We made it back home with no leftovers, and with a little persuasion I was allowed to sleep in the bed I was in upstairs.

I laid in my new temporary bed. They call this place the monastery, and it's basically a giant ship. Escaping would be difficult, so luckily I only have to stay here six more days until I can complete my mission.

I sighed. Would Father even accept it? I'm far past my deadline. If that was him today, and he saw me, he probably thought I had joined their team. Or maybe he thinks my plan is to fake joining them. That would've been a good tactic, but it's too late now.

I drift off to sleep with one last word in my head.
