15-Somebody Else

"I don't want your body
But I hate to think about you with somebody else
Our love has gone cold
You're intertwining your soul with somebody else"
Somebody Else-1975

Celine crept out of Jimin's bed at 2:00 am. She couldn't stay there, lying awake any longer. When he fell asleep, she turned around to face him. Watched his cute body gently fall into the bounds of night. His lips were parted, and his dark eyelashes dusted the top of his rosy cheeks.

Everything about him was making her need more. And if she didn't want to make any more mistakes, she had to go. Placing a gentle kiss on his forehead, she got up, grabbed her phone, and walked out.

She hailed a cab and went to Jin's, and packed up all her stuff. Jin was sleeping, and the butler let her in. She didn't want to say anything to wake him.

And then she went home.

It felt strange opening the door to her apartment. The air felt cold, despite the changing season. The kitchen was messier than before. The living room was in disarray.

There was beer cans littering the ground. The brunette stepped over them, horrified that there were so many. She'd only been gone for two days. Slowly, she walked into their bedroom, seeing a sleeping figure in her bed.

Stomach filling with nervous dread, she walked over.

Even in sleep, the man looked distressed. His forehead slightly sweating, eyes scrunched together, and constantly fidgeting. His dark hair matted and all messed up as he thrashed around the pillows.

What have I done to you?

Celine took a deep breath, not caring that she was still wearing normal clothes. Sliding into the bed and praying that he wouldn't wake up. She wouldn't know how to deal with him.

How to look at him after what she said.

How she felt about his best friend.

But the girl wasn't lucky. As soon as she slid into their stuffy comforter, the older man was startled.

"Celine?" He asked, eyes opening wide and frantic. As if he sensed her presence, he sat right up, somewhere between consciousness and sleep. Celine shushed him, running her fingers through his thick hair.

"Yes?" She asked, though she was scared of what he was going to say.

(A/N: again. It takes up to 7 times for a woman to leave an abusive partner. 7 times statistically on average. If this is how you speak about victims of abuse. I know this is frustrating but a lot of my beautiful readers can relate to Celine. It's okay to be frustrated of course, but imagine how many victims of abuse have read your comments calling her stupid for going back when it is only words like that who push victims back to their abusers. Everyone has opinions and they are entitled to them but PLEASE be more mindful with a book that deals with heavier topics)

Why are you here?

Have you forgiven me?

She didn't even know herself.

"Don't leave again. You can't leave me, I don't know what I'll do to myself. I almost-" Jeongguk stopped, almost choking, burrowing himself into her. His hands clutched to her body desperately, even in sleep. His whole being seemed more calm than before, his breathing normal again.

She looked at the various pill bottles that lined the dresser next to him.

The girl paled, feeling her chest begin to concave.

She didn't answer him.

Celine hated herself, so much. He had been hurting while she was gone. To the point where he may have wanted to hurt himself.

I couldn't even imagine what he'd be like if I left him for good. Even though it's what I should do.

Obligation. Guilt. Repayment. Fear All the things that held her back from her word of breaking up with him.

Writing off Jeongguk was so hard because of moments like these. Moments where he just seemed so lost. Like she had once been.

She still had to protect him like he did her. Even though she had fallen out of love. The need to prevent him from hurting was there, no matter how scary it had become.

What the fuck do I do?

After lying awake for another hour the girl opened her phone. Hovering over a particular name. One that haunted her every waking moment. It felt dangerous thinking about him as Jeongguk wrapped himself around her. It was so fucked up, everything was fucked up.

She sent a text to Jimin, clarifying their current relationship even more.

"I'm at home with Jeongguk. Sorry I left without saying goodbye."

She wanted to say so much more. She wanted to tell him it didn't mean anything. But she knew deep down it wasn't the right time. She wasn't sure if there would be one.

A time where she didn't destroy every life she touched, like the first chill of autumn air. Decisions and changes shriveling up like dead leaves falling one by one in her tumultuous path.

Tonight would be the first night she slept next to Jeongguk knowing she loved another man. It wouldn't be the last.

And with that, she drifted off, wondering how her life became so screwed up and better all at once.

**************

Celine wondered if everyone got that feeling.

When you wake up and want to see a text from someone. And then you don't get it. And you get that thick feeling in your throat, and that nervous feeling in your stomach. Think of all the possible reasons why they didn't answer instead of any plausible ones.

That's how she felt when she saw the lack of reply from Jimin. Immediately her cheeks heated up, and she fell back onto her bed and hoping her pillow and her bed would suffocate her.

She expected it, but her brain was nary in agreement with her heart.

But instead, a very large body suffocated her.

"Jeongguk, you're crushing my nose and basically everything on my body right now."

The dark haired boy hugged her tighter, not listening to what she had to say. His chin rested atop her forehead, while his arms encircle around her.

"I'm just glad to have you back." He said, voice filling with vulnerability.

The girl's system was shocked. She still wasn't used to him being so frail. They were both strong headed people. But she could feel the way her clung to her as if she'd disappear. The desperation in his body language made it hard for her to ignore.

