafe.
Honestly, she didn't want to go. She was becoming increasingly annoyed that every man had kind of ignored Jeongguk's violent behavior. She knew she would lose that fight in a minute if she even tried to talk about it.
Celine felt strange about going, especially since she was going to show up with Jimin. Biting her lip, she laid on Jimin's bed waiting for the hygienic man to get out of the shower.
"Do we have to go together?" The pretty girl shouted, hoping he heard her over the running water.
The shower turned off suddenly, making it less noisy. He didn't answer back, giving no indication that he heard her at all. She sat up on the bed, leaning on her hands as she prepared to yell again at the man.
Which is when he walked out of his bathroom. Sending a questions gaze with eyebrows raised at the girl who's mouth was still open. He shook his hair, trying to dry the silver locks a bit as they dripped over the sides. He only had a towel wrapped around his waist, while his perfect torso remained bare. Steam rising off of his newly washed body.
He just shook his head at the girl, smiling at her lust filled-gaze, "Pervert."
The man tried walking past her, but she scooted to the edge of the bed. She stuck her hand out, grabbing on the knot he created with the towel and pulled him towards him. She stared up at him through her lashes, looking from his face to the abs that were right before her eyes.
"Stop being such a tease." The girl whispered out, quickly kissing his hip bone.
The man inhaled sharply, eyes fluttering shut. Using all of his willpower to not press her back down on the bed.
"You know that I give you what you want, whenever you want." The man said darkly, smirking slightly at the flushed girl.
The girl wrapped her arms around his thighs, letting her breath hit his navel. Watching as the goosebumps arise along his particularly smooth skin. He let out a low groan in the back of his throat, his head falling back towards the ceiling as he bit his lip.
Heavenly.
"Can't we just skip the lunch babe?"
And just like that he was snapped back into reality. He moved his hands to hers, and slowly placed them back on the bed.
"It's worse to not show up at all, then to show up together." Jimin said, biting his lip seductively as he leaned towards her. Yet the only thing he did was plant a single sweet kiss on her willing lips. Finally answering her question as he pulled away.
Celine pouted as he got dressed. He did look good in his outfit though, which happened to be an oversized blue and white pin stripe shirt over a white t-shirt, with light denim wash shorts.
So, Jimin won with logic and they both ended up in his black car. The man smiled secretly to himself, as the girl with the soft voice complained the entire way. He tried distracting her from her stress, by asking her questions.
"Do you know why he even planned this?" Asked Jimin, who didn't even check the text messages. He barely looked at his phone when Celine was around.
"He said it's a celebration for the last day of Spring."
"It's funny. I don't remember him being so sentimental about the seasons."
Celine laughed, taking her chance to roll down the windows. It always got so cold in the man's luxury car.
Jimin's favorite season used to be Winter. He always leaned towards the colder months. But now he preferred Spring and Summer.
For Celine would roll down the window. Lean her head against the open side. Smile at the sun as the golden rays kissed her skin. The warm winds blowing her long hair around wildly.
That became the only thing worth seeing to the enthralled man.
The man pulled up into an open parking spot, one right by the café Jeongguk had told them to meet at. He turned off the car, looking at the small girl who refused to move. Looking simply adorable in her red two piece outfit.
The color looked ravishing on her tan skin.
"Why are you so glum? You'll get to see everyone!"
She pouted, moving away from the window ledge. Her tiny pointer finger finally pressing the button to make it go up.
"I just like being alone with you."
It was a simple thing, that she said. But it didn't fail to make his breath hitch. Celine was always careful with what she said around him. She never really gave him long speeches of affection, or even called him nicknames. It was the occasional moments where she'd let her guard down, and say exactly what she was thinking.
"I do to babe, but this is something we have to do." This time, Jimin was also convincing himself. He had the sudden urge to drive away, and never return.
"I know." She said quietly, smiling up at him.
He nodded, smiling as well. He got out of the car, quickly running to her side so he could open it before she did. The girl rolled her eyes getting out, saying he was way too old fashioned. With anyone else, Jimin would have felt discouraged. But with her, the man knew he was doing exactly the right thing.
The two arrived at the pretty cafe, that held a boho botanical garden vibe. It was aesthetically pleasing, but unlike what Jeongguk usually liked. A hostess, pointed them to a side, explaining that their friends were in the outdoor seating area.
They walked out, making sure not to be accidentally holding hands. Celine had grabbed Jimin's as they walked across the street earlier. Painting on their best platonic faces as Jimin held open the door for the smaller girl.
The table of men all exclaimed when the two walked through. Well, everyone except Jin and Jeongguk. Celine waved to everyone sitting at the empty seat next to Jeongguk. Jimin shuffled in, high diving his friends then sitting across from her at the end.
Jeongguk raised a questioning brow, but nothing too worried as she shuffled her chair closer to the table.
"Art stuff. I hitched a ride with him." She said innocently, giving the man a light kiss on his tanned cheek.
The man laughed, clicking his tongue within his cheek, "I figured. What else would you be doing with my best friend?"
Celine swallowed harshly, laughing quietly to see if Jimin heard that comment. But the silver haired man was oblivious. He was smiling largely, eyes engulfed my puffy lids.
"Jk!" He yelled out excitedly, holding his hand out for a bro fist. Jeongguk immediately responded, doing a very specific handshake. The girl finally sunk into her seat, knowing that all was well between the two men.
She missed the way Jeongguk's fist remained closed as he pulled away.
The whole group was lively, already telling funny stories.
