This is my first Hamilton fan fiction! Actually, no, I should back up. This is my first fan fiction in general. Because I've never done this before, I don't expect it to go perfectly, so just bear with me.

This story is basically an AU that follows Eliza Schuyler's tragic love story, in which at the winter's ball Eliza notices Angelica's reaction to seeing Alexander before Angelica can notice Eliza's. Because Eliza loves her sister, she lets Angelica marry Hamilton, but tragedy plays out nevertheless.

Also! Be warned. What you comment might effect the outcome of the story. If you read something in this story that you think sounds foreboding, you must be very careful. Take it from me: I once commented on a foreboding-sounding sentence in a Wattpad book and inspired the author to consider killing off one of their main characters.

But anyway. Back to the story.

I'm using historical appearances for this book (just so you know in case anyone becomes confused) but feel free to imagine the Hamilcast if you like! In all honesty, I've gotten to the point in which paintings of the founding fathers have started to look unrealistic. I'm serious. Say 'Alexander Hamilton' and I'll picture Lin-Manuel Miranda.