Together they had become weak in so many ways.

He lifted himself off of her a bit, hovering. He looked down at her lovingly, with an expression she couldn't bear to return.

"I'm sorry, but you really fucked up this time Jeongguk. I needed some space." She replied, looking away from him. Hoping that the uncomfortable emotion on her face would be avoided.

It was in the moments she was worse off that he could read her like a book. And now that she had finally accepted her feelings, she needed to be careful. She'd have to put on a meticulous show.

Jeongguk's eyes lowered, his lips pressing into a thin line.

"I know. I really know. I'm a legitimate dumb ass who does things he really shouldn't. And by listening to my mother, I disregarded your feelings and made a huge mistake. I'm beyond sorry." He said, eyes widening at her.

Even though he was being sincere, she could see the tense way he held his jaw. The slight look of impatience.

It's not fine. You knew what you were doing.

"It's fine. Just really don't let it happen again."

Lies. It wasn't fine. But Celine had to get the normality their relationship had back. Constantly fighting with him wouldn't make it easier to stay when she was hanging by a thread with him.

"Thank god, I couldn't go another day without seeing you." He leaned down, giving her a small kiss on her forehead. It felt foreign, despite being together for nine months. Maybe it wasn't the feeling of his lips on her that was strange.

Maybe it was the lack of reaction in her heart.

"Me either, that's why I'm back." She said, eye lashes fluttering against her cheeks as she looked away from him.

Another lie.

Celine looked to the right, watching the sun filter through their curtains. It was blinding to look at, but her gaze still remained unmoving. Waiting for Jeongguk to get off of her. Hoping it wasn't showing.

He only decided to get up when he heard the doorbell. Celine took advantage of the freedom, taking in a huge breath of air. They had no expected visitors, so whoever was at their door was a mystery.

Celine quickly changed into a different pair of clothes, hurrying so she could see what was going on. She walked out to see Jeongguk holding open the door with a confused expression and Jin standing in the frame. She hadn't realized that Jin was taller than we boyfriend until this moment.

"Um Jin, why are you here?" Jeongguk asked, not being rude for once but genuinely confused.

Jin rolled his eyes, apparently already having enough of his younger friend,"Why are you a mouth breather?"

Celine clasped a hand over her mouth to stifle a laugh. Jeongguk choked, barely getting a word in.

"What-"

"Hello Celine, my lovely peony." Jin said, sending her a smile as he pushed past the dark haired and flabbergasted boy.

"Oh my lord, hello Jin." Celine responded back, hiding her amusement well as she leaned against the kitchen counter.

"You look so cute right now I just can't." He said, coming closer and giving the girl a hug. Celine smiled, wrapping herself in his happy embrace.

"Thanks Jin. Same to you. I'm really loving the choker." She laughed out, gently pulling on the diamond necklace he sported.

"Got it for five bucks." He said with a wink, knowing him and Celine both loved sales.

Jeongguk stood to the side, looking and feeling left out. When had Jin and her become such good friends? It made him a little jealous to see her getting along so well with him after the whole house incident. And the fact she stayed over Jin's while she was away.

"Jin-" The young man started, hands on his hips. But The older male started talking over him again.

The brunette waved his hand in his friend's direction, giving him a bit of a death glare. Jin hadn't forgot about the dinner fiasco yet either. Nor had he forgiven.

"Anyways, Hoseok's club, tonight, 10:00 sharp. Be there or be a square. Literally everyone's going. Like the whole squad."

Celine swallowed, processing his words.

Everyone.

Including Jimin.

"Hell yes." Said Jeongguk, clapping his hand together and making an annoyed Jin look his way.

"I knew you'd say yes, so technically I wasn't asking. Celine?" The older man turned back to her after silencing her boyfriend.

Her heart was beating so fast. Celine, who often kept her cool, was nervous. Nervous to the fact that it would be their first time altogether after the incident at Jin's. And then Jimin would be around as well as Jeongguk, and she'd have to be a class A actress to get through the entire night without imploding.

"I don't know Jin." Celine said, biting her lip. Nervously, she kicked at the floor thinking of all the ways death would be less awkward than going.

Jin pouted, suddenly grabbing her hands that lay stiff by her side.

"C'mon Celine! You haven't done anything fun in days!"

"That's not true," the doll faced girl said stubbornly. After making eye contact with a skeptical Jin, she gave in,"fine its very true."

"Just come. It will be way more fun with you there. Plus Hoseok really misses you." Jin said, nudging her softly with his elbow.

She smiled slightly, thinking of the fun man with orange-brown hair and a large smile. She'd only seen him once earlier in the week. So finally, the girl gave in.

"Ugh, fine. But only because of Hoseok."

"Let's get litty tonight," Jeongguk yelled, immediately looking around nervously. Eventually catching the glare of Celine and Jin,"Um, not too litty though."

Jin then let the floodgates open. Celine had never seen him yell, and she wished she never did. The man's face turned completely red, the veins in his neck standing out. Jeongguk just stood there, hands clasped together like a little kid. Nodding his head up and down at his elder's words.

