Part 11
Finally, after six years, I was free. Of course I would return, though. He was the only one who cared for me. Everyone else left.
That's not important, I tell myself as I walk through the building. Come to think of it, this was the same place my parents were killed. It was old, but the Ninja must use it as a base.
Smart, but not smart enough.
So I crept along the walls until I heard voices. Five, to be precise, and I barely looked over the edge of the wall to see them. Black, Red, White, Blue, and Green. Father never found it important enough to explain their names and weaknesses. I guess he trusts me enough for that.
Anyway, I lean back, and try to listen in on the conversation.
"-think that we should make sure. We don't know what his next will be."
"Yeah, but what if he's finishing up his plans? We should go before he can attack."
"I agree with Jay," wait a sec, do I know that voice? "We should move quickly. She could be dead, you're right. But we have to try. He's been weakened from our last attack. It would be stupid to wait now."
I could swear I've heard that voice before. I mean, this one was deeper... maybe someone in school?
"Fine. But if you think for one second you're going, then you're mistaken."
"I have to go! It's my father. And-"
"And that is why he would want you the most. Kai is correct, Lloyd, you must stay here."
Woah woah wait, Lloyd? As is Garmadon?
I think back at the conversation, and everything fits. Now, six years of training may have helped my skills, but I was trained and my face was hidden.
And I may or may not need help with a slight anger problem.
I charged, the element of surprise being my only strength. Well, that, and the fact I could make them all basically blind.
And of course I did.
I saw and made my way to Lloyd, tackling and pinning him to the ground by the time Red had used his fire for light.
To this day, one of my favorite moments was this one.
Red and the team didn't know what to do. Their "all so precious" Green ninja was at the mercy of a stranger. Or, at least, Father had told me he was the main target to capture. Though I'm not sure why...
Lloyd looked up at me, as if he thought I looked slightly familiar. Nah duh, I wanted to say, but held it back as we all stayed still, trying to figure out a next move.
Black spoke up, "Who are you?"
I didn't break eye contact from Lloyd as I ignored his question.
"Hey, um, violet ninja spy person, would you pretty please let our friend go?" Blue asked, earning him a whack on the back of the head from Red. "Ow, it was worth a shot."
"Are you or are you not Lloyd Garmadon?" I asked- well, more like demanded- from him.
"Yeah... hey, do I know you?" He asked.
I grinned slightly, "No. You did, but you have forgotten me."
He looked up at me in confusion and slowing realizes who I am.
"Wait, you know her?" Black asks, but Lloyd was too shocked to answer him.
"Yes, he knows me," I answer him, standing up. "Now, here's whats going to happen next. Either you can try to fight and hurt yourself in the process, or you can let me and him talk in another room. Alone."
If only I had known.
