Shanghai, China...

At the boys' house...

Ten and Xiali had decided to make hotpot for tonight's dinner. The two are now having dinner together before they decide to continue with a good movie.

"So how was work?" ask Ten before he continues with his dinner.

"Nothing much," says Xiali before she takes a sip of her warm cup of tea. "Just the fact that Lucas showed up at the bar."

"Oh..how did he know you were there?" Ten ask with curiousity while feeling irritated at the thought of the tall guy approaching Xiali at her work place.

"He asked me what I was doing after college, and so I told him. He said that he wanted to visit me at work, and also check out the bar," Xiali says.

"Oh...I see," says Ten as he continues with his dinner.

Xiali starts to stare at Ten as he continue to eat his dinner with a slightly annoyed look on his face.

"Are you jealous?" Xiali ask as she forms a smirk on her face.

"No, I'm not," Ten says.

"Well, you don't need to be jealous anyway. After my shift ended, he asked me out for dinner but I turned him down," Xiali says.

"So you're telling me that you just turned him down?" ask Ten as he raise one of his eyebrow.

"Yeah. I prefer to spend time with people I already know. I don't have time for him," Xiali says, before she continues with her dinner.

Ten turns his head to look at Xiali as he forms a small smile on his face. "Well, I guess I could consider myself lucky," says Ten.

"Why?" Xiali ask.

"Because you don't have time for him but you have time for me," says Ten with a small smile. "I'm thankful."

Xiali starts blushing as she turns her head to look away, not wanting to look at Ten.

"Well, you're my friend. Of course I have time for you," says Xiali.

"And isn't he your friend too?" Ten ask.

"Just because we knew each other, it doesn't make us friends," says Xiali. "Friendship takes trust and process."

"You're right," says Ten before he takes a sip of his warm cup of tea.

After a while, the two finish with their hotpot and start cleaning up.

Seoul, South Korea...

As the party goes on, everyone starts to get lost with the music as they dance the night away while drinking more and getting more crazy under the lights. Slowly they start to get tipsy in their steps, even Taeyong and Yeri are pretty drunk at this point.

Meanwhile, Kun and Xiaojun are having a nice talk with with Jaehyun and Jungwoo. The four guys are starting to get more tipsy since they've been drinking more and more.

"Man...what a night," Xiaojun says as he takes another sip of his red wine.

"Looks like Xiaojun is already pretty drunk," says Jungwoo as he stares at Xiaojun's drunk eyes.

"I'm 100% fine and not drunk," Xiaojun says in a drunk tone.

"He's definetly drunk," Jaehyun says, before he takes another sip of his red wine.

Kun just lets out a chuckle at the sight of Xiaojun getting more drunk.

"By the way, where's Ten?" Jungwoo ask.

"He's in Shanghai taking care of a friend," Kun says.

"Ah I see. That's why we didn't see him tonight," Jaehyun says.

Meanwhile, after drinking quite a lot, Yangyang and Karina decides to hit the dance floor again, though both of them are starting to feel tipsy at this point.

"I think Yuta saw us," Yangyang says as he continues to dance with Karina.

"He's been staring at us since an hour ago," says Karina, making Yangyang surprise.

"Really?" ask Yangyang as he sounds both confused and surprised at the same time.

"Yeah," says Karina in a low tone. "By the way, thanks for dancing with me tonight, Yangyang."

"No problem," says Yangyang as he tries to focus his vision on Karina despite feeling more and more tipsy.

The two continue to dance as their steps gets messier. Through out the dance, Yangyang couldn't help but think about Xiali everytime he stares at Karina. As he gets more tipsy by the night, he finds it harder to not think about her. He thought maybe he's drunk enough to see her in his mind, or maybe he just miss her too much.

Out of his surprise, Karina wraps her arms around Yangyang's waist in the middle of the dance. Yangyang looks down at the girl, as he notice that tears slowly starts to fall from her eyes. He gently strokes her hair as he tries to comfort her.