When Jin was done scolding him, they hugged. The moment could have been cute if Celine wasn't internally freaking out.

She had to remember everything she learned from being a sugar baby. Never show emotions. Never lose your cool. Never fall in love.

She broke the last one. But at least she could pretend.

For the time being, Jin decided to stay over. He wanted to help pick out an outfit. Jin was also really nervous to see Namjoon, so he wanted to spend some time with friends before then. Celine was thankful for him staying, because their playful banter helped keep her mind off of the negativity in her mind.

Jin and Celine walked into the master bedroom, telling Jeongguk to stay outside.

"So what happened with Jimin?" Said Jin, closing the door behind them loudly.

Celine opened up her closet, her back facing Jin so that he couldn't read her face. Trying to stay nonchalant as the loaded question crossed her mind. Rifling through dresses. Randomly pulling out material that looked pretty, but she really wasn't paying that much attention.

"Nothing major. I was just happy to see him."

She heard him sigh. His footsteps walking just a little bit closer. His voice lowered, making sure that Jeongguk wouldn't even be able to hear if he was in the same room.

"Cut the bullshit and spill the real tea."

Celine's hands stopped moving. Her eyes closed slowly, tightly to block out everything. Her feelings. Her thoughts. Her heart.

But she couldn't lie to Jin. She was tired lying.

The girl turned around slowly. Jin watched, concerned to see the tears swimming in her now pink irises.

Had things gone badly with Jimin?

She looked as if she was drowning, looking for a way to reach the surface. Mouth opening and closing as if she were gasping for air.

The small girl wrapped her arms around her body. As if she were physically holding herself together. Jin wanted to help sew her back up.

"I think I like him."

Suddenly her tears rushed forward, a waterfall on her delicate face. Jin had never heard the strong girl sound so fragile, it scared him. He remembered then that she was only 18. She was so young, yet so mature. No matter how much he was glad to hear those words from her, he knew that her acceptance of her feelings wouldn't change anything.

It would only hurt her more.

"Oh, sweetie. I'm sorry." He said sincerely, bringing the short girl into his chest. Her long hair tickled his chin, the warm tears flooding through the fabric of his shirt.

He didn't really care. This girl had become a little sister to him. The older man wanted to protect her at all cost.

"It's not your fault." She said, choking through some of her tears.

Celine stepped back, rubbing away at the moisture on her face. Her cheeks were all red and flushed, eyes more golden because of crying. She hated that this had to happen.

Along with lying, she was tired of being sad.

Jin gave her a look of sympathy, his almond shaped eyes attempting to bring her comfort. He pursed his large lips, thinking of exactly what to say to someone who'd lost all hope.

"I know, but I also know how hard this is going to be. I remember when I realized that I loved Namjoon. I felt like I'd been punched in the gut and run over by a truck. And that's without all your extra problems. I can't even imagine not being able to fully express that feeling."

"I'm trying my best. I can't say anything. Do you know how wrong of me it would be to tell Jimin now? It's such manipulation. I'm still in a relationship, despite everything that's going on. I'm dragging him along, making us sacrifice everything. And I don't even know how he feels. And this whole thing is terribly wrong in the first place. I feel like the worst person in the world. Jeongguk doesn't deserve this. Neither does Jimin."

Celine waited, knowing that he couldn't deny what she said. Even if she wasn't a bad person, she had acted like one. And to most people, actions speak louder than words.

"True, but Jeongguk also doesn't deserve you." Jin said, giving her a pointed look.

Celine scoffed, not believing that one but. Jeongguk was practically perfect. She was the one that didn't deserve him. He reminded her every day of that.

Everyone was too good for her.

Especially Jimin.

"You're just saying that to make me feel better."

Celine was jolted as he took her by the shoulders, forcing her to look in his deep brown eyes.

"No, I'm saying it because you need to hear it. Both of you are my friends. Jimin as well. I want everyone to be happy and fulfilled with their lives. We both know that this isn't for you."

Celine pouted, knowing he was completely right. But he made it sound to simple. There were so many people and feelings that she had to maneuver around.

It would basically be impossible to keep everyone happy.

Her's was last on the list that she cared about.

"But I can't leave him Jin, you know that. You should have seen him when I came home, he was basically broken. I think he'd go crazy if I left. And its not like I'd even be able to go to Jimin after that. I think he would hurt him, and I wouldn't be able to recover from that. At the very least it would ruin their friendship. It would be fucking evil."

It was silent, for a second between them. The magnitude of the problem was truly great. And really, it seemed like the universe really wanted to fuck the young girl over.

"God, fate really is a bitch." Said Jin, shaking his head.

"Yeah, and love is an asshole." Celine replied cynically.

The sun shifted in the window, casting a light onto Celine. Soft and fair in the light, Jin noticed she really did look like an angel. She just looked so sad. Too sad for a person whose barely lived their life.

Yes she'd made mistakes.

But everyone has a chance at redemption.

"Leave Jeongguk when you're ready. Don't rush it. But don't force yourself to be unhappy for the sake of saving feelings." Jin said softly, hoping she'd really listen to him. Understand that he wouldn't push her, and that he would help along the way.

