Nine

"I'll find him on my own, guys. I just need to call the men and tell them I have the damn money!" I argued as I went to enter my house.

"You don't even know how to control your abilities." Scott said as I turned around, my eyes shifting to yellow as my anger began to rise.

"I think I can handle it." I seethed as he glared at me. "It's just some guys with weapons. I'll manage." I ran up the stairs as Stiles and Scott followed.

"You need backup!" Stiles spoke as I walked into Jeremy's room. I turned to Stiles, who stammered slightly. "You can't be too safe." He chuckled awkwardly.

"I said I'll be fine. Now get out, I need to do this alone." I looked around for a moment while trying to search for my phone, before realizing it broke in the accident. "Dammit!" I yelled as the two brunettes flinched.

"Dean, let us he—"

"NO! I don't need your help! I don't need anybody's help!" I stormed over to Jeremy's dresser and grabbed one of his shirts. "Can I track him by scent?" I asked, not turning to the two.

"Well yeah but—" I didn't let Scott finish, taking a deep inhale of the shirt and opened my eyes, the world now red and black, and sort of fuzzy.

I turned my head towards them. "I don't need your help." I repeated before running out of the house as fast as I could, Jeremy's shirt flowing in the wind as I had gripped it tightly in my grasp.

Before I even knew what was going on, I was being slammed against a tree, staring down at Scott.

"Let me go!" I snapped as he shook his head. I looked around, but Stiles was no where to be seen. He had to be just starting up the Jeep.

"If you find Jeremy you'll kill the people that took him. We don't kill people." Scott grumbled as I shoved him off.

"You mean your pack doesn't kill people. I'm not apart if your pack! Besides, you're an Omega, aren't you? I'm already stronger than you." I said with a cocky voice. I had no idea where the way I was talking was coming from. But if I was being honest, I didn't want it to go away.

"We are stronger together, Dean. I can hold off the kidnappers and you can get Jeremy out of there." The two of us turned our heads as the noise of Stiles Jeep alerted us, watching as the boy stepped out of his car.

I turned back to Scott. "Fine. I'm only letting you guys help so you'll stay off my ass." I swore as the two nodded slowly, Stiles only having a sliver of a clue of what was going on.

"Trust me, that won't happen for a long time." Stiles sighed.

I stared at the decently sized and run down house, a strong smell of fear and anger wafting into my nose from the door. "Jeremy is definitely in there."

"Shouldn't we call my dad so you... y'know... don't kill anyone?" Stiles asked as I scoffed, turning to him.

"And risk them hearing the sirens and running off, with my brother or killing him? I'd rather be thrown off the Cliff in The Maze Runner." I said as Stiles frowned.

"What's The Maze Runner?" He asked, but I didn't answer since I started walking up to the door. And since I still wasn't exactly a prick, I knocked.

"Yeah hold on." The man who had called me said. I turned around and waved off Scott and Stiles, who hid away quickly.

I turned back around to see the door open and the man's eyes wide with surprise. "How did you find us?" He asked as I shrugged.

"That doesn't matter at the moment. Where is my brother?" I asked, trying to sound threatening but I wasn't sure it worked very well.

"Do you have the money?" He asked with a cheeky grin as I glared at him.

"Not unless I see my brother." I said sternly. The man stared at me for a moment before slapping the door and turning his head inside.

"Jason! Get the kid!" He yelled, clearing his throat and turning back to me. He opened his mouth to speak, Jason yelling back before he could.

"Which one?" Jason yelled as my eyes widened in disbelief. They had more than Jeremy?

"The one that's been trying to calm the other's down, you dink!" He snapped as I heard shuffling, followed by a yell of terror that sounded a lot like Jeremy.

Another man, Jason, revealed himself behind his leader, showing Jeremy, who was bruised to a pulp. My breathing hitched before I became high with anger, clenching my fists tightly. I winced, looking down at my hands to see that claws had dug into my skin and caused me to bleed.

"Now. He money." Jason grinned, showing only a few teeth and a golden one. J looked back up at them, hearing Stiles' whispers of telling me not to attack them.

"You aren't getting any money." I snatched the man by the collar of his shirt and yanked him forward, causing him to fly down the stairs. I turned to see Scott already pinning him down.

I stopped when I heard a gun cock, turning around slowly. There was a gun pressed against Jeremy's neck, his eyes filled with horror and tears as Jason looked just as scared.

"Don't you take... a-another step." He stuttered as I growled lowly.

"Let. Him go." I demanded, listening to Jason gulp loudly.

"Give me the money. Or the kid dies." He threatened. I looked away as I felt my face morphing. And honestly, it was pretty painful. I hoped it wouldn't hurt as much later on.

"I said. Let him go." My fangs caused me to have a slight lisp, slowly turning around. Thankfully, Jeremy's eyes were now glued shut, so he didn't see my face. Jason, on the other hand, was scared shitless.

"JESUS CHRIST—" He went to aim the gun at me, but I jumped forward, grabbing his wrist and twisting it around until I heard a snap. I grabbed Jeremy as Jason crumpled to the ground in pain, picking my brother up and bolting out of the house.

I ran over to Stiles, looking at Scott who had knocked out the other man. "They have others. You call the cops and make sure Jeremy is safe." I told Stiles who just stared at me, nodding slowly and taking Jeremy as Scott and I ran back in the house.

"They're probably in the basement. But I'll check as many places as I can." Scott said as I nodded, quickly going down into the basement as I felt my face morph back to normal.

I slammed the door open and heard several kids scream in fear before they stopped. There were so many. Some of them were even my age.

One of them... I knew.

"Dean?!" I heard Casandra ask in confusion as She stood up. She had been missing for months.

"Oh my god... Cas." I whispered, walking over and hugged her as tightly as I could. "We all thought you were dead."

I listened to her soft cries as she melted into the hug. "I'm so happy you found us all..." Casandra suddenly stopped crying, looking at me nervously "Jeremy. They took Jeremy is he—"

"He's okay, Casandra. My Friends have him. The police are on their way we need to get out of here." I ushered everyone out as quickly as I could, making sure all of them were out before following them up the stairs.

When I had gotten out of the house the police were already there, Sheriff Stilinski already walking up to me.

"So how did you find them? And... how are you walking?" He asked, eyeing me suspiciously. I chuckled nervously.

"They told me the address before the crash. And well... some questions don't need answers." I quickly walked down the steps as Jeremy jumped off of the ambulance, throwing the blanket off of him and running over to me.

I knelt down as he jumped into my arms, hugging him tightly.

"I'm so glad you're okay..."
