I wake up on a bed, and wonder why it's so comfortable. This isn't my bed... Where am I?

I run my head and feel a bandage, and I start freaking out. I look at my hands to see burn marks, matching a few on my legs and scrapes on my knees. Wait- did they bring me here?

I jump up, still in my uniform, and run to the door, trying to open it. "Crap," I whisper, finding it to be locked. No windows... I look at the wall, trying to think what I have to lose.

Not much at this point.

I walk over to the wall and kick it in, making a hole big enough to crawl through. I go through it to see a girl with short black hair and brown eyes.

"Oh, hi! You must be Violet. I'm Nya, Kai's brother," she greets with a high pitch voice.

I blink a few times.

"Why did you kick in the wall instead of just using the door?"

"It was locked."

"It's a pull door," she explains, laughing a bit.

I show no expression. "Hey, so, nice to meet you. I gotta go, but just tell the guys I'll be back later," I lie, and start walking off.

"Hey, wait a sec," I hear a male voice say, and see Red. I start running off before my head starts to feel like its splitting inside and I fall to my knees. I grab it with one hand, and put one hand behind me to show him to stop.

I race to think of another way out. I can't teleport out like this, nor use my powers. I'll be no good in hand to hand, either. I'll just have to act then.

"Hey! You need to get back and rest more," he says, and tries to help me up. I knock his hands away.

"I'm fine," I hiss, and stand up, before stumbling to a wall to lean on. He frowns.

"Come on, don't tell me you're as stubborn as your brother."

"He's not my brother. Not anymore," I reply, and take my hand down, now that my head is clear. "Now, I need to go."

"Go where?" White asks, walking out of a room.

"Good morning Zane," Nya greats.

"Good morning."

"I'm going home."

They all look at me like I grew another head.
"How can you even think about going back?" Red asks, who now that I think about it, looks a lot like Nya. He must be Kai. I remembered he has control of fire.

"He's my Father. Why wouldn't I?"

"He's evil... He's raised armies, attacked innocent towns, corrupts people's way of thinking..." Kai says.

I glare. "You wouldn't get it. You have other people that care. I have one. So if you don't mind, I'll be going." I turn to leave again.

"Then you should know Lloyds been spending the last few years trying to save you," Zane says, obviously trying to get my interest.

I pause. "No, he left. He left and never looked back."

"No, he didn't. Why do you think we were in that building? He wanted to risk himself to save you," Kai says.

I start feeling tears, and bit the inside of my cheek to stop it. I will not show weakness. Not now.

I turned around, about to say something, when Lloyd comes out with Black and Jay.

"Hey, what's going on?" Black asks, obviously confused.

"Nothing. Violet here was just about to head home," Kai said, earning him a glare from me.

"What? No! I just found you! You can't leave! We have to go save Taylor now, but we still have another fighter!" Lloyd says, concerned.

I couldn't help it. I was never trained for emotions. Father said not to have any. But Taylor... I couldn't ignore her.

The room went a little darker, and my eyes started to get watery.

"Don't... Don't talk about Taylor..." I say, voice wavering, hands in fists.

He looks confused. They all do. I sniff.

"I just want to go home now. Don't stop me."

I turn and leave, walking away from what could have been my saviors.