Her eyes closed quickly again. He could tell she was holding back. The girl often bottled up her emotions.

"I don't want to lose a friend either Jin. He's been there for me."

Sheltered me from the world.

"Time heals all wounds. He will have to suck it up eventually. And I think if he loves you enough, you'll be able to be friends again one day."

"I hope so." She said, giving him a small smile.

It was meant to reassure the dark haired man. But honestly it made him worry.

There's something else she's hiding. Something that no one can repair or fix. She holds the weight of a thousand stars across her shoulders. The blue velvet of the sky ready to crack under all of it.

"Holy fuck." Jin said, looking to Celine's left. His eyes widening as if he saw a large spider.

"What?" Celine asked, a bit confused at his outburst.

He walked forward, grabbing a millennial pink dress off of the bed

"I found your dress."

He handed it to Celine, the velvet feeling soft beneath her fingers. She was glad the weather warmed up, or else the sleeveless clothing item would have been a problem.

Jin ushered her to try it on. The dress was surprisingly easy to get on despite its tight fit. Celine looked in the mirror, liking the bustier neckline and the way the dress followed her curves. Honestly she'd never worn the dress before, and wouldn't have if Jin hadn't pointed it out.

"I'm gay and I still might nut." Her friend said, walking up behind her in the mirror.

The both started laughing, really loudly. They ignored Jeongguk, who yelled from the other room, asking what was so funny.

Jin wiped away the tears from his pink face, slapping Celine in the arm. She pushed him off of her a bit, still smiling at his weird sense of humor.

"I guess I'm wearing this then!" She said excitedly, deciding to be more positive. How would her being in a bad mood help anything?

She needed to have a good night.

Celine would live her life. Hang out with friends. Forget the drama. Dance. Hopefully everything would be okay, just for tonight.

They hung out for another couple of hours, waiting for Namjoon to pick them up. For a bartender, he was pretty rich. Celine was shocked when a Rolls Royce rolled up, and the purple haired man rolled the window down.

"Hop on in losers."

They all got into the car, Jin in the front and the other couple in the back. Namjoon gave Celine a warm smile, making her feel a lot calmer. He gave the man beside her a dirty look.

She's guessing her boyfriend didn't leave the best impression on him.

Celine wasn't going to lie, Jeongguk looked sharp. He parted his hair in a way she preferred and wore a silk blue shirt. Tucked into black jeans. It wasn't his usual style, but it looked really good on him none the less.

"You're staring." Said Jeongguk, jolting Celine out of her daze. He was smirking at her, knowing it was because he looked good.

"What, I can't stare at my boyfriend?" She snapped back, raising her eyebrow at him with a challenge.

He laughed, placing his arm around the back of her head rest. The man leaned down, allowing her to take in his smoky cologne.

"Oh no, it's fine. As long as I get to stare back."

Celine blushed. Knowing that this was something that would usually make her crazy. Make her want him.

But for some reason it made her uncomfortable. She subconsciously tightened the bomber jacket she wore, covering up any skin that could have been showing.

She placed a quick kiss on his cheek, and started to ask him about work. They conversed normally, all sexual thoughts put to the side. Celine figured this night would work out okay after all.

They arrived at Hoseok's club exactly on time. The person at the door was handing out roses, to one person per couple. Varying in color and size. Jeongguk was given a dark red one. Celine wondered why, knowing that it was way past Valentine's Day.

As if she asked aloud, Namjoon turned around to tell her.

"Since March is Yoongi's birthday month, Hoseok likes to do something special at his club. It happens every year, since Yoongi really likes roses."

The young girl nodded her head, thinking that it was very sweet of Hoseok to do. They all were truly the best friends' anyone could ask for.

They were all let in, with the help of Taehyung. He came to meet them at the club entrance. Celine ran up to him, complimenting the dark blue satin outfit he wore. It looked very pretty with his sandy hair and tan skin. They continued to talk as he led them to their VIP table.

And when he said VIP table, he really meant it. It was elevated over the rest of the club, almost like a smooth glass balcony. The table bottles of vodka rested on were encrusted with diamonds. The lighting held a more pink tone and there was a lot less crowded, but still pretty lit.

Everyone else was there.

Hoseok, sending them all a big smile. He already looked pretty drunk, much to Celine's amusement. He immediately walked over to give him a hug. Yoongi, looking edgy as hell in ripped jeans and a graphic hoodie.

And Jimin he was standing, not looking at any of them. Talking to a person beside him.

Celine was looking.

Her heart wrenched as she took in his appearance. It physically hurt her to look at him. It's always been the same feeling. But now it had a name.

Love.

His pretty face, outlined by the pink of the room. Lips dark and pink as always. His silver hair parted deeply to the side, showing his forehead. His body adorned in an all black outfit. Tight jeans showing off his thighs, a dress shirt with a v showing his smooth chest, and a Chanel blazer on top. He looked like luxury, like wealth.

He looked so perfect.

A fucking prince.

But then she noticed, Jimin had his arm wrapped around the girl's waist.