Namjoon told them how he broke all the bottles of wine in Jimin's bar. Jin looked appalled, while Taehyung just nodded his head. Celine never noticed just how clumsy the purple haired man was. And how the elegant Jin really balanced him out. They were honestly one of the cutest couples she had ever seen.
Namjoon would place a soft kiss on Jin's temple every couple of minutes, just to make sure he was still right next to him.
Taehyung started to tell the story of how he got lost in Los Angelos. He managed to get some lady's number without speaking English. Everytime a person would ask him to teach them Korean, he would tell them how to say "Jimin is an idiot." Even Jimin couldn't help but laugh at the endearing story weaves by Taehyung.
She'd feel a twinge in her heart, whenever Jimin would burst into laughter. His mouth open wide and eyes closed. He'd end up with his head on Yoongi, clapping his pretty hands together.
Celine couldn't help but want to sit next to the shining man.
Jeongguk started to speak, talking about a specific moment between Celine and him. Everyone at the table got quiet, listening intensely as he spun the tale. She nudged him, trying to signal it was too personal of a story to tell but he kept going anyways.
It was another reason she was so weary of him.
He never kept anything between the two of them. It seemed like he was more fond of reactions, then being with Celine and making those memories.
"So we got stuck in New York right? Celine thought it was a good idea to see a broadway show. Well, when we did that someone stole my credit card number. We ended up driving around all night and until we spotted Central Park. With no money, and no card we weren't able to get a hotel or food until my bank could figure it out. So we ended up sleeping under the stars." Jeongguk finished, looking lovingly at the girl next to him.
She smiled back haphazardly, wondering why he was being so overly affection. Jin looked at her with some confusion, but she awarded him a small but genuine smile.
"That was a pretty crazy time."
The black haired man nodded, twirling some of her dark hair. Midnight eyes never leaving hers, as he licked his sculpted lips.
"But it turned out okay. Because I was with you."
Jeongguk leaned down, pulling her chin gently towards him. Planting the most gentle kiss on her lips, one that he hadn't given her in months. Maybe even ever.
Celine's eyes stayed wide open, out of complete shock. Accidentally making eye contact with Taehyung, who was non-so-chalantly sipping his cup of tea.
His touch shocked her, in all the ways Jimin's touches burned her.
The whole table got a little quiet, uncomfortable by the very public display of affection. Celine moves away from the dark haired man, feeling slightly embarrassed by all the attention. She avoided Jimin's gaze entirely. She didn't like that he had to witness that. It was awkward as fuck.
And she didn't want to see the pitiful look of sympathy on his face. Probably thinking that she is the dumbest girl in the world.
She couldn't help but feel like she did something wrong. She was. It was wrong.
Even though Jimin wasn't hers.
Jeongguk continued to talk, holding her hand as he told the rest of the table about them. He was so animated, so intense as he told the stories. She'd never seen him like this before. Her hand felt like led, clammy and cold and she wanted to rip it away from him.
Someone save me please.
The girl let go of a heavy breath, feeling something graze across her fingers. She glanced down, checking to see who it was.
Jimin's hand, gliding across hers under the table. Soft fingertips grazing across warm skin.Yet filled with forbidden want. Hesitant, but full of confidence all at once.
Her breath caught as their eyes met, despite her avoidance of them. He was looking at her intensely, cheeks only slightly tinted pink due to the weather. Or maybe something else. With his eyes narrowed and jaw taut, he looked a bit pissed off.
The more Jeongguk talked about their past endeavors, the more Jimin touched her. His hand moved from her hand, to the inside of her thighs. Making lazy circles that would soon make her fall apart.
Celine knew what is was. The man was jealous. Yet, he didn't touch her in a possessive manner. It more like he wanted to remind her, of how she felt when she was with him. Remind her that he was the only person who could make her feel this way.
Or maybe it was to convince himself of that.
She knew she should have swatted him away. Told him it was the wrong time. But Celine really didn't want to.
Their little secret would remain in the palm of her hand.
But she did try pulling away. She did try to be good, for the sake of Jeongguk not lashing out at her or Jimin later. Who was sitting right next to her, holding onto her hands as well. It was so apparent, when both of them were touching her at once, who she was effected by in a positive way. Who she was more drawn to.
"Stop." She mouthed to the silver haired man, catching his eyes. She begged him, pleaded with her eyes. From the dark look in his gaze, neither she nor him were convinced by her command.
He shook his head a little, looking stoic as he continued to make hot trails and swirls across her skin. Painting tingling sensations all over her body and mind.
"Come what may." Jimin mouthed back, a smile forming across his sinful lips.
It was a sweet smile, one that made his eyes turn into little hills of ink. Only a sliver of dark irises left to shimmer.

(A/N) if y'all haven't watched Moulin Rouge Um FREAKIN WATCH IT
Whoop whoop thanks for 10k! I'm so happy!!!
Basically at the end, with Jimin saying that part of the song, he's really saying "I don't give two fucks anymore, bring it on to anyone who wants to split them apart." But he's too poetic to say that. Even though Celine is a bit oblivious, the song in the movie is used for the main characters to say "I love you." Without anyone knowing. So basically Jimin said I love you, and she was kinda just like ☠️☠️ "he's being jealous right now wtf."
Anyways, did you guys like the dancing part? Sorry if I used too many lyrics, I know it's a bit annoying if people write down an entire song. But the lyrics are so important, that I had to add some of them. Especially when I realized how it connects to them in so many ways.
