I waited another hour, and was about to just get them here myself before I saw them walking out of a pizza shop. I grinned.

I ran a block away quickly, and sent up a dark orb, that exploded into dozens of red and purple sparks. They landed on some abandoned buildings, and some small flames started.

There were only a few people in the building. The perfect bait. I hid myself in the flames. Where it was so hot and bright, I hated it. But I need to know.

I waited another minute or so before they turned up, out of uniform. They talked for about five seconds, before Zane used ice to put out the nearly raging fire. Two down, three to go.

The others all search the room for citizens. After Jay took a few outside, they all moved up stairs. I followed.

It was chaos. The fire had spread everywhere, and I could see Black, whom someone had called Cole, use his earth power to hold up the ceiling. Zane was still trying to stop it. Lloyd was helping Jay and Kai clear the people out, and I almost got spotted.

The five of them helped get the remaining people outside, and I fled after they were gone, a falling piece of wood almost taking my leg off. I had teleported at the last second luckily.

After finding a spot outside to watch them, they talked about how it started.

"Maybe a kitchen fire?" Cole guessed.

"Or a candle?" Zane asked.

"It could have been a bonfire in the back yard," Jay adds.

"Probably was just the dry wood in this heat," Kai states.

"No," Lloyd says, looking around, "Somebody lit it. And as hard as it is to believe, I know who it was."

I learned was panic was when he pointed at me.