The sudden swell in her chest at the sight of him died within that instant.

"Hi everyone, I'd like you to meet Nari." He said with a smile, gesturing to the girl beside him.

Celine's blood was boiling. Feeling cold and hot all at once. That heavy feeling in her chest she couldn't shake off.

Jeongguk gave Jimin a wink, as if she were a good catch.

Who the fuck is this? Why the fuck is Jimin smiling?

Has he been with her the entire time they had been seeing each other?

Does he like her?

It was the last thought that caused a pain in her chest. The possibility that he could truly only accept Celine as a fuck buddy. And that he could possibly have feelings for this girl. And she would sit on the sidelines and let him be happy with someone else.

She seemed nice. She politely waved to everyone. Her hair was short and black, in a trendy haircut. She was about the same height as Jimin, model tall for a girl. Tan skin, unique eyes, and pretty teeth and perfect everything else.

Everyone else greeted her with polite hellos. Except Jin and Celine. Jin was busy staring to make sure Celine was okay and she was busy staring at her hands and trying not to punch a wall.

She's skinnier than me.

Her skin color is more tan.

(A/N): y'all are making me sad. 1st of all, Celine is saying this girls tanned and skin darker than her own is beautiful. Second of all your skin tone doesn't matter! Celine is just having a moment. Dark skin is beautiful and even if your county says fair skin is more beautiful, they are wrong. Pale skin is beautiful as well, and all the skin colors in between.

Her teeth are whiter.

Her blue designer dress was prettier than mine.

Does she kiss better than me? Is she funnier, smarter? Does Jimin like her better?

Jimin is sitting next to her and not next to me.

Celine tried to never compare herself to anyone. The act in itself was damaging. The only person she ever compared herself to was Mia.

And now this girl.

This girl who was innocent in all ways but one. She was touching Jimin's arm.

Jimin is allowed to be with other girls. I don't own him. He's a grown man. We are friends. He is just a sugar daddy. He's not mine. Fuck.

(A/N: the way y'all ignore she acknowledges she has no right to be jealous. Just so u can complain about her. Yes I see your silence.)

But then she also realized that she needed to calm down. The girl was assuming so many things before he even got a chance to explain. For all she knew, this Nari could be his personal assistant. Or living coat rack.

After hugging everyone, they all decided it would be best to sit and order drinks. Obviously the tab would be free because of Hoseok getting rid of the tab. Everyone sat around the circular table. Jeongguk next to Celine, next to Yoongi and Taehyung, next to Jimin and Nari, and then Hoseok, Jin, and Namjoon.

The tall intellectual man did not look happy about being placed next to Jeongguk. Celine saw him start to complain to Jin, who quickly kicked him under the table.

Celine made sure Jimin was looking when she took off her bomber jacket. The soft material fell off her shoulders, cascading with her hair down her back. The girl pushed out her lips and butt, just to add the full effect of the outfit. And her flawless nude makeup, because a bitch's highlight was blazing.

For the first time since she walked in, he looked at her. With his pretty, eye-lashed framed crescent eyes. His eyes raked up and down her body, but other then that he barely showed a reaction.

Unaffected.

Which didn't make sense because she'd seen the way she could make him react. Make him beg under her fingertips. Make him lose himself with her touch.

"Hey Celine." Jimin said, his angelic voice carrying over the loud music.

It didn't look like he cared.

It bothered her.

"Hi." She said curtly, sitting with a huff. The man was a little taken aback by her clipped tone, but didn't pay too much attention.

The girl did her best to ignore both Jimin and Nari. Whenever anyone would talk, she'd fervently pay attention. Whenever Jimin or Nari would, she'd look the other way or pretend to be sleeping. And it worked, for the most part.

But her heart would pound ten times harder when she heard Jimin laugh at something the girl said. Or smile in a direction that wasn't where Celine was sitting.

I thought that smile and laugh was for me.

Maybe it was petty, but she really didn't care. After making eye contact with Jin, she knew they would be talking mad shit later.

"So how have you been?" Said a slightly drunk Min Yoongi. The girl was glad he pulled her attention away from the others.

The brunette smiled as the blonde haired man slid her a vodka shot.

"Pretty fucking shitty actually, how about you?"

The cute man showed his gums, acknowledging the humor they both shared. She found it so easy to talk to him because of how cynical and funny he was. They were alike in a lot of ways, and it made Celine feel like less of an outsider.

"Same. I'm actually getting bored of being sarcastic all the time."

"Really?" Celine asked, even though she already knew the answer.

"Lol nah, I love being an asshole. Hey Hoseok, suck my dick. See, amazing." He said, with a completely straight face.

Celine broke into a fit of giggles as Hoseok's mouth turned into a triangle. She basically lost it when the usually good natured man flipped his friend off.

Just then music cut out, cutting off her and Yoongi's conversations. Celine looked around, looking for the source of commotion. A person with a mic stood at the DJ podium.

"Hello everyone, thanks for coming to Club Luxe. Let's kick off tonight with our annual rose ceremony. Now whoever received a flower, give them to a special lady or gentleman. Show them you care."

