Tears of concrete
Dropping to the ground
Though they should be silent
They make a lot of sound

Tears of plastic
Pouring in the rain
Not a single word
Could take away the pain

Tears of wood
splintering against the sidewalk
Life is just a race
That's run against a clock

Tears of porcelain
Catch them why don't you
Solid as they seem
They break too

Tears of glass
Shattering against the earth
But my thoughts still seem to wonder
For what is it really worth

Tears of salty water
Streaming down my cheeks
Hiding is impossible
As my heart silently shrieks