"Don't leave me," says Karina as tears continue to fall from her eyes. "I can't take anymore heartbreaks," Karina adds in a tipsy tone.

Hearing that, Yangyang gently wraps his arms around Karina as he tries to calm her down. Though his mind is still thinking about Xiali, he realize that Karina needed his comfort at the moment.

Shanghai, China...

In the living room, Ten and Xiali are watching a romantic movie just like Ten insisted, in which Xiali agreed since she's also quite fond of romantic movies. Ten had also prepared some snacks on the small table.

Ten notice that Xiali is starting to get lost in the movie. He would glance at her in every chance as he thought about how cute she looks when she's all mesmerized.

"How is the movie?" Ten ask before he takes another glance at her.

"So far, nice," Xiali says as she keeps her vision on the TV screen.

Meanwhile...

Seoul, South Korea...

Karina and Yangyang are now pretty drunk and are dancing slower and messier. The two had their arms wrapped around each other's waist the whole night, with Karina not wanting to let go.

"You ok?" Karina ask as she notice that Yangyang looks pretty drunk.

"Yeah, I'm good," says Yangyang with a drunk tone. "Excuse me for a minute. I'll be right back." Yangyang lets go of their embrace and walks in a tipsy manner to a corner which is not too crowded. While being drunk, he pulls out his phone from his pocket and calls Xiali. All he could think about now was how much he want to see her.

Shanghai, China...

Ten continues to stare at Xiali without her concern as she's too busy getting lost in the movie. Ten took this chance to admire her beauty from the side. He starts to form a small on his face at the sight of the beautiful girl sitting next to him getting lost in a romantic movie. He thought his plan was starting to fall in place, when Xiali's phone suddenly rings, making both of them surprised.

Xiali turns her head to look at her ringing phone on the table. She picks up her phone to see who is video calling her.

Yangyang...

Xiali thought as she smiles and picks up the video call.

"Hi Yangyang!" Xiali says with a happy tone. She's happy to see her best friend again through video call after a few days of not seeing each other.

"Xiali..what are you doing?" ask Yangyang in a drunk tone.

"I'm watching a movie with Ten," says Xiali. She starts to notice that Yangyang's eyes looks really drunk. "Are you drunk, Yangyang?" ask Xiali with a concern tone.

"Yeah," says Yangyang in a drunk tone. "Xiali....I miss you," Yangyang adds as he tries to focus on Xiali through the video call.

"I miss you too, Yangyang," says Xiali as she smiles after hearing Yangyang's words. Meanwhile, Ten watches Xiali having a video call with Yangyang without her concern. Somehow, he feels a bit irritated that Yangyang called while the two are having a movie night together.

"Xiali," says Yangyang.

"Yes, Yangyang," says Xiali with a smile as she waits for what her friend was about to say next.

Yangyang is about to tell Xiali that he had been thinking about her, when he suddenly hears a sound of familiar girl walking towards.

"What took you so long?" Karina ask in a drunk and aggresive tone.

Yangyang turn his head to look at Karina who is pretty drunk at this point while still having the video call with Xiali.

"What was that?" Xiali ask with a curious tone.

"I told you to not leave me!" Karina says as she wraps her arms around Yangyang's waist again, making Xiali surprise at the sight through the video call.

"Don't leave me!" Karina says in a low tone as she starts to tear up again.

Xiali became shock at the sight of Yangyang being hugged by a girl she doesn't know. She looks at Yangyang as she waits for an answer, but he is too drunk to even gather the energy to explain to her the situation.

"You look busy. I shouldn't disturb you," Xiali says with disappointment in her voice.

"I'll talk to you later," Yangyang says as he starts to caress Karina's hair to comfort her from crying.

"Yeah, bye!" Xiali says before ending the video call. She puts down her phone and goes back to watch the movie with a disappointed feeling.

Ten saw what happened between Xiali and Yangyang during the video call, and he was also surprised to know that Yangyang and Karina are together tonight. By the looks of how Karina acted made a scene that they could actually have a thing for each other.