Chatter filled the previously silent room. Everyone at her table started to talk again, smiles filling the space. Celine spaced out, staring at the lights until she felt a tap on her shoulder.

"For you, Celine." Jeongguk said, handing her the flower with a cute grin. Eyes crinkling at the corners.

The brunette smiled back, pushing her hair behind her ear as she accepted it with her right hand. It was red as the color of wine. She placed a small kiss on the side of her boyfriend's cheek, now marked with her lipstick. Taehyung awed at them, his hands clasping together with happiness.

"You guys are the cutest!" Said the deep voiced man.

She looked around, smiling even wider as she saw Namjoon give his to Jin's. Hoseok clutched his tightly, knowing that he was special to himself. Taehyung and Yoongi had already exchanged theirs, smiling widely and giving each other a bro handshake.

Her world turned into slow motion as she saw the last couple.

Celine held her rose behind her back.

Watching as Jimin gave his to Nari. It was pink.

She'd always liked pink roses better.

She gripped hers tighter, the thorns pricking into her skin. Eyes widening and jaw shaking as the petals fell off the stem, and slowly to the ground.

"I need a drink." Celine said, voice shaking as she handed the rose back to Jeongguk. Forgetting the fact that they already had plenty to drink at the table.

The man looked concerned, but she barely paid attention.

She just ran to the bar area, trying to cool her forehead with her freezing hand. She had no clue why she felt so shaky. Why her heart was pounding, filling with something like poison. She tried to calm herself down, ordering a red drink from the bar.

Don't even think about it. Nothing bothers you. Nothing can effect you.

After five minutes of leaving against te marble counter and ingesting alcohol, the girl had become emotionless. Numb to anything and everything. The cold girl she wished never to be, but needed to be.

Across the way, in her line of sight. Jimin, walking towards her. Looking fluid and graceful as he floated in

"Your hair looks nice." She said with a straight face, downing the rest of her cherry flavored drink.

"Thanks Celine." Jimin said, smiling at her as if he wasn't a huge dickhead. His hand instinctively ran through his parted locks, something that he did quite often. Celine still hadn't gotten over how hot he looked while doing it.

Damn him.

She couldn't believe he had the nerve to smile in that really cute way. Where his eyes crinkle up and it's literally the embodiment of cotton candy and Christmas. As if the man didn't fuck up her entire life and emotional stability.

Celine put a hand over her heart, mock laughing. It was more of a single chuckle, filled with pettiness and spite. And humor. Because this is how she coped with feelings she couldn't handle. Her tone softened up enough to try and hide the stupid feelings of self loathing though.

"Oh, you thought I was being serious? Cute."

Jimin's face was a mixture of disappointment and amusement. He actually was worried she didn't like his hair, and her words hadn't really helped. But he couldn't deny the fact that even when she was being bitchy, she was still funny. And cute.

"Did I do something wrong? Am I bothering you?" He asked, lips puffing out. Celine rolled her eyes at his genuinely confused demeanor.

"Nope not one bit. I'm unbothered." She said, and without another word se walked away.

The girl didn't turn back. Didn't want to see the look on his face. She was willing herself not to care.

Celine walked back to Jeongguk, falling into his chest. He accepted her hug, not really thinking anything weird about it.

"You okay honey?"

Celine looked up at him, her newly drunk self taking him in. Jeongguk looked so fucking good tonight. He was being sweet, like how he was at the beginning of their relationship. Right now, it was easy. Easy to lie. She would pretend to love him. Just like she had before.

"I've never been better."

A song came on then, one of Celine's favorites. A slow, and very sensual song. It was perfect for the moment.

She pulled on Jeongguk, not caring that he usually didn't like to dance. She managed to easily get him out of his seat and away from the table. It was shitty, but she was going to use him. She wanted Jimin to watch.

Pulling on his arm, they went to the center of the dance floor. Luckily he had drank enough to loosen up, and not complain about being dragged out.

The red lights poured over their bodies like cherry wine.

With the lighting, music, and drinks, girl started to be transported into another world. Celine kissed Jeongguk softly, giving him her best seductive stare. The man stood stiff, slack jawed for a moment as she held onto his shoulders and swayed her hips from side to side. She came back up, kissing his jaw which made the dark haired man shiver. She knew she'd only be in control for a little bit before Jeongguk's dominant side would come out.

He often never let her play with him.

She turned away from him, pulling in his hands so that he was clutching her waist. The girl could feel the heat of his large hands through the fabric of her dress. She flicked her gaze over to the man she wanted to bother.

Jimin was standing at the bar, both hands behind his back. His jaw set in tight line. He was looking.

Rubbing into Jeongguk, feeling him grow hard against her. He ground against her roughly, enough to cause strain his muscles. She felt how strong he was when he held onto her hips and pulled her down onto him.

And then the silver haired Adonis was gone. Much to her disappointment. Some of her fervor was lost.

But Jeongguk didn't notice. He continued to press himself into her, wrap his fingers in her hair.

