Papyrus watches as this other skeleton comes running up. In your opinion, he was the cutest thing you've ever seen. The blue scarf around his neck was just too precious.

"Oh hey, bro."

He stops in front of Papyrus, and you gawk at how tiny he was. But you have no room to talk while standing to your new friend. His gaze shifts up to you, the stars in his eyes lighting up.

"Papy, what's that?" He asks, bouncing around like a child on a sugar high.

Papyrus looks up to you, seeing you smiling at the short skeleton.

"This is my new hat. Like it?"

"I don't think hats bREATHE!" Sans freaks out, pointing dramatically to you.

"That's a human! Papy you're not useless after all!"

Papyrus huffs, setting you down on the ground, clearly disliking that little comment. You pat his leg, trying to comfort him somewhat.

"Uh, hi! I'm (Y/n)." You hold out your hand, making sure your sleeve was pulled all the way down.

The peppy skeleton stares at your hand before nearly shaking it off you.

"I, THE MAGNIFICENT SANS, WELCOME YOU!"

You let out a faint 'awww' at how he spoke in 3rd person. Though, you didn't like the feeling of your arm being shaken off.

"Oh wait, I can't make friends with you!" Sans pulls away, crossing his arms.

"What? Why not?" You 'tear' up.

"Don't cry! I'll keep you a secret from Alphys!" He panics.

He gives on more nervous smile before running off in a hurry. You watch him leave, smirking evilly.

"Actor (Y/n) strikes again!" You laugh, turning around to face Papyrus.

"Anyway, was that your brother? He was adorable!" You coo, pulling down your sweater sleeves again.

Papyrus notices you pull down your sleeves, but didn't say anything. You tilt your head, waiting for an answer.

"Yep. He's a little bundle of joy... and add 3 tons of sugar." He sighs, smiling to himself, even if he was smiling all the time.

"I liked him. Now, let's go. I'm freezing my butt off." You point towards where Sans run away.

"Yeah, okay. Just... one thing before we leave." He bends down, putting a boney hand on your shoulder.

"Be careful around Sans. In the past, he went insane and killed almost everyone and everything. That's until his girlfriend reset."

You stare, shocked and kind of frightened. That little cutie killed everyone? You were also curious about this girlfriend of his.

"Who was his girlfriend? Is she here now?" You ask, feeling guilty about all of the questions.

"After the reset, she never came back. I think if she did, Sans would go crazy again."

You nod, silently thanking him for the warning. If you couldn't even be safe around Sans, then who could you be around? Papyrus may be hiding something and you don't know it.

"Hey! You said he wouldn't hurt a fly!" You cross your arms, glaring at him playfully.

"That's because I didn't know you well enough yet. I trust you, though." He boops your nose.

You roll your eyes, walking behind him, climbing onto his back and sitting on his shoulders.
"I trust you, too." You smile.

You kick your legs, pointing dramatically towards the path up ahead.

"To Narnia! GO GO!" You shout, honestly enjoying yourself.

You hear him groan, lighting another cigarette before heading on.

But a question remained stuck to your mind the whole way there.

Who was this girlfriend that Papyrus was talking about?