Ten notice that Xiali looks sad. He thought it was because she saw Yangyang with Karina. By the way she stared at Yangyang, Ten knew Xiali has feelings for him that are more than friendship. He feels bad for her.

Out of the blue, Ten decides to lighten the now awkward situation. He walks to the kitchen and grabs a bottle of baijiu along with 2 glasses. He walks back to the living room and puts down the glasses on the table, before pouring the baijiu into the glasses. Ten sits back beside Xiali and hands her a glass.

"Here," Ten says as he hands the glass to Xiali.

Xiali turns her head to look at the glass of clear liquior before accepting it.

She takes a sip of the drink and is surprise by how strong it feels. "So strong," says Xiali.

"Well, it's baijiu," says Ten before he takes a sip as well. "Are you bored? We could change the movie or maybe play some games if you want."

"No, I'm fine," says Xiali as she takes another sip of her baijiu. "I'm ok."

The two then starts drinking their drinks in awkward silence. Ten would take a chance to glance at Xiali. They eventually finish their first glass and continue to drink more as they watch the movie.

Xiali's POV...

My mind starts to travel at the thought of Yangyang and the girl. I knew that the guys are going to Taeyong and Yeri's wedding tonight, but I didn't expect Yangyang to attend the party with a girl. He never even told me anything about it, whether he has a girlfriend or that he's into someone. Somehow I felt a sharp pain in my heart when I saw them together. Why though? It's not like we're even dating. Besides he's my childhood friend, come to think of it I should be happy if he finds someone he actually likes, right?

But I guess my mind and heart are saying different things. I guess trying to make up for the lost time as friends just opened my heart to a deeper feeling. I start to see Yangyang as someone I really admire, and I'm not gonna lie that there were times that I wished that our relationship could turn into something more, especially after the morning kiss we shared. I feel like an idiot now that it hurts so bad.

"How long have they been together?" I ask Ten before I finish my glass of baijiu. Though it was so strong yet I didn't quite care since I already have a headache (and heartache) after the video call.

"Honestly, I don't really know," says Ten. "I thought Karina was going out with Yuta." Ten pours our empty glasses with baijiu again.

"Well, I'm glad he's happy," I say as I start to tear up. I must have drank too much baijiu that my feelings gets more sensitive.

The more I try to hold back the tears, the harder it feels that my feelings are fighting to let it all out. I eventually didn't care and just cry my eyes out. I didn't have the energy to pretend anymore.

"I'm really an idiot," I say as I continue to cry.

Suddenly I feel Ten's arm wrap around my shoulder and pulling me closer to his embrace. I didn't hesitate to wrap my arms around him tightly as continue to cry.

"Xiali....you're not an idiot," says Ten as he strokes my back gently. "Please don't say that. You're a good person," Ten adds. "You're kind and amazing."

I continue to sob in his embrace as he continues to stroke my back gently. His touch made me feel safe and comfortable, and for now I just want to stay in this moment forever.

After a few minutes, I pull back from the embrace and see that Ten's shirt is now stained with tears. I turn my head up and stare into his eyes. I start to get lost in his mesmerizing eyes.

Ten starts to get closer to me as I could feel the gap closing between us. He suddenly pulls me closer, making our faces only a few inches a part.

"Xiali..." says Ten with his arms now wrapped around my waist. In this tipsy state, both of us look like we are at lost of words.

I stare deeply into his eyes as I gently put my hands on his firm arms. Deep down even though we don't have much words to say, yet I could feel the desire in me rising up. Slowly I feel his hand on my cheek as he leans forward. I close my eyes and feel our lips touch, and for a moment it's like all my troubles are gone.

Our kiss gets deeper as our tongues starts embracing each other. I could feel his hands starts wondering around my body, in which I like it. We continue to kiss until I end up laying down on the couch, and he is now on top of me.

Ten suddenly pulls away as he notice he is now on top of me. His face turns a deep shade of red as we stare into each other's eyes.