"Jesus Celine." He gasped out, sweat starting to form on him. Celine didn't speak, just arched her neck back so that her mouth would be close to his. Jeongguk responded by letting his aggressively lips find hers. They made out a little bit, Celine almost losing herself in it.

Until her person came back into view.

Jimin was with Nari now, right in front of them. Though they were at a distance, it was as if they were too close still. It was the worst thing she'd ever seen, with her drunk and blurry vision. It was like watching her nightmares through a veil. Unstoppable and too real all at once.

The lights flashed red over them, over him. All the ways he touched her, he was doing to Nari. She watched as his skilled hands traced up and down her sides. His body rolled with hers to the slow music.

His pretty fingers, like the scrolls of a violin pulled her hair aside. Lips that hummed a melody with Celine's began to move back and forth, making the girl smirk. Jimin's pulled on her waist, bringing her tightly to his chest. He nipped at her neck, bloodlust making her arch her back. He grabbed onto the girl's hair, roughly pulling on it to bring her neck closer to his mouth.

Celine was fucked in the head.

It was a mixture of being turned on and absolute rage.

But suddenly, he wasn't focused on Nari. The angel faced man was staring directly at her. But he didn't look like an angel now. He looked like a demon, dressed in all black, ready to take the girl into his own personal hell. In which she would have willingly gone.

He looked up at Celine through his lashes, eyes blazing red as leaned down to kiss the girl's neck. Then winked at her.

He knew what he was fucking doing.

"I feel sick." Celine said suddenly, voice shaking and unstable.

The girl honestly felt as if she could pass out. The music was blaring, and her body started to heat up. Her mouth was watering, her jaw aching in the corners. She needed to escape the crowded room.

Jeongguk tried to hold onto her, asking what was wrong. If she was okay. She ripped from his grasp.

The brunette sobered up quickly, as she felt a familiar ache in her throat. One that had happened more times than she could count. But she would not cry tonight. Ending up on a balcony outside. The cool air helped calm her sticky skin, the redness on her cheeks. But the internal turmoil she was feeling was not able to be remedied.

She hated herself for so many reasons.

1) Acting like a dumbass and making a fool out of herself...

Yep that pretty much covered it.

She wanted to cry. Wanted to scream. Wanted to get sick. All to get rid of that gross feeling her stomach. The coldness in her heart she really couldn't place.

"Hey."

There it was. The voice of a fallen angel. Slowly, she turned around to face the culprit. He was breathing hard, the black fabric of his shirt straining against his chest. Lips darker and swollen from someone else's. His hair was more dark and failing into his eyes from sweat. His tongue swiped across his bottom lips to wet them.

Why did he have to fucking follow her?

Didn't he know he was the last person she wanted to see?

The only person I want to see.

"Oh would you look at the time. It's getting late, so leave off." Celine said, giving him an attitude. She tried not to look at him. Tried not to fall for his enchanting face, and entrancing smile.

Because she was fragile enough to do so in this moment. She could feel it, that pull towards him.

And he didn't even want me.

Go away.

Stay with me.

He came closer. His footsteps getting louder as he neared her. Suddenly, she could smell his sweet cologne and feel his warmth against her right side. She wanted to lean into him. But she didn't.

I-fucking-love-you.

It was so different from how they were yesterday. When they were alone. Celine was guarded now.

Because if she wasn't, her heart would suffer.

"I don't want to fuck off. I want to stay right here." He said, proving his point by stomping his feet dramatically to the ground.

In any other circumstance, Celine would find it cute.

But her chest tightened, and she turned into the cold person she was before they met.

"Why don't you want to stay with Nari? She seems like she'd willingly fuck off with you." Celine said, her voice sounding to harsh even to her. He faltered under her intense gaze, falling back a few steps.

She was sorry before the words could even come out. Because she had no claim over him. And yet all the same he couldn't have known how she felt.

He never once complained about seeing her and Jeongguk together. He always had a feign air of carelessness around him. Like Jimin didn't even notice when Jeongguk touched her.

How could he possibly understand?

She thought he would get mad. Yell. Or maybe even walk away.

But the beautiful man smiled. His eyes crinkling in a mischievous way. As if she said exactly what he wanted to her.

"Wow, I can't believe this. You're so fucking hot when you're jealous Celine." Jimin said, voice deepening as he took a step towards her.

Celine's stomach lurched, as he got closer. She wasn't sure where to focus. His lips, his eyes. They were all too dangerous right now.

"Jealous? Of that? And you? Fuck that."

"Lying is a sin." Jimin said, basically purring at this point.

Again she could feel her tough facade waning under his stare. He was using his seduction on her, and it was working too well. One more thing and Celine would be gone.

"I'm not lying." She said defiantly, sticking her chin out.

But she knew he was right.

What she felt when he had his arm around that girl.

What she felt when he mentioned her sister.

She now recognized the emotion. Envy. Jealousy. The wrongness and disgusting feeling of it. It was something she wanted to expel.

It honestly one of the worst feelings.

That he could think someone else was better for him than her.

What was worse was that he wasn't hers to be jealous over.

