Tick tock tick tock

I was sitting next to you patiently waiting

I looked into my wristwatch

"oh look its already seven!",I thought

All i hear is the ticking of the clock

The birds calling their lovers home

The cry of a child somewhere near

I sighed but no sound came

I spoke but no words came out

Then i started wondering...

How this silence in between of us

Became too loud