She had no right to be this way. And she knew it. Celine had a fucking boyfriend, yet she acted like a hypocrite.

If she wasn't going to tell Jimin her feelings, what say did she have?

They weren't dating.

Jimin could date other girls.

He could kiss whoever he wanted.

And Celine would have to sit back and watch.

She had no clue that Jimin felt the same way, as he stared at her and Jeongguk.

How he wished he could walk into his apartment, and see her sitting on his couch.

For her to call him pet names.

For them to go out on real dates.

But he decided to hide his feelings behind lust.

"Babe, I was jealous for a second too. When Jeongguk had his arms around your waist and his lips caressed your skin. You looked so seductive, your neck arching and your lips wide open. But then I remembered only I can make you feel that good." The man said, his voice sounding more possessive than ever.

Jealous, not of the relationship. But of Jeongguk being able to freely touch her how he pleased. Of course, it made sense.

But nonetheless she was stolen into his aura.

He knows had her pinned between his two arms, not allowing her to escape. All she could do was stare right into his feverish eyes. She'd never seen him this way. But Jimin truly never followed her expectations.

Celine tried her best to ignore the tingle that ran through her body. She swallowed harshly, her breathing speeding up a bit. She subconsciously moved a little closer to his lips.

"You really think that?" Said Celine, trying to keep up her unaffected front. What he said was pretty true, and it fucking pissed her off. It was very hard, when her eyes felt heavy and her stomach was doing flip flips.

His words were enough to turn her on. But then he smiled, white teeth glinting like a predator in the low lighting.

"I know that's the truth. Especially since you were looking at me while he was doing it. Were you imagining me? Running my hands up and down your sides. Biting your skin, watching the blood rush up into it. Making you wet. And your dress, I hate it on you. It belongs on my bedroom floor."

Jimin leaned forward and fucking bit her bottom lip. She almost fell to the ground, as her knees gave out.

Though his words made her weak in the knees, she covered it up with humor. It was the only way she was going to make it through this alive.

"I didn't know you wrote fifty shades of gray Jimin."

It worked, making him back away just a bit. It gave Celine time to breath, and to recollect her wild emotions. He ran both of his hands through his damp hair, resting them on his hips.

"Celine, seriously I didn't mean to make you mad."

"I'm not mad, I'm just-"

"Jealous?" He said, interrupting with a matter of fact tone.

"Nope. I'm worried for you. As a close friend of yours, I'd watch out for her. She had her eyes on Yoongi's Rolex the whole time." Celine said, her large eyes wide as she nodded her head up and down.

Jimin rolled his eyes, wondering if the girl thought he'd actually fall for that. He could tell by the pink in her cheeks that she was lying just as much as he was holding back from kissing the jealously out of her.

"Sure babe. But as a disclaimer, she's really just there for show. I thought about what you said before, about how I was too obvious with you. And you were right. I thought if I have a girl on my arm, Jeongguk will be way less likely to suspect anything."

Relief filled her lungs just a little bit. Suddenly the world didn't feel so dark, and the air so suppressing. Her mood instantly lightened a bit, as she felt a shiver of excitement enter her body.

she's just there for show.

Music to her ears.

But she was still not completely happy, for the image of them dancing together flashed across her mind. And wouldn't leave.

"I guess that makes sense. But you looked like you were enjoying it just a little too much."

He shook his head, walking forward a bit. Let his hands rest upon her jaw as her forced her to look at his obsidian eyes. His face was filled with heat, a soft passion that she'd yearned from him the entire night.

"Because I imagined she was you the whole time too."

"How romantic." She said, ignoring the pang she felt in her heart with cynicism. In reality, his words affected her more than anything. Her whole body felt alight. He was instantly forgiven even though she wouldn't admit it.

She wanted to fuck him right then and there.

"Fine, I suck and I won't bring her around again."

"It's your life, do what you want." Celine said, pretending to not care. The girl shrugged her shoulders up and down as Jimin pouted.

"So that means I should do you tonight, right?" He said smoothly, though his actions contrasted his words. He was basically embracing her now, her small body pressed into his chest. Celine has to strain her head back to stare at him.

"Hmm, maybe. Probably not." The girl said, acting coy.

"Celine babe, how could I possibly make it up to you?" He said, finally placing just the tiniest kiss onto her temple.

The girl smiled up at him, pulling his hips towards her. His mouth gasped open, his eyes looking down ravenously at her.

"I have an idea."

(A/N): I feel like y'all are going to low key hate me for this chapter. But I live for an enemies to lovers jealous dance scene. Oops.

[There should be a GIF or video here. Update the app now to see it.]

I really hope you can tell that in this chapter, it's supposed to be in Celine's head. It's more choppy, and there is a lot less plot details. I wanted to focus on emotions and the effect of hiding emotions even when the person is telling their point of view. I hope it didn't feel too rushed, but it was supposed to be a little bit. Kind of like when something bad happens and everything just becomes a blur.

Or when you're with someone you like, and all you can focus on is that person.

Btw what I imagined Jimin to look like during/after dancing scene because OMFGGGGGG
